  This company doesn't even deserve a 1 Start but it's the lowest rating I could give. Subcontractors: I would strongly discourage doing any work for this company, if you insist on doing work for them, make sure you file an NTO as soon as possible on all your jobs. It's been months since we worked for them, the bldg we built is already open for business. They will hold your payments as long as possible and when you call to inquire, the person you need to speak with will be "out of the office", "in a meeting" or "will return your call" which will never happen. They will not return emails once you've emailed about a late invoice. Also, no matter what department you ask for.... it's always the same person's name that comes up as if there is only a receptionist and 1 more person that runs the company. Don't ask to speak to the owner because you'll get the same name.... Here is Florida, still waiting on payment... Response to Owner: Statement: "We find that talking to people is much more effective in resolving issues" Response: We feel the same way, that's why we called, email & text for several months before writing any kind of review. I find your statement to be very false... Statement: "you are paid to retention on the one job you did for us- which pays you 100% of what our agreement states that your company signed. Response: I'm looking at our agreement now in front of me and it states "Summit Building Services, LLC or Florida (Contractor) agrees to pay the total sum of ****** Thousand Five Hundred Three Dollars and 50/100 ($**,503.50 Dollars) for the work listed above as specified in the plans and specifications attached hereto and made apart hereof. Contract price includes all sales tax and delivery charges." We have not been paid this amount (Please see our contract for exact amount) Statement: "if you misunderstood the agreement we had but also expect that the companies we hire and execute our agreements understand them" Response: Please tell me which paragraph st

  were sorry you feel that way, we find that talking to people is much more effective in resolving issues, you are paid to retention on the one job you did for us- which pays you 100% of what our agreement states that your company signed. We apologize if you misunderstood the agreement we had but also expect that the companies we hire and execute our agreements understand them, we also assume your company accepted and understood our agreement by the execution of the agreement signed by your company. Regardless, we would like to take care of this matter if you would like to call us.

  Mr Barney, we appreciate you working for us through a 3rd party employment agency but we do not understand why you feel the need to have you and your wife or significant other negatively review our company. We offered to sit down and discuss any issues you have without response from you. Our offer stands. Thank you summit building.

  I am a widow of 19yrs. Since my husband died, twice a business took advantage of me. Being an older woman and widow - I guess they felt empowered to take advantage of me. I am also disabled and it has been very difficult to get into my house. I explored different companies to build a ramp for me, I called Manny Sevastopolus owner of Summit Group Company, after talking to him I knew I could trust him. He always kept me up-to-date on the progress of the ramp and he always returned my calls quickly; working on any concerns I had. If you want a honest,caring, and compassionate contractor its Manny. He built a beautiful and very functional ramp. I'm an attachment of photos of my ramp. Which I'm very proud and greatful for him and his employees. It has allowed me to continue to live in my home and be independent. Manny went above and beyond what he had to. Thank you from the webb family.

  Let me tell you how good God is and how amazing Summit Building Services is... 2 days after finally being able to move back home exactly 438 after our house fire, the hot water heater had a meltdown completely went to trash. Jesus knows I can't afford a bucket to clean up the water much less a new one. Lol Today I received a call today from Summit's Lead (for our project at least) Ron who literally deserves a huge raise and like 4 extra weeks of vacation a year is the sweetest mountain of a man and has the best ideas for saving money while maintaining the look you want) and he says the boss (Nate very professional and down to earth) has bought one for us and he's on his way to install it for us completely free no charge and will be here in 20 min. This company has been an absolute God send... From the minute I realized what a mistake I made with CatRec to now! If anyone needs any construction/renovation projects PLEASE go see them! They are absolutely amazing, have talked with me through all my personal meltdowns during the process and have the biggest hearts. Tyler their finance guy (literally the hottest guy ever with a smile to die for) is an absolute miracle worker when dealing with the insurance companys- was able to get us more money for our home then we ever thought possible and ensuring that we would be able to finish the house and get occupancy. And Emmet the guy behind the scenes (so adorable you just want to bring him home and adopt him) he makes sure you get all the needed paperwork promptly and you are provided with copy's of everything etc. I will forever be greatful and feel absolutely blessed by the hand of God and this amazing company!

  Summit builders replaced the roof on my house in 2020. They did an excellent job, the workers were friendly, and they also did a great job with cleanup. I didn't find a single nail lol. It's been almost 3 years and the roof still looks great. Thanks again Tyler.

  Summit did an excellent job. They explained the work to be done and also answered questions in a timely manner. Communication with the insurance company was handled in a professional way. I highly recommend Summit Building Services.

  We had a new roof and new siding put on by Summit Building, they did a great job. So then we also had an addition to our barn. We absolutely love it! We can’t thank them enough for all of there hard work they did!

  SBS restored the original wood siding and trim on my house in plainwell that was built in the 1860s. Their attention to detail and quality was outstanding and the house looks great! They actually ended going back over previous work that had been done by another contractor and corrected. I would high recommend them and would use them again in future.
