I would not hire Steves Roofing to put a roof on one of my chicken coops. The work was fine, although it was done by another company. However, in every other part of the process, Steve's roofing was a huge dissapointment. The work was delayed twice, and I waited a whole day for the work to start with no attempt made to contact me. That is not the real issue however. After work was finished I recieved a statement for additional costs for a small piece of roof that was not in the original estimate. The added cost was an additional 30% above the original cost and I was asked to pay $65 per each 2 foot segment of board used. I feel that this amounts to deceptive business practice, as it is contrary to their own written communications. It anyone decides to use this business, I would be sure that the contract provided is detailed to avoid adding significant charges after work is completed. I would not suggest that anyone use this company.

Should have paid attention to other comments on here and Yelp. They are rude and unprofessional. You would think the owner would be concerned about his business reputation. He is not. There are other options in Bloomington and I will give my money to a company that is able to act in a professional manner. One of the worst interactions I have had with a company. They clearly do not want the business or money.

My sister-in-law was sold a defective product with defective installation. She had to pay 2/3 before work began, then noticed it looked different than the metal roof on her garage. She mentioned it and they stopped work, no refund

I am a repeat customer of Steve's Roofing. Over the years, they have installed metal roofing, gutters, and no-clog gutter shields on our house and detached building. Their craftsmanship is top-shelf, and their work ethic is remarkable. For these reasons and more, they are in high demand and very busy. So get on their schedule early.

When other company who put on my roof were unresponsive when I needed an inspection, Steve's made an appointment immediately, arrived on time, and did quick, professional work. Friendly and understood my issues. Strong recommendation.

They do commercial and residential. They have amazing customer service and are one of few contractors who can install metal roofs with no leaks. We hired them for a giant project for a wearhouse in Plainfield indiana and they did amazing in every aspect.

We had a great experience with Steve’s roofing when we had to have our roof replaced. They were very prompt about getting us a quote, and their professionalism was top notch and it was very quick and efficient once they started putting the roof on. I would definitely use them again.
