Totally ripping off from TOP ROFFING LLC LIC#: I3VHI 1832400 Usually I don’t do reviews, but this time my story needs to be share. Last May we had top roof LLC doing our roof in Union Township. Small 2 bedrooms single family home. We agreed and signed a contract for 11k for new roof with Mike from top roof . They started to do the roof on Memorial Day weekend. When they removed all my roof it started to rain a bit. I got a phone call from Mel saying the roof has issue with old wood base and mold, need to remove and replace plywood spray mold , add sister beams. And here are the price: 1/2“ plywood $33700.00 5/8” is $39400.00 I called Mike from Top Roof who I was working and signed contract with, asking why $11k now additional up to almost $40K. Mike was washing his hands and saying that’s the wood guy not me . I only dealing w the roof. Minutes later Mel called me and said will giving discounts to $28400.00 TO GET IT DONE , BECAUSE IT IS RAINING AND MY GUYS NEED TO GO HOME, IT MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. I was freaking out , my roof was completely open and it was raining, I have no choice but to let the finishing my roof. With additional cost with tax is the amount of $30,246.00 (THIRTY THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED FOURTY SIX ) on top of $11K new roof.

Stay away from this company for certain jobs. I called them about an inside stair railing. Should have done more research on this type of work with them. Individual came right out and quoted a price, took a down payment, did part of the stairs and then wouldn’t come back to finish the job. STAY AWAY!

I got my house sided with an original estimate of $18.000. After stripping the house of the old siding, I was told the cost would be an additional $13,000 due to an issue with the plywood underneath. I was never told anything about …

Roofers that don’t take care of the customers property. They damaged parts of the home that they are not working on and now months later after fixing the roof there are leaks. Now they don’t want to honor a 20 year warranty. Please stay away from these shady people! Going to be taking them to court!

The most unprofessional company I have seen. They have no regard for your property. They have done over $28k of damage on my property and their insurance was cancelled due to no payment. BEWARE of them. !

Sokol came across as honest and straightforward and I did not feel like he was upselling me. One of his teams of 2 (led by Gene) came the next morning and completed new gutter installation within 2 hours. Sokol came later to personally inspect the work and even got on the roof himself to tidy up the soffit. I asked about gutter guards but he said because we only have 1 neighbor’s tree nearby, it wouldn’t be worth it and to just save the money. Seems like a good, family-owned business that proudly stands by its work. Price was reasonable and there is a 20 year warranty on the work.
