Update 3years later: THESE PEOPLE HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They will lie on you and your name. They are disrespectful and very rude too. The first guy I met with came into my home and stated that if I allowed them to advertise in my yard and write a great review that they’d help cover my deductible. They also have my account labeled in their system and “not paid” when the person who was the supervisor at that time and worked for THEM is the cause for that not me. They advertised their company in my yard even before they began working on my roof. Then when it came time to do the roof they “found other issues” trying to get more money. Told me to file an additional claim with my home owners insurance and it got denied and I was warned that I would be found uninsurable if they paid that claim. So they then tried to get me to pay for the “new found issues” which were bs. I’ve since called twice and immediately they walk up and said “it’s not our problem” then catch attitude when you insist that they should still check it out. Just horrible customer service all around. Choose someone better to give your money to instead of these scammers.

Horrible experience with this Co. I have contacted the office for somebody to come by to inspect my roof which was replaced by DC Generals about 4 years. There is a damp odor on a corner of the garage every time it rains as well as in one …

Unfortunately not a good experience at all. All ready to have this company put on a new roof based off a neighbor's review, money ready to go, and 2 months later *still* don't even have an estimate. Originally called them on February 7th of this year - had to follow-up twice to get a call back and follow-up. Last time I heard from them was a month ago. Not going to chase them a 3rd time.

Someone walking around the neighborhood knocked on our door and wanted to set up an inspection of our roof and said they were in the area and inspecting other roofs on various days. My wife was skeptical, but I thought what would it hurt for them to look and give us an idea. Upon inspection, it was noted that more than 60 instances of hail and wind damage were found. I was told by Morgan that this would easily be a claim for insurance and she saw no reason why it wouldn't be approved. She called my insurance agency and set up a claim with them. When the insurance adjuster came out with their roofer, the only thing that was found was damage to the ridge vent. To make a long story short, it has been an uphill battle with insurance to cancel the claim and payment without knowing if my rates would go up. I would have not filed a claim for slight damage to a ridge vent. I was told of 60 instances or more of damage to my roof which then the adjuster did not find. I don't understand how 60 goes for one person, but nothing to another person. The adjuster was told by DC Generals that the roofer who "found the damage" was a newer employee. Regardless, now I have a claim on my insurance that was not necessary. I won't be using DC Generals when I have my roof replaced in the next year or so!

Impeccable service and quality! They helped me get my roof for $500- the deductible for my insurance, upgraded my shingles to Architectural shingles, and installed a free new sunroof when light debris from the old wood fell from the old sunroof and they didn’t like it’s integrity! Clean up was outstanding. Refreshing to find a company with this type of honesty and intergrity!

Their garage floor crew did an excellent job. Took care of some huge cracks, and the . Polyurea/polyaspartic (sp?) coating is simply amazingly durable. Engine lift and metal wheeled floor jack don’t mark it at all. Gas, oil, etc no effect whatsoever. Floor is still perfect and looks new 1 year later, and yes they did it in January! Salesman was wonderful to deal with, as was the install crew. I’m used to doing everything myself, they were not a cheap way to go, but you definitely get your moneys worth. Highly recommend.

DC Generals provided a stunning, solid epoxy in our two car garage townhome. They allowed us to mix in some glow in the dark flakes with our color selection and the results were magic. My husband loves that the floor glows when the lights are out. They sprayed up along the poured concrete knee wall and on our wooden steps making for a professional, polished and seamless look. Happy husband!

Door to door sales person did not wear a mask or stay physically distanced when she came to our door to discuss the services they offer. Need to take safety precautions seriously during the pandemic.

DC Generals did a wonderful job throughout our entire roof replacement process! Chris, our representative for the company, helped me work with my home insurance company after my initial claim was denied. Because of his help, the insurance actually reversed their decision and gave us partial payment towards the claim! Getting a quote and scheduling the work was very easy and fast. The roof crew was incredibly professional and did a very good job from start to finish. We also had severe water and mold damage on the inside of our home. The inside crew did a great job fixing the drywall and were even able to match my wall paint perfectly! Thank you to Chris and DC Generals for all of your help.I would highly recommend this company for any roofing/home repair needs.

We have had the most amazing, wonderful experience using DC Generals to replace our roof due to wind storm damage. From the company representative, Tammi Harmon, to the work crews, we were impressed with their level of professionalism, yet friendly. All questions were answered, alleviating any worries. The work crews were on time, hard working, thorough about everything, especially cleanup. Definitely highly recommend them 100%. You will not be disappointed!
