  I personally wouldnt recommend. My door was broken in the first month. And the locks dont go in the punch out holes. Also gutter is being held up by a gutter piece.

  Had them out for an estimate. They kept wanting me to come to the office for the pricing & would not send it over. No explanation why they couldn't send, at least give me a reason why you can't send so i can understand. I work at the times they wanted to meet, so I had to reschedule 2-3 times. Not great on my part but i had meetings and couldn't leave. They decided not to provide me a quote because of "scheduling issues and timing." Which i take as my fault because i rescheduled. I was not in a hurry and they could have given me an estimate and we could've schedule the job for 6 months from now. My apologies for being busy and having a job that I can't just leave to go to their office for an estimate. I wouldn't recommend them unless you have time to go sit at their shop for an estimate.

Meeting in person minimizes misunderstandings and covers all the complexities associated the job. We are flexible and would have gladly came to your home, work, etc.. but you wouldn't give us the time of day. We wish you the best on your investment.

  Not happy with my final project. My home had gutter helmets which over the years became damaged and need replaced. I couldn't afford the full cost of replacing with gutter helmets. So instead I went with the next step down which was leaf guard protection. Overall, the job was completed pretty well, although I had to have them come back out three different times to fix a few small areas that were leaking.... But each time they fixed the problem. However, I'm a little upset and feel as if I were conned a bit by the salesman. My main concern was the amount of trees I have near the house and the amount of branches, leaves and other debris that they drop getting stuck and causing water backup issues. He assured me that nothing gets stuck and would just simply blow off in the wind. However, I find myself up on my roof a half a dozen times a year cleaning the debris off the leaf guards. See pictures. The project manager was really pleasant to work with and he is the one who came out and fixed a couple of the things after the job was done and was very professional and nice. His crew was decent as well. However, I felt the cleanup could have been better as I was finding pieces of the old gutters and a lot of nails all over my driveway. The finance options were pretty good but for the price I paid I feel like I shouldn't be on my roof having to clean off the leaf guards as much as I am, or at all really.

  I would not recommend this company based on my experience. The roof was installed the month I purchased my home in 2024. By early 2026, I began experiencing multiple issues, including shingles falling off, deterioration on several shingles, and a leak around the chimney. This raised concerns regarding the quality of both the materials and workmanship. The company did return to replace the damaged shingles and address the leak. While the replacement shingles appear acceptable, the sealant work around the chimney was completed very poorly. I will be including photos for reference. Unfortunately, the roofing concerns are not the primary reason for this review. During the repair process, my brand new AC unit was damaged. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability afterward. Rather than acknowledging the damage and discussing a resolution, I was told their crew “never went that far into the yard,” despite roofing debris being present directly next to the unit. I have attempted multiple times to speak with the owner regarding this matter. After conversations with the foreman, office staff, and leaving voicemails, I still have not received a return call. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I would encourage others to carefully consider their options before moving forward with their services. ( I guess I cannot add photos but if I figure a way to I will redo this ) Stay away from non honest companies

  At Sundown Exteriors it is our core value to "own it". We do hundreds of jobs and occasionally we do make a mistake. We make sure to do a final walk-through after each job is completed to avoid accusations such as this. -There was no missing shingles or deterioration. Roof is 2 yrs. old and u lived there for 2-3mo. -The large chimney on your home has not been maintained causing it to absorb water. We came back out and reflashed everything free of charge to make sure it wasnt our fault. -Everyone knows we use some of the best materials so thats false -As for the AC unit...there is no logic. The cover is made of hard metal and the dent is on the outside corner. If there ever was a chance of damage it would have been when we redid the roof not a chimney repair. When we did the repair the ac unit was on the complete OPPOSITE side of the house from the chimney. The damage was approx 2 ft off the ground. We did not have any large tools and based on the location is is impossible for us to have done, so this really makes no sense. We would have known if we damaged something that hard. No we dont know how it was damaged because we didn't see it, but I can tell u it looks exactly like a mower hit it. Same height and only thing strong enough to dent something like that. Its not our crews character to do bad work or not own up to mistakes. We care about each and every one that hires us and will continue to provide top notch services.

  Rude and obnoxious I'm not a customer but I was sitting on a bench out front for not even 5 minuets to wait for a bus when they threatened to call the cops for solicitating when I was just simply waiting for the bus on a bench. They seem pretty obnoxious to me so 🤷

  The bench you was sitting on was on private property and the bus stop is a block down the road! I asked if you were a customer and when you said NO. We politely asked you to leave our porch. We never mentioned police however we will call them if you decide to hang out on our porch again. What is obnoxious is that you think it is okay to randomly loiter at businesses that are open for services.

  They are just a sales company. They told me things like oh that's not hail damage, that's blistering from not having vents on that side. Which you don't vent a vaulted celling that's spray foamed but I guess they missed that lol. Also …

Most homeowners and insurance companies appreciate our honesty to prevent fraudulent claims. We had no negative intentions we were simply trying to guide you in the right direction. You will see that we were the only credible contractor when your claim is denied, so I hope this review suits you well. 2. We mentioned that we were expecting price increases anytime, which is common to notify customers to plan accordingly. Anyone that knows anything about the construction business knows the prices have went up significantly...not sure where your getting your information but it's incorrect. You mentioned Landmark shingles to our rep. News flash, CertainTeed is made in Canada! You might want to do your research before posting a bogus review. 3. WE NEVER ATTEMPTED TO GIVE A PRICE OR SIGN A CONTRACT WITH YOU OR YOUR WIFE. We refuse to work with dishonest clients We sensed your aggressive behavior and felt it was best to move on.

  Rep came out 2-3 days after calling. He was real eager for me to sign a contract that day, without even giving us a price quote. I told him we were going to need pricing and were looking at a few other roofers as well. I then called three times over the next 8-9 days asking for a price quote....to this day, they have never called back. Needless to say, we will NOT be using this firm.

  Amanda must be your number 1 employee. I called for a quote and told her I am interested in a quote for siding, told her I was unsure. She said she wouldn’t send anyone out unless I was serious? I wonder how many sales she has lost you. Never got a call for a quote.

  Everyone I worked with, met or spoke to were top shelf. Easy to talk with from every aspect of the bid, to signing the work agreement and all of the work performed. New roof, gutters and facia trim. They had their hands full dodging some rain, but that did not effect the outcome. Sundown has the set of strong skills that only time, experience and skill can provide. We could not be happier with the finished product and will recommend them to everyone!   We recently had our roof replaced by Sundown Exterior, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, the entire process was handled with professionalism and care. The team communicated clearly, showed up when they said they would, and completed the work efficiently. The quality of the workmanship is excellent, and they made sure everything was cleaned up before they left.   Siding had come loose from house at very top of two story house.rain has blown in and caused water spots on ceiling. Called Sundown and they came out and fixed the siding. Great service and job.Great to work with

  They did the siding on our home. Worked long hours, cleaned up every day, and did great work. Highly recommend these guys and I will be using their services again the future for sure. Update - they replaced our front door recently, turned out great!

  Working with Tony, Jacob and the rest of the Sundown team has been a pleasure. We called Sundown after experiencing storm damage to the roof, and were quickly given an honest and thorough evaluation, estimate and timeline. They have been very accommodating and professional throughout the whole process, which has included multiple schedule delays on our end. They have also been fantastic with proactive communication, and have kept us in the loop early on any developments. The work looks great, and the on-site crew was friendly and fast (completed a full roof repair in one day, including replacing the decking). Excellent experience!
