This review was based on just the estimate consultation. It was unfortunate that the representative seemed to push Hardie siding like there was extra incentive for him rather than supporting what we were interested in buying. It seemed like an inconvenience to order the siding were were seeking a quote for. He didn't take the time to go over pros and cons for the siding we were seeking, just pros and cons of Hardie siding. Insulting and talking down about competition does not win us over. In some cases, talking bad about others only try distract from their own weaknesses. I requested a quote from here because of the positive reviews and few negative. It is a shame that I couldn't get past the sales rep. The window demo was good. In the end, because of the sales rep, we opted to go with another vendor, I will gladly pay a little more for a better experience from the start.

I’m sorry things didn’t start the way you would have liked. Our goal is for all our clients to have a great experience with each and every person they deal with from receptionists to sales people to project managers to installers, … On the rare occasions where something does go wrong, we have systems in place to catch and correct problems. One way you can get this started is to simply call our office, if you are not happy. Your call will get passed up the line all the way to me, the president, for resolution. In terms of siding, we have multiple offerings, including vinyl, each with their own set of benefits. There are, however, some products we will not install because they don’t meet our endurance requirements. Our salesmen may also focus on a specific product when they hear requirements that are not met by other products. If you would like information on any of our products, please let me know, and I’ll make sure you get a full explanation of the products.

We contacted the Aluminum Company because we became aware of a water intrusion problem. Aluminum company installed the original windows. When my husband and I contacted them, they informed us that the warranty is transferrable to the second owner of the home, and we had just put the home into our names. We were also told it was still under warranty by the woman we spoke to. We asked them to come look at our windows. The individual they sent blamed the water intrusion on our roof. See the email attached. Then, he said it was a 10 year warranty now. We asked for the paperwork, they couldnt find it. Then, they came back and said no, it's 20 years and nontransferable. We have had multiple contractors since them who have all said that the windows were improperly installed and there was no flashing on the windows. We had the windows repaired properly with flashing and wow, no water intrusion! Not a single drop. We were told by multiple contractors that the quality and ethics of the Aluminum company have gone down in recent years and they have dealt with many issues from them. They keep their window repairs in business. We plan on installing modern energy efficient windows this summer and will definitely not be hiring this company. **As you can see below they still won't even address the fact that the windows were very clearly installed improperly. The same family who poorly had these windows installed, still owns this company. We replaced the rotted wood under the window and properly flashed them and NOT A SINGLE LEAK. Blame whatever you want but the fact that no responsibility is taken for this past poor install shows you what you need to know. I have phone recordings from them talking about their warranty for the windows and stating the home still qualifies and is transferrable to the first buyer the home is sold to then changing it to a 20 year warranty and not transferrable after their "inspector" came out. Steer clear.

Cam, We are sorry to hear that you’ve experienced water damage. Even though the 2002 window we installed for a prior homeowner is no longer under warranty (a copy of which was sent to you as a courtesy), as a 5-star-rated company, we sent our inspector to your home at no charge to determine the root cause of the problem and advise you on necessary repairs. We even had multiple people review the inspector’s findings to confirm that a warranty claim did not exist. While we will not engage in ongoing online discussions, we felt your statements were misleading and included only selective portions of the information we provided to you; therefore, we have provided an unbiased restatement of the facts, all of which are supported by photographic evidence. You may also call our office if there is anything you would like to discuss further. Our inspector found that the primary cause of water intrusion was caused by a worn-out and improperly installed roof. On a low-pitched, or nearly flat roof such as yours, roofing manufacturers require a waterproof membrane such as WinterGuard to prevent leakage. While leaks may not occur every time it rains, those that do can be hidden by the finish carpentry until damage is substantial. If you have any doubt about the WinterGuard requirement, we are happy to provide you with links to where roofing manufacturers documentation state the requirement. If, as in your case, you find a contractor who suggests that the manufacturer’s requirements do not need to be followed, we would recommend against using that contractor for a long-term fix. As evidence that the roof was the primary problem, we pointed out where the soffit, well above any window work, had rotted to the point of developing a hole. We also pointed out the buckling across the entire front of the roof. We also found that siding work was done after the windows were installed and that the siding installer added wooden frames around the windows, allowing for leaks, rather than tak

They have spent big $$$$ on Olympics ads so every single ad break on peacock TV shows their same ad. So obnoxious. Edit: the person replying to me is correct. I would never do business with a company who thinks a large amount of spam advertising is appropriate.

