Contacted Politz from value pack card. Owner to contact me the following Monday. No response on Monday or any other day. Owner seemed more into selling me what I don't need than fixing the problems. VERY POOR SERVICE!! Well, on to the next NO SHOW!!

This is not a rating for work performed. It is a rating based on the lack of follow through to my request for an estimate for siding work. The company was very responsive to my initial estimate request completed through their website. However, I never received an estimate or any follow-up from the company. After we were unable to connect within the first few days, I followed up twice, once by phone and a second time through the website. I was told my request had been assigned to someone, but I never heard another word from anyone. It was a disappointing experience.

Thank you for your feedback, and I'm sorry to hear that we weren't able to connect in the first few days. We have extensively checked our contact logs and unfortunately don't have any record with your initials on file so we are unable to reach out. We understand how frustrating that must be and if there is any way we can assist in helping you with your siding we would be happy to. Please give us a call at 301-620-2023 to set something up. Thank you very much.

Terrible job! Roof leaked within 6 months and has not responded to us since last year to come fix or even see it. I am contacting Better Business Bureau and State Attorney's Office.

I had a tree fall on my house and needed part of the roof, a wall and the siding replaced. I called Politz and spoke to someone in the office who promised I would get a return call. It has now been close to two weeks and I have not had a return call or email. On a scale of 1 to 10, returning a call as compared to repairing a home ought to be a 1. If they can't do that then I don't feel then can do a much more complicated job.

My family and I are very impressed with the services that Politz Enterprises provided. They were prompt, quick, friendly, clean, thorough, and careful. They went over and beyond to protect our flowers/property while completing the services requested. I have recommended their services to our neighbors. I will definitely use them again in the future. Exceptional service.

I would recommend Politz Enterprises for your next roof replacement. They are very responsive and straightforward about our roof estimate and replacement. I prefer to support local businesses and was happy that Politz is based in Frederick, MD. Prices are competitive with other roofers I considered.

Politz really came to our rescue in a big way, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! After our home suffered siding damage from a sleet storm, we initially hired another contractor (one of those companies that comes door to door) to replace our siding. Unfortunately, that company later lost its license to operate in the state of Maryland, yet still tried to convince us they could complete our project and keep our deposit. Thankfully, we found Politz online and quickly realized we had many mutual connections in the Damascus community. My husband was a teacher in Damascus for 22 years and a coach for 28 years, so that connection immediately gave us some comfort. After our previous experience, however, we made sure to do our homework. Everywhere we looked, we found nothing but outstanding reviews and wonderful things to say about Politz. We are so happy to now be one of those five-star reviews! From start to finish, Politz Enterprises was absolutely incredible to work with. They were honest, trustworthy, reliable, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy with the finished project. The communication throughout the process was excellent, and the quality of workmanship from the crew was truly exceptional. They did a beautiful job on our new siding and shutters, and the attention to detail really shows. We have been getting compliments from our neighbors almost daily about how amazing our house looks! After such a frustrating experience with our original contractor, working with Politz was truly a breath of fresh air. We are incredibly grateful that we found them and would recommend Politz without hesitation to anyone looking for a dependable, honest contractor who does outstanding work. Thank you for turning a stressful situation into such a positive experience—and for making our home look better than ever!

Just last week we had our roof replaced by this company. It's a great company. Our home is very large, located in Potomac, MD. This company was extremely responsive throughout the process. The owner, Robert Politz, is directly involved at all stages and was actually the person I dealt with in deciding to go with this company and in signing the contract. He was very straightforward. No B.S. No hard sell. Their price was the lowest bid I obtained. But even if it had been a bit more, I still would have gone with them, because the overall impression, which proved accurate, was that they are professional and honest. Robert Politz's son Nick was the supervisor on the actual job, and just like his father, he was responsive, straightforward and professional. Good company. You'd be making a mistake to not give this company serious consideration if you're replacing your roof.

Hard working and honest company. I'd forgotten about my initial down payment for the new roof, gutter guards and downspouts . Upon overpaying, Politz Enterprises called and told me about the overpayment mistake on my part. They tore up the old check and I sent them a new one with the corrected amount. I would not have known had they not told me. They didn't have to do that. I appreciate Politz Enterprises. I surely do! Great job on the roof, gutter guards and down spouts as well!

We cannot recommend Politz Roofing highly enough. If there were 20 stars to give them, we would. From our initial interaction with the owner, to his son, who came out with our contract and oversaw the job, to the men who installed our roof, the professionalism and exemplary job that was done has given us faith, again, that there are honest hard working people that take pride in their work. We received 3 estimates before deciding to go with Politz Enterprises Roofing. They were, hands down, the least expensive. This is coming from someone who worked in residential construction for all the major homebuilders, for over 30 years, and also actually did some roofing jobs in my younger years.

It's been a few months since the crew finished my roof and gutters. I was impressed from the first meeting. I had gotten a few quotes already prior. Their price wasn't the lowest but their inspection of my roof was more thorough. I also liked the product they were using. The whole process was easy from start to finish. The crew was great. The business owner's son oversaw the whole project. He was very respectful and knowledgable. Whole process took three days since I need a full deck replacement and new gutters and leaf guards. An attic fan and ridge vents were added. It was an old house with the previous owners thinking they knew what they were doing but actually made a mess of things. I spent more than I wanted but knew that it had to be done and might as well get it done right. They felt trustworthy and did a great job. I was out back grilling with my family the other day and looked up at the roof and it looks fantastic. At the end of the day I am very happy and would definitely recommend them.

This is the second time I’ve used Politz Roofing to install a new roof. Each person I interacted with provided excellent service, taking the time to answer my questions. The job was handled well and with care especially clean up. Pricing was reasonable compared to similar quotes from other companies. I highly recommend Politz to anyone looking for a new roof.
