  This company lacks good salespeople. Mr. Daniel Maldonado is only interested in receiving 100% of the money and doesn't follow up with his clients, fails to deliver, and doesn't send information on time, causing delays. The service is terrible, and there's no one to fix the mess this man makes.

  Malakiah - Thank you for taking the time to express your frustrations with your roofing project. We would like to apologize for the issues that you had with our company. Unfortunately, weather and supply issues from Hurricane Ian affected your project and we apologize for that but there is not much we are able to do in those situations. We understand your frustration with the amount of wood decking needing to be replaced. As I'm sure that our estimator explained, we make no profit on the replacement of the wood decking because we know that it is an unknown expense and feel bad if we ever have to charge for additional work. Unfortunately, your entire roof was covered with a few tarps and that made it difficult for our team to warn you of the amount of work that would be needed. As we had discussed, your existing roof decking was extremely thin and badly damaged so it was dangerous for us to work on - and we honestly probably would have abstained from the job had we known how bad of shape the deck was in. We have receipts and pictures of all of the wood that was purchased and used on your home, but I believe that we have already cleared that up at this time. There has been no change in ownership or operation since our inception. We still strive to do our absolute best for our clients, but unfortunately we sometimes fall short of expectations. Again, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am sorry that it was not ideal, but I hope that you enjoy your new roof.

  Alex - Thank you for taking the time to express your frustrations with our company. Although we installed your roof for the previous owner and have no contract or warranty with you, we have still sent out our people to make sure your water issue was not a result of our workmanship. Please understand that when Hurricane Ian came through our area it brought a lot of wind driven rain that caused water to intrude in areas it normally would not enter in a home. We were told that the water leak or ceiling issue happened during the hurricane. Once our repair technician explained that any wind driven rain water intrusion would most likely not be covered by our general warranty but that we would still try to help, we were then told that the leak happened weeks earlier even though we were never contacted. We suggested that it might be best to wait until a normal rain to see if there is still a water leak and that we would happily come back if there was an issue. However, you were unhappy with that advice, threatened our staff and then had someone call us claiming to be your attorney. Once we have been threatened with legal action, we are unable to proceed with any further courtesy inspections, repair work or communication that is not through our attorney.

  First and foremost, I would like to apologize for our lack of communication about the permit status on your roof. We are very sorry that we did not communicate with you as often as you would have preferred and that is our fault. We appreciate you taking the time to express your frustrations with our company as this will help us continue to grow and improve. With the permit inspection process, we are at the mercy of the county/city and their inspectors. If the inspector fails to make their inspection, then it is our job to provide them with pictures. The inspector did not state that our materials were out of code, but that we did not provide enough pictures to his satisfaction in order for him to sign off that the drip edge or flashing was installed to code. We have provided additional pictures along with a certified engineer letter in order to have this permit closed out and approved. Additionally, we should have followed up with the engineer much sooner to get this done faster. As to the over charges, we are one of the few companies that I am aware of that do not make a profit on any of our additional wood replacement. This is an unfortunate part of the roof construction process as we do not know how much wood will be required to be replaced until the existing roof is removed. Our records show an initial estimate of $16,650 and a final bill of $17,130(only $480 of wood replacement costs opposed to the $994.96 stated). Feel free to give our office a call if there is any confusion on your final invoice. Again, we apologize for your inconvenience and thank you for your review as it will help us grow as a company that strives to put our customers first.

  Ms. Sellers - thank you so much for your feedback. Your name was not listed in our system, but after speaking with our office I believe that we figured out which project you are referring to. First of all, we are happy to hear that you were satisfied with the majority of the work on your roof installation. The repair to the skylight was completed on September 1st and the ceiling repair was completed on September 8th. The owner asked us to wait to have the ceiling repaired to make sure the repair was done correctly and no further water damage occurred. We apologize if there seemed to be a lack of communication as the contact we normally use for ceiling repairs unfortunately decided to not return our calls or reach out to the owner immediately so we had our repair team take care of the ceiling fairly quickly. Please let us know if we are referring to the wrong situation and as we do not have you listed as a client in our system. We are more than happy to help if you still have any issues.

  I doubt with Caleb. Only over the phone because I am not living in the home that they actually did the work. However it was done in a day. And you could not even tell that they were there. Everybody has been so friendly and prompt with responses. I would recommend stronghold roofing for anybody's roofing needs in the future.

  Stronghold was great! Jimmy and the team really did an excellent job start to finish.
