I highly recommend you choose a different construction company and bear with me on this LONG review as to why. My realtor helped us find a contractor to fix somethings in our new home and little did we know it would be a nightmare. We got a …

If I could give zero stars, I would. L & S Investments also runs this construction company, and it shows, but not in a good way. They clearly used their business to cut every corner imaginable, slap on a fresh coat of paint, and hope no one would notice until it was too late. Everything looked great during the walkthrough, but once we moved in, the problems started piling up: uneven floors, sloppy drywall work, cracked plumbing, and electrical issues that could’ve been dangerous. We even had a licensed contractor come out and confirm that much of the work had been done “just enough” to pass inspection—nothing more. It’s incredibly disappointing (and frankly unethical) to see professionals take advantage of their own tools and licenses just to boost profits, leaving buyers to clean up the mess. If you’re buying from someone who also did the renovations or construction themselves—run. They’re playing both sides, and you’re the one who ends up paying for it.

We didn’t do any electrical work at this house and didn’t do any kind of foundation work here this is work we never ever did Including drywall we didn’t do any drywall work either. This is unacceptable to blame us for work that wasn’t done this was an older home that you bought and we didn’t do that work that you are upset about. That’s the way the house was

Worst experience I've ever dealt with. Very unprofessional workers. Had to look over their shoulder very few days to find things done wrong. They cut so many corners on my house. I caught them 3 times not fixing a pipe I asked them to fix. Flooring was a nightmare. They had to fix it 6 times after they said it was good. First time I took a shower the plumbing wasnt even installed to the tub! Was repeatedly told yes we got that done.. so I woukd go over to the house to see how it looked.. wasnt even started! That happened on multiple occasions with this project. They left trash all over my yard. Cigarette butts all over my front yard. Had to call several times to get those things taken care of as well. Also I kept having to give them more flooring when they screwed it up every time. My kitchen cabinets weren't in the right place. Plumbing had to be fixed several times. The p trap in the kitchen leaked all in my cabinet. I could keep going with this but I truly hope you consider my words when looking to hire someone. They can get on here and try to defend their work... but I have over 100 pictures and 9 videos of all the things I had to repeatly address with them. I still have all the texts also. So not bashing the owner Stoney one bit because I mostly dealt with his right hand man. But it was literally a nightmare from start to finish. So choose wisely people do your research and listen to reviews and word of mouth. Good luck to you all when you hire someone......... And as everyone can see by the Company's response. They had a "discussion". So it won't even happen again. So they admit they did an awful job on everything and had to come back multiple times to fix things I caught that they cut corners on or wasnt even done when i was told it was. Its absolutely ridiculous you spend $20,000 plus and you get sorry and we will look into it. Also the fact I have to hire another contractor to come in and fix their less than even average work. Once again good luck to everyo

Hi Matt, I want to sincerely apologize that your experience with us was anything less than what it should’ve been. I understand your frustration, and I appreciate you taking the time to lay it all out. While I wasn’t directly involved, I take full responsibility as the owner for making sure every job reflects our standards — and clearly, this one fell short. We’ve already had internal discussions and are taking steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again. I’m truly sorry for the stress this caused you. We’re committed to doing better moving forward and appreciate the honest feedback. —Stoney Upright Construction

Been 3 months still waiting for them to finish what they said they would do. Would call and always had some reason "why they couldn't come by" . Once they got the check they were gone. Will never use again!

Jason Harris recently installed windows and a front storm door. I couldn’t be happier with his craftsmanship, knowledge and willingness to make me happy. I really appreciated his experience adapting my new windows to retaining the older interior wood trim. Upright Construction is lucky to have him. Thank you Jason!
