I was introduced to Swordsmen Roofing by a professional contractor friend who is currently utilizing their services for his company on both commercial and residential projects. He does not do repeat business with companies that can't get it done, so his referral held weight in my book. Simply put, I received an excellent finished product, skilled workmanship and good communication throughout the install. Price vs quality was very competitive and the work was completed promptly. Nathaniel kept a watchful eye on his hard working crews and brought the job to a successful finish in a decent time period. My thanks to everyone who worked so hard to bring me my new, high quality metal roof. I would highly recommend Swordsmen roofing!

Drew is the man. Our roof was kind of a pain because the shingles were so stuck on there. Drew was able to work with his team and figured out the best game plan and gave us a beautiful roof!

The professionalism and integrity of David Hall and Swordsmen have been one of the greatest experience of my life. The knowledge and quality of the material and workers performance have been an excellent approach to workmanship. David's time in explanation of the material and process of the work to be done was outstanding. I am grateful and satisfied with what has been done. I will certainly recommend his service and the company to all who is in need of roofing. I am so grateful for David and I will continue to be appreciative. I gave a 5 star rating because the work speaks for itself. The clean up crew was outstanding in handling my property. Thank you all for highly professional and outstanding workers. David is by far the best. May the Lord keep this company afloat. Elnora

Excellent work and customer service! Drew Roberts was knowledgeable, professional and proactive. He kept me informed on every step of the process. Replacing a roof is not what we ever want to do, however, if you have to use Swordsmen Roofing. I highly recommend it!

Exposed Fastener vs. Standing Seam Metal Roofing: What's the Difference? If you're exploring metal roofing for your Central Florida home, you'll likely come across two main installation styles: exposed fastener and standing seam. Here's what sets them apart. Exposed fastener panels are screwed directly through the metal surface. The fasteners are visible from the outside. It's a more affordable option and still a significant upgrade over shingles. Standing seam panels lock together at raised seams, with no fasteners penetrating the metal surface. The attachment points are completely hidden. This is the premium option — cleaner look, virtually no maintenance, and a longer lifespan with fewer long-term vulnerabilities. For Florida homeowners, standing seam is generally the stronger recommendation. The concealed fastener system holds up better against wind-driven rain, and the general demands of a climate that tests roofs year-round. Both systems are a major upgrade over architectural shingles. The right choice depends on your budget and how long you plan to stay in the home. Swordsmen Roofing installs both systems throughout the Sanford and Orlando area. Jul 10, 2026
