Massey installed a tile roof for approximately $60,000 back in 2022. July 20, 2026, I called twice to let them know that the roof was leaking in the garage. No one ever returned my calls. I had to hire another company to repair what Massey did not install correctly resulting in the leak. That company charged me $2450. I called Massey again 8/3. No return call as of yet. Don't go with Massey.

Hello Roberta, we think this one landed on the wrong business. We're Superior Built Roofing, and your review names a different roofing company as the one who installed that tile roof and stopped returning your calls. You've never been a customer of ours and we've never worked on your home. No hard feelings at all. There are a lot of roofing companies in the Fort Myers area and these listings sit right on top of each other in search results, so this happens more often than you'd think. The real problem is that posting it here means the company you're actually upset with never sees it, and the homeowners you're trying to warn never see it either. To move it: open Google Maps, tap your profile photo, go to Your contributions, then Reviews. Your review will be there with a three dot menu next to it. You can delete it and repost it on the correct listing in about a minute. A tile roof leaking four years in, with no call back after several attempts, is a real problem and you deserve an answer on it. We hope you get one.

I was a little skeptical to go with this company… but my overall experience with them was amazing. No chasing contractors down. No scammy behavior. They did the work well and showed up when they were suppose to. We did a metal standing seam roof and the process was seamless! I appreciate this type of business. Thanks Adam and team!

We recently had our roof done by Superior Built Roofing and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Their team was professional, punctual, respectful, and incredibly easy to work with. They handled everything for us including the permits, so we truly didn’t have to worry about a thing. The quality of their work was excellent, and they kept us informed throughout the whole process. It’s hard to find a company that is not only skilled, but also honest, organized, and genuinely cares about their customers. We highly recommend Superior Built Roofing to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality roofing work. Thank you to Adam for making the process so smooth and stress free!

We had a very positive experience with Superior. We had new gutters, leaders and some soffit repairs and couldn’t be happier with the results. Great communication with Nathan. He’s very knowledgeable and professional. Prices are very reasonable.

I am new resident to FL and wanted some gutters added in places where the house was missing some. I rec'd a few quotes and Superior had the best price by far. They were at my house two days to complete the work and did a great job, I am very pleased with the look. I do recommend them for gutter work! Now I just need it to rain :)

We had a little mishap with a contractor installing screens in our lanai. They punctured our roof. The company fixed it with some flashing tape. I reached out to Adam at Superior and he advised a more permanent fix. They came out and fixed the hole right away. The cost was very reasonable, but luckily the first contractor agreed to cover it. This is my second positive experience with Superior. Great company!

Florida code requires drip edge at every eave and gable of a shingle roof. It still gets skipped. Florida Building Code, Residential, Section R905.2.8.5 is specific about it. Drip edge at eaves and gables. Minimum 3-inch overlap where pieces meet. Eave drip edges extending half an inch below the sheathing and back onto the roof at least 2 inches. It's a thin strip of bent metal and it costs very little. What it does is keep runoff from curling back under the roof edge and soaking into the fascia and the edge of the deck. Without it, the damage happens in the one place you can't see from the yard and can't see from the attic either. It's also one of the easiest line items to quietly leave off a bid, because once shingles are down nobody can tell whether it's under there. So ask. On every bid you're comparing, not just ours: is new drip edge included, at eaves and gables both? A clear yes is a good sign. A vague answer about how it's all included in the price is a different kind of sign. superiorbuiltroofing.com3 days ago
