  To start hammering on roofs at 6:50 am on a Saturday morning is pretty ridiculous. Understand you are running a business and trying to make money, but you absolutely should have some common courtesy for others.

  Turns out we have a leak around a vent. That was determined by someone who actually went on our roof and in our attic a 125.00 fix! K.L. Gave us a bid based on what they saw on google earth..2500-2800 dollars!!!! Thankfully we had a second opinion! BEWARE- and Have someone else out before you hire these guys!!!!

  Im sorry, your experience with us was not favorable, but we do not "fix", "band-aid", or "patch" roofs. We repair roofs thoroughly and guarantee our work. You may be selling your house and only want temporary patch, but we have a reputation to maintain and will only do things the right way or not at all. It would be unethical for us to knowingly temporarily patch a roof and set up a new buyer for a major repair issue, or create additional stress and cost to you by not doing the proper repair the first time. Please call if you have any other questions on the scope and price for your repair.

  There was one custom window that had to be reordered due to a manufacturer's defect, delaying the project. Other delays were caused by your work schedule. The job was completed with a full warranty. A lien notice is a formality for unpaid invoices.

  After having them fix a leak it rained..... and its still leaking. I sent video and photos and they still didn't come back out. They said they did there job what more could they do...ummm you could fix the leak like I paid for. It's been a year and it still leaks. 900 $ just gone.

  I used them in the past and had a fair experience. But right before Irma, KL Smith gave me a quote for a leak in my roof. After Irma, they scheduled a crew to come out on October 2nd. When they arrived, I could see they thought it was more work than their paperwork showed. They seemed to get started, but after about 30 minutes, they left without letting me know why. After two calls with no return call, someone showed up to explain they left because they believed the problem was the siding on the house and not the roof at all. I knew this was not the case (except for a small piece of siding under a window) because before Irma, I had the roof tarped in that roof location and it resolved the leak. The person that showed up after my multiple calls said he tried to ring my doorbells the day they left but I was right in the living room and was shocked to see that they left, didn't try to reach me, and didn't return my calls. I think the owner would be shocked to know about this and how fast word will spread of this unprofessional approach.

  We are the same fair company you dealt with in the past and we had the same issue before with you not answering your door. As we discussed, we believe you need a siding contractor and possibly have your doorbell inspected.

  We were very pleased with the work KL Smith performed on our roof. We also felt like the went above and beyond the scope of work and the men on the job seemed to really care about the finished product.

  I have had the pleasure of working with K.L. Smith Roofing not only personally for my home, but for work in a general contracting firm professionally. They are an outstanding company. I recently noticed a leak in my roof over the patio after a harsh rain storm. I contacted K.L. Smith and they came out very quickly. After inspecting the leak and roof area, a piece of flashing had lifted up from wind. They did a quick repair free of charge (my roof is out of warranty). I appreciate their professionalism and would not hesitate to refer them to my family and friends.

  KL Smith put my roof on an about 12 years ago and did an amazing job. I had a couple spots that a squirrel messed up and gave Ryan a call and he came by took care of it and did a great job. I would highly recommend them if you care about things being done right.

  One word, OUTSTANDING From the time Ryan came to our house, until he collected payment, first class. We have a large roof (3 separate buildings). When it was our turn, 11 roofers plus a Forman arrived. Unbelievable coronation on every aspect. Ryan suggested many ways to improve air flow (extra vents) and removing old skylights. Other roofers bid our house. Some came out to see roof, others just sent a quote via email. Never understood those quotes. We 100% recommend K.L. Smith, Roofing Experts.
