  We had a 5-yr warranty but was required to pay for the inspections. When they did the first inspection, there was a wrinkle in an area. The inspector took his knife and made a rip and proceeded to take a picture of it. Our warranty was voided because of a tornado that hit Spanish Lakes, which is over 6 miles away. We had to hire another roofer to repair the problems that was done on the original installation. Whispering Creek does not recommend Roof Authority. Today we received a call from the company to clean and inspect the roof. Why would we call a company that will not honor their warranty.

The Roof Authority, Inc. provides a written workmanship warranty, which is separate from ongoing maintenance or inspection services. While routine inspections are strongly recommended to help protect a roofing system and identify minor issues early, our warranty does not state that inspections are provided at no cost. Regarding the inspection you referenced: our technician has not been to the property for 11 months. No damage is created during inspections. Any areas photographed are done solely to document pre-existing conditions or deficiencies for the owner’s awareness. A probe is simply used during inspections to point out the area(s) of concern. With respect to the warranty status, severe weather events—including high-wind or tornado activity—are exclusions outlined in the warranty documentation. Even if a storm occurs outside of an immediate radius, widespread weather systems can still impact roofing systems and are classified as acts of nature, which are not workmanship-related. All recommendations provided by our team are optional and intended to give property owners information to make informed decisions. Customers are never obligated to proceed with repairs, maintenance, or inspections. Our recent outreach regarding an annual inspection was part of a routine service reminder sent to multiple clients and was not intended to imply any warranty obligation. We stand behind our work, operate in accordance with our written agreements, and value clear communication.   The Roof Authority Is the worst Company EVER!!!! We have had nothing but remorse having used this Company to do our Roof replacement. From beginning to present. They did such a terrible job, That had us on hold for almost a month with our roof off, kept wanting more and more and more money? They started at 16,000.00 went up to almost 24,000.00 and to top it off, the roof is 2 years old and we have leaks in quite a few places. We have tried to be more than patient with them to try a take care of their problems but no, they have caused more problems every single visit.. We have now gone to the State of Florida and have filed a complaint, we are now having to hire an Attorney, because the Owner Chris Long keeps wanting to push us aside hoping we will just walk away. Well Not going to happen. Our roof needs to be replaced all of it. The Lanai and the main roof.. We also have found out that everyone who was involved with putting our roof is no longer there, they because they were doing terrible work. Chris was told recently that our roof was needing to be redone and he said No. just patch things up??? Really after you take almost 24,000.00 from us, you give us such terrible workmanship and you are not going to stand behind your work???? Come to find out, since our issues with this Company, we have heard of numerous people who are and have gone through the same exact issues we are.. Chris Long Your COMPANY SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN.... How can you sleep at night knowing that you are treating your Customer's with such disrespect?? I'm sure that your Roof on your home is up to code and keeping your Family Dry. All I can say is shame on you Mr. Long!!! Terreasa and James

  Correction. Do not hire this Company, Two months Afer they installed my new roof I got a leak, four years later I got a leak at the same spot, They advertised five years warranty , when I call them to fix the same under warranty , they argued that after a hurricane they don’t honored the warranty . They want to charge me to fix it.

  Bad safety with this company and that led to osha fining them for not being safely tied off on jobs. I wouldn’t recommend because they also over charge.

  Roof Authority came out immediately when I called them with my problem of a leak. They repaired the leak and were paid promptly. With the recent heavy rains, the leak is still in the same place though not as bad. When I first contacted them, I spoke with a very nice lady who told me no problem they would take care of it. I asked to be called 10 minuted before they came out ( as no specific time was given). They came out and didn't call me and left their card in the door. I called back and was told that leak repair have no guarantee and that there would probably be a charge although they had not looked at it. I said if I had known that from the start I never would have hired them. They still have not looked at their work nor gotten back to me. Thus I would never recommend this company...it appears once they get your money you're on your own and they don't stand up for their work. I'm grateful that someone else will read this and not get swindled!! By the way my bill was over $1600.00!!!!!

  Roof Authority is an amazing family oriented company that cares about their community. I have been working on a shelter for a feral cat community, Roof Authority provided the shingles for my project. The cats and I are very appreciative for everyone at Roof Authority.

  Recently I required warranty work on my 7 year old roof from Roof Authority. They were extremely professional and honored the warranty to my roof. The repairs were done as promised and we were very pleased. It is good to do business with a company who keeps their word. Katie was a great help.

  Had a great experience with The Roof Authority. Interviewed four roofers before selecting TRA to replace the roof on our home. Everyone I dealt with in the organization was extremely professional. The owner, Christopher is hands on and explained in detail options for materials, colors, along with wood repairs and gutters, if necessary. Pricing was very competitive. In some instances the specifications I selected exceeded some of specs on other quotes for approximately the same cost. The installation was very smooth. The crew worked every day until the project was completed. (there was no "We'll be back in a couple days. Have to finish another job first") The crew cleaned up the job site daily prior to leaving, which was a nice touch. The craftsmanship, fit and finish of the new metal roof is excellent. There were no surprises in the entire process. All went according to plan. I highly recommend The Roof Authority.

  Chris Long and his team proved to be responsive and professional all throughout this process. Communication was excellent as you would expect from a professional outfit.   I recently had The Roof Authority replace my old shingle roof with a new 5V metal roof. The process was so easy. They were professional & courteous, the whole thing took less than one week from start to finish & their crew left my property neat & tidy - no nails! Mynew roof is gorgeous & quiet, no cell phone or wifi issues either!I highly recommend the Roof Authority

  The Roof Authority experience was fantastic from start to finish. The original inspection was completed within hours of my original request. The repair personnel showed up within two days and the repairs were completed within a few hours. By the afternoon a downpour had proven that the work was done properly and efficiently.
