BUYER BEWARE. Monroe and his "Amish" crew still have not finished our roof that they started in April 2021. He and his contractor, Bill I have passed the buck for the past 9 months. Bill promised that someone would come back and finish fixing the back porch, add snow bars, and repair the soffet that they punctured as soon as their busy spring season would allow. We have called Monroe and Bill many, many times. Each time is another excuse. Neither of them will take responsibility to complete the job. Not to mention that while they were doing the original work, they left a tarp hanging over our main window for 3 weeks! When asked to come and take it down, they suggested we climb a ladder and cut it down ourselves. They also left so many screws and shards of aluminum in our yard that my mother and daughter both cut their feet. We also noticed that the moldy decking is still on the roof!!! It was never replaced! We spent so much money, and now don't know what to do. We have a lifetime guarantee, but Monroe refuses to even complete the job!!! I wish I could add photos.

Hello, Alternative Roofing Solutions was subcontracted to do your roof (labor only), by William Tinges company. At no point did we sign a contract with you expressing any type of warranty or guarantee. We were shorted 9 pieces of metal from the manufacturer, through no fault of our own, and had to tarp your roof, for three weeks due to metal shortages at the time. Alternative Roofing Solutions used all resources available to try to get your metal as quick as possible, and installed it the very same day it was roll formed. We apologize for the tarp, and are happy to say we haven't ever had to do this before or after your roof. Upon finishing we were instructed to pick up a check for William Tinges co. and you refused to pay, when asked you stated you were (trying to get a discount), and proceeded to pick the roof apart from one end to the other. Although not getting reimbursed from William Tinges company, and not having a contract, or any type of guarantee through our company we addressed every issue you had with the roof, including replacing decking we had previously replaced, when we removed skylights, which had become moldy again, from condensation due to you failing to remove the old skylight channels, that ran from the first floor through the attic. We realize that we made major communication errors, and and are truly sorry for that. We do not take constructive criticism lightly, we take full responsibility for this, and have tried to turn it to a positive, by continuously improving on all areas you pointed out. To my knowledge I have never left a customer that had an issue with any part of our work, and will never do so in the future. From this day forward I hold nothing against you for the promise you made to me, and failed to keep. Again I apologize that we failed to meet your expectations and wish you the best in life moving forward.

BEWARE - Monroe seemed to be a great guy at first, they came out in July and did my roof. When the job was done I paid for it in full, even though the snow bars over the doors were not done. Monroe gave me his word that he would have the snow bars on before winter. I agreed this was fine as long as it was done before winter. After inspecting the work, I was not happy with the chopped up corners, and sent him photos explaining that this was a visual and was not acceptable. He agreed to fix this when he returned to finish the snow bars. After several dead-end promises to make it out, the work on my roof is still not complete. At this point I have nothing good to say about this company, but beware - Don't pay them until the work is done, because Monroe is not a man of his word.

I had my roof, soffit and fascia replaced .Edwin was very easy to work with. He was very attentive to all my questions and requests. He showed up when he said he would and always cleaned up at the end of day . The quality of work is worth the price and the peace of mind that it was done right 👍. I would recommend and have given several recommendations to family members and friends. You can't go wrong with using Alternate Roofing Solutions!

We have now used this company for two major projects at Ganger Dermatology, and they have exceeded our expectations both times. Their team was professional, responsive, and easy to work with from start to finish. Most recently, they replaced the entire roof on one of our buildings while we continued normal daily operations. They worked efficiently, communicated well throughout the project, and minimized disruption to our patients and staff. The job site was kept clean and organized, and when the project was completed, there was no indication they had even been there—other than our beautiful new roof. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to customer service are outstanding. We highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again for future projects.

Alternative Roofing Solutions did an outstanding job on my house, a very complex metal roof installation with many peaks, valleys and odd transitions. The crew had a fantastic attitude about the work, demonstrated skilled craftsmanship, and worked incredibly efficiently. Monroe was honest, fair, and straightforward with the business aspect of the project, as well as excellent with communication. Highest recommendation!!
