  Sales people don't know how to respect no solicitating signs. Very annoying. Also, I will never contact you for repairs. If you can't be respectful of people not wanting to be bothered, whether it be through a sign or verbally telling them than no thanks. Plenty of other companies out there who can read and be respectful. Thanks.

  Your driver was tailgating us on the freeway in the HOV (with no passenger). When he sped up to pass us, he was texting on his phone.

  Hi Brecca, We are so sorry about this. We will definitely talk to our team about safe/respectful driving practices. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Just to note - all of our vehicles have express passes in them for the HOV lane, so we don’t necessarily need a passenger to use it.

  Whoever decides to work with Olympus Roofing should think about it carefully, please do not be swayed by the $500, $600 discount that they had in some ads. I had 2 houses replaced the whole roof by them in 2018 and now 2024, the roof on one of those houses already leaked. I called back and asked them to take responsibilities and they put the blame on the siding company for not installing the kickout flashing. Note: the roof was installed on existing siding. What a joke. To make it worse, I was led to believe that they would be responsible for the repairs until they showed me an estimate (almost half the cost I paid for an entire proof 6 years ago) 30 minutes before the repairs. Yes, 30 minutes before the repairs started. How professional ... Now I have to scramble trying to fix a leaking proof (that was installed entirely new 6 years ago) and the dry-wall damages a few days before Christmas. Very frustrating.

  Thaibinh, we regret that you feel you had a poor experience. Here's a few things to consider: 1. Back in 2018, you insisted that we install the cheapest roof possible, using materials that don’t carry a warranty. The contract clearly states that this roof doesn’t carry a warranty. We are happy to work with customers that have budget constraints, but it’s important to understand that cheaper materials may fail prematurely. 2. When you called us to inspect the leak, we came right out (within 24hrs) and gave you an estimate on the spot to fix the problem, and then offered to fix it right then and there. Most customers would be happy with this kind of speed-to-service. It seems this only further frustrated you, however. 3. Your racist remarks and attitudes towards our staff make it very difficult for us to want to work with you. To potential customers reading this review: we will always encourage you to pay for a roof that carries a warranty! If something fails, or if something isn’t installed properly, it will be covered under that warranty. It’s worth the extra expense. Also, please treat our crews and staff with kindness and respect, and you’ll receive the same in return. Shouting at us over the phone, making racist remarks, etc. doesn’t make us excited to work with you. We are human beings too! :) Thanks, The Olympus Roofing Team.

  The service and repairs were excellent, but the cost was incredibly high. We had some shingles blown off our roof during a wind storm. The repair ended up being just two shingles. It took two people about an hour to repair it, and the cost was $850. They have a minimum charge of $700 for any visit. When I think about the cost of travel, wages, and material, it seems like the cost could have easily been half or even a fourth of what we were billed. When I originally agreed to it, I had thought that it would be a bigger repair than it was. While I would consider using them again for a larger job like a whole roof repair because of their professionalism, I will be looking elsewhere for small jobs like a couple of blown-off shingles.

  Hey Drew, I'm glad the service and repairs were excellent - that's the standard we strive for. However, your review feels a little unfair. Nothing about our price changed during the project - if you felt the price was so unfair (worthy of 2 stars), why did you agree to the work and hire us as your contractor? It's a little painful to hear that we did a great job, but then have you damage our reputation by leaving a 2 star review for a price that you fully agreed to from the start. :(

  I would give them a zero if I could. I paid them to install a roof and it began falling off a year later. The warranty was voided because they installed it wrong and they would not stand behind their own contract. They claim they just bought the assets only and not the company but they still advertise that they have been in business since 1973. They have been in business only a couple of years and they don't stand behind their work!

Had the work been done under the new ownership, we would absolutely be honoring our warranty. One of the advantages of a business changing hands is the opportunity to improve upon that which has been done in the past. However, we cannot take on the financial liability for someone else’s mistakes. We’ve provided you every available resource to hold the previous ownership accountable to their warranty- a warranty that still stands and still holds legal weight. Whether or not you choose to do so is up to you.

  Beware this company. They are not to be trusted at all in my experience. It seems that their M.O. (when possible) is to rely on the customer's lack of specific roofing knowledge to (seemingly) intentionally underbid a job, only to nearly double the cost once it is too late for the customer to do anything about it or beyond the point where the customer can decline. Oh, and my salesperson's favorite phrase was, "Don't worry, I'll take care of ya", which couldn't be any less true. I can't count the number of times I heard that sentence as a way for him to not actually give me an answer to my questions. I would suggest people not rely on anything this company says, even if it is written down, and ESPECIALLY if it is just spoken verbally (my salesperson would just flat out lie to me, but didn't write some of it down, so there's nothing but my word on the matter). AVOID OLYMPUS ROOFING! LET MY EXPERIENCE BE YOUR WARNING! DO NOT LET THEM TREAT YOU LIKE THEY DID ME. They over-promised, under-delivered, and (nearly) doubled the cost while doing so. It's a gross practice. I've contacted the "Get Gephardt" people from KSL and they are very interested in covering this, as is seems like exactly the sort of bad business practice that people should be made aware of.

We are now under new ownership, and have put measures in place to prevent these types of situations from arising again in the future. We've also trained our employees to be able to properly identify how many layers of roofing there are during the estimate. Your project incurred additional costs due to the discovery of additional layers and rotten decking under your existing roofing.

  Guy that came to my house was very friendly and nice. I think they did a good job there's no leaks. But the price is ridiculous. I asked for a breakdown on what I'm paying for and they told me it was 1000 and product and 1300 in labor. There was two men here less than seven hours. If each man gets paid around 500 bucks for seven hours. I would work there but sadly they don't pay there implies that much. I think they just used shingles from a different job. And out the door they overcharge so just in case if it costing theme too much money. And they could not give us specifics on the materials and the man hours. I don't know what company can do that. but probably not a legal one.

  I called Olympus Roofing for a roof replacement quote. Christian Carlson came out to inspect it. He took the time to do a thorough inspection. He checked my attic space and took drone shots of my roof. Christian was completely honest and told me a total replacement wasn’t necessary even though another company said it was. You don’t find this level of honesty and integrity much these days. It’s rare to find a contractor you can trust. When I do need a new roof, this is the only company I am calling.

  Preston and team did an amazing job! Very knowledge and was one of the only companies offering to work with my insurance to get the best quote and pricing. The crew was very considerate to us and the neighbors. They left the work site spotless. We now get up there as a family to enjoy the new roof. Highly recommend!
