  Hi Kisten, we have reviewed your complaint and feel you have been provided the proof that the radon vent pipe was installed after Tadlock completed the roof and before your purchase of the home. We are pleased to know you were able to properly flash the radon pipe with materials to correct this issue that was not caused by Tadlock Roofing. Since our reputation is in question here, we have attempted to contact you multiple times via email and phone calls with no success. Since this issue was not caused by Tadlock Roofing and proof has been provided, we ask that you do the right thing and remove this review. We have disputed this review on our side since it is uncharacteristic of our company to do such a thing. We are sorry you were left this to deal with from your home purchase.

  I received an email solicitation from Tadlock and decided to try the Roof Preventative Maintenance offer. On the date agreed, my Ring doorbell revealed two Tadlock employees arriving at my house. I guess they checked out the roof. I say that because I had to contact the office manager, Ms. Gilbreth, to see if there were any findings from their "inspection". She emailed back the following, "The crew did not find any concerns during the service. Normally they will report their findings back to the office (If any) and the Production Manager would reach out to you to provide an estimate for repairs. For your roof I do not have anything reported." Her reply didn't address anything that may have been done to my roof. The fact that I had to reach out to get information on any results was so discourteous on Tadlock's part. I have no idea what was done, if anything, and had to pay in advance for the "service." Buyer beware!

  Had complete roof replacement by Tadlock Roofing. The agreement was to leave the existing chimney stack on the roof. However the Chimney stack was removed leaving a hole in that area. Tadlock representative said it would be taken care by replacing the removed stack. It’s been 8 months and still no further communication from Tadlock.

  They will intentionally under quote to win a job. Our initial quote vs final bill had a 30%+ difference. Called and texted multiple times about it. Got 1 call back about it. Said someone else would call, they never did. They didn’t care at all that we suddenly had to add another $6,000 on to the final bill. Apparently to Tadlock, that doesn’t even register as a “Hey, maybe we should talk to the customer before we send the final bill”. They do not care about the customer at all. They couldn’t even check to see if they installed a skylight correctly. Spoiler alert, they didn’t. Absolute joke of a company I would never recommend to anyone.

  Hello Hunter, after looking into your claim we cannot agree with your statements. #1 Our estimators do not have xray vision and cannot see the full extent of your wood damage until the roof comes off, therefore we do not intentionally under quote. The only change in your contracted price for the roof was the rotten wood we encountered during the project. Please retract this public statement. #2 We did call and speak with Michelle about the upcoming wood charges. This call was made before sending the invoice. We have records of this call. We shared the photos taken during the project and then sent the invoice after Michelle was notified. We do this because we care. #3 The skylight was in fact installed slightly crooked. From the top of the roof it appeared proper but your interior pictures in fact were correct. Once you notified Tadlock of this issue it was promptly corrected to your satisfaction. Hunter, since most of your dissatisfaction shared is not relative, please consider removing these false statements. If you chose not to recommend us I can respect your decision, but please be accurate in your accusations. Thank you for allowing Tadlock to roof your home. We understand the surprises of damaged and rotten wood are painful but hopefully you can appreciate knowing that your roof is far better than we found it. That is why you chose to contract with us in the first place. May peace be with you.

  Had my roof done. They told me I needed 30 new piece of plywood after they took of the shingles. Then they build me for 37. Never had a roof leak. Also destroyed my leaffilter in gutters. Poor communication!

  Stay away from Tadlock! Had a roof replacement after hurricane Michael. Not only did they cover up structural damage (only found out months after the fact), i had to file a demand letter to get them to the cleanup the debris they left in the yard and finish replacing the sofits and facia boards they missed. Overcharged and horribly dishonest. I filed a complaint with the licensing bureau as well as with the better business bureau. Stay far away from Tadlock. Stubbs roofing has better pricing and customer service and the only one I'll use in the future.

  Tadlock Roofing is the worst company you can contract. They started the replacement of. The roof in my property the first week of September 2024 and, as today, the job is incomplete . The final inspection didn't pass and they just abandoned the job. Also, the roof looks terrible because their poor workmanship. They agreed to perform some repairs to fix the issues, but instead they disappeared. They have collected almost $28,000.00.

  Would NOT recommend using Tadlock. They came highly recommended. However from what I understand recently (during our roof) they went through massive layoffs and shut down some of their offices. Our initial experiences with them coming out in a timely manner and their prices were great. Everything about the experience after that was horrible! They almost ran over our septic until my husband ran out to stop them even though you note on the paperwork where it is. Someone dropped a tool that put a small hole in our ceiling. They picked the tool up but didn't tell anyone so my kids came home from school to find a hole. The supervisor didn't even know about it. Somehow multiple recessed lights were knocked out while they worked that day. They set a time to have a contractor come fix everything. We stayed home to let the contractor in and they didn't show up. I had to follow up multiple times and chase down multiple people to finally get the contractor out. They patched the hole but as you can see a patch is always going to be visible. In that same area where the patch is my ceiling is now cracking!! There's no way to fix the cracks without it looking just as bad as the patch unless we repaint and texture the entire ceiling. I think this used to be a great company but there's no way I'd choose to use them again now!

  Just had my roof replaced on August 18th, 2026, by Tadlock Roofing. I am very pleased with the entire experience.  Joseph Kruger who provided me with an estimate and helped me select the best options, along with Tadlock's stellar reputation, was a phenomenal resource and a big reason I felt comfortable signing the contract. There are several options you can choose. I did upgrade to the Owens Corning Duration shingle, added a secondary moisture barrier and a solar vent system. Faith, Allie and Axel were very patient with my many questions.  The work crew was efficient and were respectful of my property and all the tender plants I had recently landscaped. Tadlock Roofing has assembled a great team that felt like a family. I will be reaching out to subscribe to some of their other services that Joseph told me about.  My days of climbing up on ladders are over and it is good to know I can maintain my home with a quality provider such as Tadlock Roofing.   Very impressed! New roof was installed & cleanup done in a matter of 26hrs. They were very meticulous with cleaning up all of the nails/debris…you couldn’t even tell they were here! My new roof looks great!!

  There's a reason Tadlock Roofing has a great reputation. The Roofing business is tough, with a lot of variables, from supply-chain issues, weather, permitting... Padlock is a case study in logistical orchestration done right - at every stage of the process. Communications and updates with the customer, highly-skilled craftsmen, the project manager checking in during the job, follow-up inspection. It's impressive to see a team operate at such a high level of coordination and competence. They don't take their reputation for granted, they build on it.

  I noticed that my ceiling was wet after a recent storm. I contacted Tadlock Roofing and they were kind enough to fit me into their schedule within a couple of days. After completing the repairs, Emanuel went above and beyond sharing a video he took and pointing out additional damage to the AC insulation and pipe. I appreciate him making me aware of this issue as it was not part of his job, but definitely helpful.
