SunSmart Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for SunSmart Roofing.

SunSmart workers showed up at my house early morning, no one from SunSmart roofing introduced themself as a foreman, supervisor, or team leader, nor spoke a word of English; they just got to work ripping off my old roof on day 1 (ok, they worked hard, no problem, but Day 2 OMG!!!!). Day 2 they slopped on the new roof, **AND** they cut holes through my spray foam insulated roof area--BIG NO NO (and I told the salesman about this issue weeks prior! --THAT GOT MY ATTENTION!!! ALSO, they did not recognize pre-existing missing ridge ventilation, AND rotten roof decking that should be replaced! ALSO, SunSmart Roofing crew did not bring ladder for the two story job and ruined all my gutters (+$2K to replace)--sales person know all about this too. I called the salesperson about this spray foam ventilation problem on Day 2, and the salesperson called the roofer crew’s ‘handler’ who spoke with the handler's wife, who was the 'designated' team leader at my house so I could show her the drawings in the permit package so that she could buy the correct ventilation parts. Disappointed and distressed for trusting my Solar Source solar company's referral of this roofer, and only at my threat to filing criminal charges, the SunSmart licensed roofing contractor took my call, and the licensed contractor said he didn’t have to inspect roof deck for Hurricane compliance even with signed building g inspection affidavit because his 'foreman' did this for him—B.S. B/L: If you hire this company, verify legal work crew and the licensed contractor bothers to take the 15 minutes to inspect your roof deck AFTER your old roof is removed. My opinion/experience is this is a SHADY business.

Had a great experience with Nathan West. He handled a small repair on my roof and delivered excellent workmanship at a fair price.

About a year I had leaks on my metal roof. I hired a company to repair it but after a year, the leaks returned...and worst then before. I decided to SunSmart, when Ignacio came over. He analyzed the situation and he provided resolution. After we went everything in detail. I decided to move forward and about a week their was here and coating my metal roof. It was done a day. I'm happy with the service and looking to never a dry porch and floor, a tond never having to deal with again. I definitely recommend Ignacio and SunSmart.

Recently had a small leak in ceiling. Suspected solar panel on roof. Contacted Sunsmart Roofing and Natan West did an A+ job of finding and implementing a cost effective solution!

Nathan West came to evaluate our roof after we were informed that some shingles were missing. He looked at the entire roof and determined nothing needed to be done. He also trimmed a shingle that was trapping some water at no charge. Nathan is a true honest professional and extremely polite on top of that. My wife and I will definitely call him and this company for any of our future roofing needs.

Ignacio was excellent to work with regarding our leak repair. Made you feel like no job is too small to get the attention it needed. Thanks

SunSmart roofing did a great job for us. They were very accommodating and did the whole job while we were out of town. There were a couple small trim things we noticed later and Nathan came out to fix them himself.

Our rep for SolarSource is Kevin, and we could not be happier with his guidance and service. He was very accurate in telling us what the system can do. We are saving $260.00 pr month in electricity and the pool has been a delightful 90 degrees, no getting use to the water! Just swim!

Absolutely awesome experience with the entire team. They were able to accommodate the roof replacement on a day I was out of town and knocked it out in one day. Aside from a beautiful brand new roof, I never would have known someone was on my property. Their clean up is impeccable. 10/10 communication and service.
