  This company is just awful! They lie and promise things just to take your insurance money, do horrible job, and run. Just horrible experience. Do not do business with this company. They will take your money and run!

  Got a full roof replacement in 2023 by them; paid for by my insurance due to storm/hail damage. Two years later roof is now leaking (specifically around the chimney) and some of the older decking wasn’t fully replace (too many gaps and it requires a nail able surface). Has to be replaced in order to be brought up to code. I’ve reached out to the owner Matt and their customer service team and have not received a response regarding my issue. Company I’m sure has been dissolved by now or changed names. With all the storms happening in the Chicago land area I will avoid this company at all cost. Screams storm chaser. Go with a reputable company that has been in business for 10+ years. Save yourself the headache.

  Hey John, I'm so glad you brought this up. To clear a few things up, we are not storm chasers. We're a local, established roofing company. We carry an Illinois Roofing License. A storm chaser is one of the out-of-state roofers that don't intend to warranty the work. We offer materials with a lifetime warranty, and cover 5-years of workmanship. One of our project estimators lives in Marengo, IL (15-minutes from your address). He was ecstatic that so many people in Belvidere have been needing roofing and siding services. His normal commute lately had been all the way to Bolingbrook. We have representatives across many territories so we can meet the needs of as many homeowners as possible. You're our only bad review. We do work across Illinois, western Indiana, southern Wisconsin, and people seem genuinely happy with our work. I am sorry to have offended you with our marketing efforts. It does look like someone at your household (Laura) filled out our form online, which is why our sales rep (Marco) visited your home yesterday. I can assure you, that if we were not prompted, we would not have visited your doorstep. We'd love to still offer you a free yard sign that stops solicitation, to deter us or anyone else from bothering you.   Matt came out to look at my roof on a bump out on my house that occasionally leaks during certain weather conditions. He went up and identified several nail pops in the shingles. He caulked all of them in hopes that that would correct the problem. He assured me that if there were any further leaking issues, he would return to see if there were more serious issues to be addressed. He was extremely professional and I appreciated the fact that he didn't go straight to an expensive "fix" that may very well be unnecessary. His response was within days of me reaching out and his approach was extremely satisfying. I highly recommend TrueRoof! Update: Unfortunately, the monster rains revealed continued leaking, so Matt sent his guys out to address the issue. They found that the flashing (previously installed by another company) was not installed properly. They installed new flashing and shingles to correct the problem. This should take care of things, but if there are still issues after the next big rain they will dig deeper if necessary.
