  We hired this company to do some siding repairs. They missed about half the repairs the first time and returned to get the spots they missed. They never did the top piece which I specifically mentioned every time I spoke with them and they said that unfortunately it was a different employee who gave me the quote and they didn’t include it in the price. The employee who gave me that quote is still working there. I shared a screenshot of them saying that on their facebook page and they blocked me. Nothing about “wasps and muddobbers was ever mentioned. If they had told me they were not qualified to do the job in the first place I never would’ve hired them. I would definitely hire a different company.

We feel we have completed the full scope of work that was presented to you in our estimate including coming back to do some additional siding repairs. As was explained to you, your top row of siding has a large infestation of mud dobbers and wasps which is why the siding will not lay flat. I hope this helps clarify the problems.

  Koontz Construction came to fix a small problem with my roof. The guy said he had repaired it, but the problem persisted. They returned to take care of it and I paid them. But the problem continued to persist and I called their office and left a message to that effect; I never heard back.

  Company does sub par work, as they damaged my roof so now i have a leak. When talking with them they said they would get it on the schedule to fix the issue. Never showed up, never contacted us. When i contacted them they claim they never did any work on my house. I wanted to know why they took $6000 and when they would do the work they said they did not do. Now they lie about me agreeing they did not damage my house, and that i cussed them out. Would go lower then 1 star but not possible. Since they lie they can not be trusted for any work. I have the audio of the conversation where they say i cussed them out to prove they are lying.

  Mr Whiteside it is unfortunate you feel this way. We do continue to stand behind our statement that the leak caused by the bad flashing installation is not a result of any work we did and was not something we were contracted to repair. We also are quite clear that you used profanity when you called our office manager.

  They subcontracted our gutter work to another company who did shoddy work, didn't finish what we wanted, and screwed up the install so bad I have a big water leak in my ceiling with some damage. (No reduction in cost, of course!) Koontz's response every time we called to complain? Not their problem, talk to the other company. When we finally demanded Koontz honor their warranty, they said they'd fix the flashing. That was a few weeks ago and judging by the water pouring from my bathroom ceiling tonight, they lied about that too. Tomorrow I'm contacting the BBB.

  I am sorry you guys have not been satisfied with our service. As we discussed on the phone, the issue that is leaking has nothing to do with the gutter work we performed. As we pointed out to your husband, and he agreed, the leak is the result of poor flashing details at the roof-siding intersection. We were not contracted to do any roof repairs at all. We were prepared to submit a proposal for that work until Mr Whiteside called our office and yelled at our office manager including very inappropriate language. At that time we considered it best to no longer do business together. I will state again that we have performed all work we were contracted to do.

  After calling 2 different roofing companies and not getting anywhere, I called Koontz. They immediately got me on the schedule. When Adam (estimator) came out he went above and beyond to ensure my roof was in top shape. He was, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I should have called Koontz first, I won't make that mistake again.

  We just had Koontz replace our roof and gutters. We couldn’t be happier. I was particular in what I was looking for in a roof replacement and I’m happy they use a premium product in Malarkey. The crews have been great. Communication has been great. Highly recommend!

  Koontz construction replaced all 6 of my windows in my condo. They were not standard size and offered multiple options for replacement windows. There was a hiccup with the manufacturer building the wrong window, but Koontz communicated that with me and got the installation perfect in the end. They cleaned up great and made clear what was happening. It took 3 days in total, which was expected (with the last window being built). All the crews were wonderful and they were very polite and great to talk to! I am incredibly happy with their great work and it was worth the upgrade! I can already tell the difference temperature wise and I am extremely excited to open them in the spring / summer. I highly recommend them for window replacements!!!

  We recently hired Koontz to fulfill our new vision for our 1980s modern ranch, and we could not be more pleased with the results. Ricardo met with us several times on site and listened carefully to understand the look we wanted to achieve. He answered our many questions professionally and was patient as we made our material choices and requested changes after seeing his mockups of the project. Once we had our plan together, Brandon took charge of organizing the subs who would do the heavy construction and siding replacement. He shared a detailed list of what we should expect during the project and how to prepare our home for the coming weeks of construction. With the exception of a few unexpected delays due to weather, his timeline was spot on. Once our materials arrived, phenomenal construction team of Adam, Adam, and JD arrived to install our new windows and front door. They were always respectful of our home and ran a safe and clean jobsite. We are so pleased with the new windows and door, and how those changes improved the curb appeal of our home. Next the five members of the siding crew began the next phase of the project by replacing our existing siding with stone veneer and new siding. Each morning, they arrived on time and worked in a speedy, but careful efficient manner. They followed our complex siding plan to the letter, and we cannot stress enough their attention to detail and the pride they took in making our home look its best. When we asked for a change (a support post needed to be wrapped), Brandon and the team accommodated our request without hesitation. The gutter team built our new gutters onsite and installed them so quickly, we barely knew they were on the jobsite. When we were curious about how they built the gutters, they were kind enough to take the time to show us how their siding break worked.   These guys are top notch! They did a new build siding and stone job for me. They went above and beyond to meet the schedule dates and did a fantastic job. Kudos to your team. They cleaned up job site every day before they left. It is hard to find a business with this type of integrity.

  I loved meeting with Phillip to determine the best fix for my problem. He was knowledgeable and professional. The estimate was reasonable and the work completed thoroughly. I have used Koontz in the past and each time I have the same opinion, they are the best around!
