  Before we signed the proposal we detected a typo that we had made on the proposal. We offered to correct it or allow Steve Robinson to get out of the contract. He elected to get out of the contract. We were happy to let him out and apologized for the typo however this was not good enough for him.

  The crew that did the initial assessment for our chimney cap replacement was very professional and even had a drone that took pictures. Unfortunately when it came time to do the actual work the professionalism was over. Three men showed up that we could not communicate with and replaced the chimney cap. During the first rain storm it began to leak. They returned and added boards so the cap was actually angled properly. During the next rain storm it leaked again. This time because they did not seal anything. They return and fixed it again. Almost a year later another company came to check out a separate issue and informed us that the base was replaced but the old cap was just put back on top (photo attached). We would never have known because it is hard to see it from the ground. We would have gladly paid more for a complete fix (new base and cap) but were never given the option and could not communicate with the subcontractors they sent to make an informed decision.

  We rarely respond to reviews however in this case we feel that a response is necessary. We gave Mr Hill a document before we started the roofing letting him know that we did not replace rafters. Months after we replaced the roof he mentioned he wanted some rafters replaced. Again we told him we did not replace rafters but as a favor to him we would replace the shingles at no cost after he had the rafters replaced. He hired someone that he said was a carpenter that did nothing to replace the rafters however he did damage the roof while he worked on the roof. We informed Mr Hill that the carpenter had worked in the wrong area and he agreed. As we had told Mr Hill we went back and replaced the shingles where the carpenter had worked. Mr Hill later contacted us and asked if we would replace the rafters. He said he had fired the carpenter because he was incompetent. We supplied free material and labor to try and help Mr Hill when we didn't have to get involved. I might add that Mr Hill's brother was on sight while the work was being done.

  After waiting over a month for someone to come look at the roof, he did come look at it. He said he would email me an estimate, which I never received, even after following up again via email and on the phone. I can't speak to the quality of their work because they didn't do any. I found another company that came out and put a new metal roof on in one day. If they didn't want the job I would have appreciated them letting me know upfront so I wouldn't have wasted their time and mine.

  I am not sure what happened but Cole Roofing showed up on time and was interested in doing the work in question. However, they never followed through on providing an estimate or clarifying the work that was asked to be done. This was a further issue as they failed to return several follow up calls.

  I called Cole Roofing for help in fixing a leak on a rental home I have. The person answering the phone took my information and said he would talk to the owner about it. I asked when I should expect a call back and he said he could not say. I said that was too open ended because my tenants needed to stop the water ASAP from getting into the house. He then ended the call (hung up). Yikes. I would not want to do business with an outfit that interacts with customers this way, so, see ya

  Be warned. This company replaced our skylight which we were really happy with. But do you notice the light gray tile against our black roof (see photos)? How does that look? "You signed the contract". The contract stated that they would use their own tiles - which was fine with us. But we also expected more from a professional, well-rated local business. Is it too much to ask that you do a better job matching the colors? Were you out of black tiles? Or even dark gray? Should we be grateful that they weren't white? Terrible customer service and no regard for our home.

  This is the third time that Cole Roofing and Construction has done work for me. I think the fact that I have used them three times says a lot about the quality, honesty and integrity of the company. Greg is very knowledgeable and has been in the roofing business for many years. If I ever need roof work again I won’t hesitate to call him.

  Had a branch puncture all the way through my roof and soffit on my screened in back porch. Cole & crew were out the next day and did a fantastic job repairing the damaged area completely—and at a fair price. Great turnaround and high quality work.
