🍂 Fall is just around the corner — and that means it's time to get your roof ready. Here's your end-of-summer roof checklist for Frederick, MD homeowners: · Inspect shingles — Look for curling, cracking, or missing pieces after summer's heat and storms. · Check flashings — Around chimneys, skylights, and vents. Heat expansion can loosen seals. · Clean gutters — Remove summer debris so they're ready for fall leaves. · Trim overhanging branches — Branches touching your roof cause moisture and abrasion damage. · Inspect your attic — Look for moisture, mold, or light gaps before cold air arrives. · Assess ventilation — Make sure air can flow freely before you seal up the house for winter. · Schedule a professional inspection — Catching issues now is far cheaper than winter emergency repairs. ❄️ Why does fall matter? Maryland winters bring ice, snow, and freeze-thaw cycles that exploit every existing weakness in your roof. What's a small issue in August can become a major leak by January. Give your roof the attention it deserves before the cold hits. 📍 TEO Roofing | Frederick, MD — Your trusted partner for year-round roof health. #FallRoofing #EndOfSummer #RoofChecklist #HomeMaintenance #FrederickMD #TEORoofing #MarylandRoofing #WinterPrep2 days ago
