  Updated 08/20. HD roofing did reach out to me to make things right and provide a reimbursement. Just waiting to see if I do actually get reimbursed. BEWARE: They do not support warranty repair. They totally screwed me over as I was selling my home and the inspector found a leak that had been there since inception which was five years. One corner on side of entryway had a leak and it had to be fixed twice. They didn’t thin hey I should check the other side. I gave them a two week notice and they never answer phone. I sent pictures to expedite the process, but two days before my closing they sent one person out to access the damage. They left and never came back. Their reason why was they were not approved to fix it and they could either get a hold of the company to verify payment. The subcontractors had no guarantee they were going to get paid. I had to pay 1000 out of pocket so that I could close on my home. Hopefully you will take this advice as not only do they not support warranty work they didn’t do the job right the first time. Three leaks in five years!!

  Do not deal with them when it comes to your solar needs. Salesmen say one thing while unfortunately it is not the case. Door to door sales company trying to earn business and will say anything to get it. I wouldn't use them for my solar needs or recommend them to anyone I know.

  I'm unable to reach them and Pinellas County is telling me they did not get a permit when they did my roof. I'll change this to 5 stars if I hear from them and they make it right.

  This company did my roof replacement. Included in the replacement was the reset of my gutter system i just had put in the prior year. I was having another company cleaning my solar panels on the roof and it was noticed that the gutter system was not put back properly and roofing debris was left in the gutters and was not cleaned out. When i reached out to the company they are not willing to help resolve the issue. In my agreement it states that they are not responsible for damage to the gutters. However, this is about the reset of the gutters which was not done correctly and the debris that was left in the gutters causing the gutters not to work properly.

We understand your frustration and as we have tried to explain in our previous email correspondence and calls with our team, please know that we always honor our workmanship warranty (when applicable) and take pride in maintaining a high standard for our services. However, as outlined in Section 2 of our roofing contractor workmanship warranty documents, there are some circumstances such as extreme weather events, that are not covered. As hurricane Milton was major hurricane that impacted a large portion of the state including your area, it is considered an extreme weather event and not covered by your warranty. It made landfall as a Category 3 storm with gusts up to 110 mph. Due to its strength and severity It caused direct and indirect damage to thousands of homes. To try and help illustrate this point… let’s say a tree fell on your vehicle during the same weather event and caused damage. You wouldn’t have any success contacting the dealer/manufacturer and claim that it was due to their workmanship that your vehicle is now damaged. Such is the case with your roof. These extreme weather conditions can lift and tear off shingles and can compromise your roof beyond the thresholds of quality workmanship. We sincerely apologize for any disappointment this situation has caused. If circumstances were different, we would absolutely honor the warranty as we have done in other cases.

  I recently had my roof replaced by HD Roofing and Solar. I cannot explain how seamless an operation they have from the men that came out and inspected my roof to verify that it needed to be replaced to the ladies in the office who have worked with me to make paying my deductible an easy matter. All of the people who worked behind the scenes so that my installation would come off without a hitch. The only inconvenience I had was having to park in the street two nights to accommodate the dumpster in my driveway. The delivery of the materials was seamless and amazingly quick. The actual installation took one whole day. The whole team kept me in the loop from start to finish. I am beyond impressed and pleased with the work and workmanship of this company. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a roof repaired or replaced.

  I am very pleased with HD roofing. They did a great job planning and executing a reroofing of my home. From inspection, contacting my insurance, permits, communication and the job itself, it was done in a prudent and efficient matter.