We have no record of this reviewer ever contacting the Aluminum Company of NC for any service. We are happy to sponsor and support the U.S. during the Olympic Games. We are a small local business and we're proud to advertise to our local area during the Olympics.

This account is also Mr. Zuber's account. Due to having Chinese writing when he initially emailed us through this account it filtered through our spam. Our employees are trained not to open emailed with foreign lettering. We apologized for this inconvenience when he reached out a second time via phone. He mentioned this happens frequently.

Can't speak about their work because they don't actually contact you to have the work done. They say they'll contact you but never actually do. Typical post covid small business unreliability.

Sales people aren't responsive after work is started, but they apparently do quality work if you can get them to do it. Communication sucks.

At our most recent spring open house, Mr. Zuber came into our showroom and was asking for a price to remove a chimney on his home where we had previously installed a metal roof in 2010. Mr. Zuber was working with the same sales representative from 2010 and did not like the quoted price for the work. In addition to talking to his sales representative, Mr. Zuber also reached out to Sami Hanna for a revised quote to take the chimney out further to allow him to install sheathing in his attic (where the chimney was previously). We responded by saying, this is not something we normally do but we would be willing to have a mason come look at the project so we could give him an accurate bid. Mr. Zuber declined to have us bid this additional work. We strive to have clear communication on everything we do. If there is anything further we can do on this project, please reach out.

I had work done in the summer of 2022. The reason I’m writing this review now is I keep hearing on the radio their commercials and it’s simply not completely accurate. Their prices were higher than other estimates I received. I paid them 4-5 thousand dollars more than I would have another company. I hired them because of their commercials on the radio. I thought they would be better. They were no better than anyone else. They don’t actually do the work. They contract their work out. The ones who do the work are not aluminum company employees. The man who was supposed to direct those workers seldom showed up. I had to do his job. So what I’m saying is hire someone else and save yourself some money.

We contacted The Aluminum Company of NC for an estimate for a new roof. From start to finish they were fast, friendly, and professional. They answered all of our questions, communicated clearly, and completed the job as promised. The new roof looks fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled roofing company.

We recently completed a major exterior renovation with Aluminum Company of North Carolina that included replacing 42 windows, installing a new door, and replacing the decorative trim around the front door and the front bay. It was a large and detailed project, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to John Alexander, who was outstanding from the very beginning. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and professional. At no point did we feel pressured into making decisions. Instead, John took the time to answer every question, explain the available options, and provide honest recommendations. I also want to recognize Troy and his installation team for their exceptional craftsmanship. The decorative PVC trim on our home was very intricate and required a tremendous amount of precision, patience, and attention to detail. They meticulously recreated every architectural detail and delivered beautiful results. Their installation of the double-hung windows, round-top windows, and door was equally impressive. The crew was professional, organized, and clearly took pride in doing the job the right way rather than the fastest way. A big thank you goes to Jared for his excellent project management. He was attentive throughout the project, communicated clearly, addressed every question respectfully, and made sure everything stayed on track. It’s reassuring to work with someone who genuinely cares about customer satisfaction and follows through on every commitment. It’s rare to find a company where everyone from sales to project management, installation, and finishing works together with such professionalism and dedication to quality. We are extremely happy with the results and would confidently recommend Aluminum Company of North Carolina to anyone considering windows, doors, or exterior trim work. Thank you to everyone involved, and we wish the entire team continued success and all the best in the future!

Getting a few windows replaced was so easy with Aluminum Company of North Carolina. The process was smooth, and customer oriented, from beginning to end. The windows are of exceptional quality. I highly recommend them for your window needs. We have also used them for gutter installment with the same result.

After listening to their radio ads for years, finally took the plunge and called them. The biggest motivator was the fact that they offered to break up a large job into smaller projects AND they don't accept payment until the job is complete and to your satisfaction. Had all the windows on the front of the house replaced, as well as the front door. The communication was top notch, the crew was professional and worked diligently, and they left my property spotless. I can't say enough great things about them. Will definitely be calling on them for future jobs.
