  Good afternoon, John. Thank you for sharing your concerns. I’ve reviewed the situation thoroughly to ensure all the facts are straight. On January 20th, we received a call about some condensation around the skylight on the lower part of your roof, near the garage. You also requested that we check the rest of the roof for any additional damage. On January 22nd, our representative assessed the skylight, found it in good condition, and recommended installing a vent to address the issue. We then provided a detailed estimate, clearly specifying the vent placement. This estimate was reviewed and approved by you. At no point during our discussions was there any mention of an extension or that the vent was intended for the kitchen attic. The focus was solely on the lower roof area, particularly where the skylight is located. As for the bathroom fan, we don’t install fans, so it seems there may have been some confusion there. We’re roofers, not electricians—so we’ll let the electricians handle the fan installations! Fast forward to April 6th, when you reached out to request a reimbursement, stating you had someone else move the vents. On May 22nd, the insulation company we recommended contacted us regarding the same issue. We realized the vents hadn’t been moved yet, and we offered to reinstall them at a minimal cost. Unfortunately, we didn’t hear back from you. We always strive to be thorough in our estimates and ensure our customers’ expectations are met. I’m sorry there was some miscommunication along the way, but unless we’re informed, we can’t be expected to know every detail of a property’s layout. We’re here to help resolve any issues, and we always aim to leave our customers satisfied—just let us know how we can assist you moving forward.

  FRAUD ALERT! Horrible experience with this company. They came to do an inspection for our roof and damaged it and left it damaged on purpose!!! We found the peeled off shingles just beside the damaged areas. We had just gone up to the roof recently to clean the gutters. While the roof showed some wear and tear with age, it did not have any visible signs of damage. However, after the inspection, all corners were completely peeled back with the inside exposed!! When we called them to confront them about the damage, they completely denied everything and hung up the phone. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! In response to your reply, Leon and Vanessa, we have independent assessments from other roofing companies that these damages are not due to animal activity but man made. They appeared after Blair did the inspection. When we initially called Blair, he threatened to call the police and hung up. You reached out afterwards for the team to come and fix the damages but you asked Blair to come with the crew. We replied and mentioned that the crew is welcome to come but not Blair. You did not reply back. We don’t think any home owner would feel comfortable with inviting the person who damaged their roof in the first place, was dishonest and uttered threats to come to their property again. Google reviews provides an honest forum for exchange. As consumers, we feel an ethical obligation to share our experience and alert others so that other customers can avoid what we went through. We will not be intimidated to reconsider our statements because they are a true description of what transpired. We encourage you to inspect and audit your own business conduct rather than blaming the customer.

These images clearly show that the damage to your roof aligns more with typical signs of animal activity, likely squirrels, and long-term neglect rather than any actions taken by our team during the inspection. Lack of proper maintenance creates an environment that can attract such animals, leading to the damage you've reported. Pointing fingers without substantial evidence or proper understanding of the situation is misleading and unjust. Regarding your claim about our phone interaction, we uphold a high standard of customer service and would never abruptly end a call with a client. This accusation is inconsistent with our standards and protocols. Your false claims not only attempt to unfairly tarnish our reputation but also distract from the genuine issue at hand - the crucial need for regular and diligent roof maintenance on your part. We encourage you to reconsider your statements and evaluate your home care practices.

  Repair was not done properly and now he claims he did not conduct the work. Not the most honest vendor!

  We've been using their services since we moved to our home in Toronto. Vanessa and Stan are great people. Customer service is key to them. Most importantly, Stan is able to repair and fix our issues with a fair price (we've compared quite a few before our first service with them, they only target your true problem, and not inventing non existing problems).

  I recently had water sheeting down the side of my house. I got a quote for $2,600 to "fix" it (not from TTR). I called TTR for a 2nd opinion. They booked me 2 days out, Veronica confirmed the appointment a day prior and the 2-man crew showed up exactly on time. Stan and his partner diagnosed the issue and showed me photos. It was bird nests blocking the eaves from a faulty leaf guard. $250 later (minimum service charge), problem solved! I really appreciated TTR's promptness, professionalism, and honesty. They are my new roofing guys!
