  Had my house roofed last year roof seems ok but they left a mess still having nails showing up when there is a storm causin flat tires, couldn't communicate with roofers due to them not speaking English well and Forman wasn't around most of the time very unsatisfied with their attitude and sloppyness.

  Unfortunately our experience with this company was less than pleasant. We absolutely would not recommend! They replaced our siding and gutters. They ordered the wrong siding and began installing when we noticed. They corrected that issue. Then siding began falling off of the house before the job was even completed! Apparently they didn't attach it to the studs or secure the pieces to each other! We did not know the crew was finished with the job as we didn't have a final walk around and they did not clean up! There were pop bottles in the front and back of the yard. We expected to find a few nails in our flowerbeds but there were nails all over the driveway, pieces of sidiing in the yard and in the gutters (from siding the dormers) which caused them to not drain properly. My husband had to climb up and remove the pieces during a storm after we noticed water running over them and not down the downspouts. The crew regularly used profanity and the project manager referred to our siding as "trailer park siding" when talking with us. We chose Dutch lap because we like the look. It is more common on big houses in the south, not as comomon in our area. The company did send someone to clean up and fix problem areas on numerous occassions as more and more issues came up. Upon one visit, they dented the new gutters with their ladder. They did not mention this, we noticed while gardening. Lack of attention to detail. They closed in an extension cord under the trim while triming out the garage doors (again that was not mentioned but that we found after trying to wind up our cord that they had used). They cut the trim uneven causing it to warp and not lay flat against the garage door frame. A trim piece along the side of the garage warped so badly you could put your hand underneath it. Again, from not being properly secured. The siding under both front windows began sagging shortly after completion. During installation, our roof that is ten years old began leaking where the sidi

  Had them install a metal roof 6-7 years ago. The panels keep sliding down & the roof on my back porch has leaked ever since they installed it. I have called them many times & it's still not fixed. They won't even come out to deal with it anymore.

  Did what was requested when it was requested. Roofers were polite. Cleanup completed. Would recommend to friends and neighbors.

  I have worked with the people at Tichenor for over 15 years. They put a new roof on my house, repaired the fire box in my chimney, and most recently replaced siding on my house that was damaged from lawn equipment. I have found the quality of their work to be excellent, and the people doing the work have always been professional and respectful. I would recommend you consider them if you need a good contractor,

  Tichenor did a marvelous job on my roofing project. After we agreed to proceed with the project they ordered, delivered and commenced the work within two weeks! There crew was very skilled in tackling our very steep and challenging roof. The crew was large and most efficient and they completed their work within a day and a half including the detached garage. The quality of both the product (Malarkey Vista) and workmanship was excellent. They also installed a high quality TPO flat roof over our sunroom and performed various storm related repairs. They are experts in flat roofs and we are most pleased with the results. Any minor follow-up issues were addressed quickly and to our satisfaction. We would recommend this company if you want a company that is reliable, good at communicating, and delivers a quality product in a most professional manner. Missy Wickham and Chris Wozniak were wonderful to work with during this project. We would recommend this firm to anyone who wants a job done right and on time. Herb and Sally Boyer

  Thank you Tichenor's! My parents in Battle Creek, are so pleased🤗The photos from the drone helped us understand that there is more than meets the eye. The work crew was remarkable and worked tirelessly through the heat and rain. Clean up was pristine! Looking forward to having my roof replaced this fall in Kalamazoo.

  TIchenor did a PHENOMENAL job for us! We had to replace the roof and siding both due to a hail storm. Tony was very knowledgeable about the products and advocated for us with our insurance company, Missy was super prompt with communication, and the crews (subcontractors for roof and Tichenor employees for the siding) were a dream to work with, especially the siding team. The quality of workmanship and their customer first approach more than exceeded our expectations. I can't recommend them enough!

  Tichenors has taken care of all of our homes for over 25 + years. All jobs have been done with highest quality. From windows to doors, gutters, siding, and roofing. Our latest project was when we came home from Florida this spring, we heard from our neighbor and a door to door salesman that there had been a large hail storm which made sense that we had shingles all over the ground. We turned down the door to door fella and called Tichenors (aka) Battle Creek Roofing. Within a few days they (Tony) came and examined our roof. He said yes we need to contact our insurance. Our adjuster made an appt to look at the roof with Tony and they agreed there was damage. After waiting for 90 degree weather to clear out, the work was scheduled. First the materials were delivered, then the dumpster, and the crew appeared the next morning! All completed within 3 days and orchestrated by Missy / Tichenors! Before dark the leftover materials and the dumpster were all gone! All quality work done by all who were involved! Beautiful Work!

  Every Tichenor person I worked with was very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional…from the canvassers to personnel to project manager and to each work crew member. With all the damage done in the Portage area with two different weather events, I was thankful for how quickly they were able to get my house back to whole. I highly recommend them!

  I chose Tichenor, Inc. (a local company) to complete a new roof, shutters and some siding work. I worked with both Mike and Heath as I knew they were local.   Hired to install new gutters on my house. Very competitive pricing! They came out and installed my whole house in no time and lacks no quality whatsoever! The gutters have worked very well especially with all this rain we are getting lately . Highly recommend Tichenor!
