  Done a good job on the roof however left ruts in the yard left trash all over the place including empty alcohol bottles in the bushes around the house. I paid a disposal fee im sure for the roofing material. They hauled off the old shingles and left every bit of the old metal roofing laying in my yard. They were supposed to color match all roof vents but I have this giant silver vent pipe coming out of a new black roof. I have probably picked up about 400 nails out of my driveway. One would think paying double what a roof would cost they could atleast pick up after themselves. Im almost positive the only honest abe employee on the property was supervisor. Everyone else was out of Kentucky. The salesman was extremely rude and I almost had to force him out of my home. Don't waste your time or money on this place.

  Changing my review after I was only given a 2yr warranty on my garage roof because I refused underlayment that wasn’t necessary. They had to come back 2-3 times to fix issues unacceptable with cuts:joints. Also my salesman was quite forward w sexual innuendos in my home w me. Continued by text. Advised owner wife as certain happened to me there were others. Maybe some took him up on it. She was quite concerned but of course when Don called me it was excused as I misunderstood. Wonder why he doesn’t work there anymore? I contacted them again 2023 about fixing some damage and never received return call for appointment. Last week the fascia came off one side of garage due nails not going into wood. I fixed it myself and will go around garage to make sure rest is secured. I paid a lot of money Premium for good work to be extremely disappointed and ripped off. Don’t use this company. There are fine contractors to do your work less than half cost.

  I am fairly sure that I had posted a review here around three years ago but cannot find it to change it. It was five star. At this moment, I would give zero stars and would highly recommend that people go support their local contractors instead of these people. There is nothing honest about them. When we were sold our roof, which costed over $20,000 for a 700 square foot house, we were told that the lifetime warranty would be transferred one time to a new owner if we sold the house. Unfortunately, I had failed to get that in writing and now they are denying it. Not only that but a rivet or two came out of the ridge cap and the field team leader argued about coming to fix something that was clearly an issue on their end just because the install pictures looked perfect... This company are crooks and I would strongly advise against using them for roofing. Yes, they have way more positive reviews than negative but that does not change the fact that they are indeed NOT honest! We could have had a metal roof put on our house for $5,500, and we should have, but we were told a great many lies that were too good to be true by this company and we were foolish to believe them. I hope and pray that other people do not make the same mistakes that we had. Cursed is a man that puts his trust in men... Jeremiah 17:5. I pray that all future possible customers of this company steer clear of this company and put their time and money in their local contractors. Thank you to those who read this review and take it to heart. To all future customers that do not heed this warning: MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYONE'S NAME AND PHONE NUMBER THAT YOU TALK WITH, AND MAKE SURE YOU RECORD ALL CONVERSATIONS THAT YOU HAVE WITH ANY OF THESE PEOPLE! ALSO, GO LOOK AT WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY IN REDDIT. To the owner of honest abe: I have all the paperwork and nothing was explained the way you had explained it.   Rick, you are mistaken the manufacturer warranty with the craftsmanship guarantee. They are both lifetime. However, only the manufacturer warranty comes with a one time transfer, not the workmanship. Your workmanship guarantee is for as long as you own the home. This was in writing and was provided you. Also, it sounds like, according to you, we did a really good job on your roof, thus the reason you gave us a five star review. Now that you sold your home, we are a one star. Really con

  Paid them almost 5,000$ was at my home less then 3 hours....I had one tiny leak now my roof leaks in 4 different places they also took out all my vents to my houseand covered them with tin! all houses must have vents...I have contacted the company multiple times no response ..If they can get over on you they 100% will!!

  I wouldn't do business with this company again. Every time it blows snow, my attic is full of snow. They cut a gap in the very top of my attic after I asked them not to. The attached picture is from this week's snow fall that is on the ladder to my attic.

  Just way more expensive then multiple competitors. Not totally a 1 star as the sales person did seem knowledgeable, but pricing was why we went elsewhere. By way more we mean double the price too. Update: By way more expensive I mean more then doubled. So even if it last twice as long its not the best option, and based on the reply I got I just want people to shop around to fully understand.

  It sounds like we were professional and knowledgeable, but you give us a bad rating because we’re more expensive, even though we offer of roof that lasts twice as long as the cheaper estimates with twice the guarantee’s? Wow!

  I feel that this company took advantage of my elderly parents. I came to check on the roofers and to ask questions because I was concerned about what they were doing. The man would not answer my questions and then said I was being hateful when I was telling him that my father was not happy with what they were doing. All they did was put more weight on an already too heavy roof. No facial boards before drip edge. You can see the dips in the roof. Absolutely terrible and expensive $20,000 for this, ridiculous.

  I’m sorry your parents had a bad experience, however we did not do the job. We had an appointment with them, but the appointment got cancelled. I think you have us mixed up with another contractor.

  I need to have part of my roof replaced here in the next year or so. Auriel was very patient & professional about answering my questions & explaining the process to me so I knew what to expect. She even offered to send someone out right away to look at my roof & get me an estimate. So far, my interactions with the company have been great!
