  Unprofessional and bad communication. Don't trust this company and be careful with a hidden fees. Saler did not telling you anything until you signed it then after that you must pay more for what you need.

Our contract clearly states that required permits are the homeowner’s responsibility, and our permit department sends written communication outlining those fees during the process. These charges are set by the local municipality and are billed at their true value — we do not mark them up. That said, we understand how additional costs can feel frustrating. We are reviewing and updating our internal processes to improve how important items like permits are communicated moving forward. We have worked to be straightforward throughout your project.   State Roofing sent me this link for a review. So here it goes. State roofing will get a 2 star review from me. My wife's review will be the 1 star. The Worst Roof Ever. Why 2 stars? State roofing was a joy to deal with. They came out and fixed this issue in jiffy. It took 15 min. Thank you State Roofing. The Worst Roof Ever. It wasn't raining the day they finished installing my roof, a little more than a year ago, but if it was raining, it would be leaking. The Worst Roof Ever. You might ask? What exactly went wrong? It was just a rubber boot on one of the vents that was cut just a little large. A simple workmanship overlook. The Worst Roof Ever. It leaked for two wet seasons. Apparently, I needed to crawl thru my attic to check for water after installation of my brand-new roof. It just took two seasons to seep thru my ceiling. The contract we sign covers fixing the roof under warranty. Water damage is all on you as the customer. The Worst Roof Ever. My wife thinks we were scammed. She will be using terms like Scam Likely. I do not agree, but we definitely got screwed by State Roofings final product. The Worst Roof Ever. Our last roof lasted 35 years. I'm going to spend a couple grand fixing water damage from my roof that is less than 2 years old installed by State Roofing. The Worst Roof Ever.   State Roof did not honor the warranty on a roof they installed in November 2023 because there was a change in home owner. I currently have an active roof leak and they did not return my phone call within 24 hours of reaching out. *Update - State Roof scheduled a technician for 0900 tomorrow. *Update #2 (24JAN26) - The first technician noticed that tape on the rubber seal was not removed when the skylight was installed. He removed it and about 3-weeks later it started to leak again when we had heavy rain. State Roof scheduled another technician to look over it and confirmed that the flashing around the skylight was improperly installed. We would need to remove the step flashing, install a new water/ice shield, and install all new flashing and shingles around the skylight. State Roof quoted me just under $2k to fix it after they were the company who improperly installed it.

  Do your homework before you think about hiring them. They sent a subcontractor to do ours and didn’t tell us that they were. We now have a leaking roof. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!

  Please do not hire this company. They do not honor promises made by their salesman. They overcharge. They do not stand behind the companies they contract with, that do damage to your home. If they get angry with you they will throw a tarp over your roof and pull everyone off the job for 10 days. I have never had a worse experience with a contractor. Beware!

  Very unprofessional. Booked an appointment to get a quote for a roof repair and they never showed up. I had to call them to check-in. They said the PM would call me but never did. Had to call back and then they told me they won't make it after waiting for over 30mins.

  Our decision to engage State Roofing was based explicitly on the representation made by sales associate Greg and heavily advertised via their television commercials regarding a "2-year, no-interest financing" offer. Upon reviewing the account details, we discovered that interest was applied and charged from the inception of the contract. This constitutes a clear case of unacceptable and deceptive business practice. The discrepancy between the advertised, contracted financing terms and the actual account charges is not a mere error; it is a fundamental violation of consumer trust. Future customers should be acutely aware of this documented discrepancy in financing terms.

  Every contact at State Roofing was personable and informative, friendly and helpful. From the estimator to the crew, they showed up on time and ready to work. I misinterpreted a couple issues, so called. I was amazed how fast they came out and fixed them. They left zero mess behind and my new roof looks great.

  Bid was low, additional cost occurred due to unforseen rotten wood detected. Roofing crew was great, communicated there findings and repairs that would be required. Over all experience with State Roofing was great. The Roofing crew and lead Jonathan, did an exceptional replacement and cleanup.   I had the roof replaced by state roofing the price was with in my budget, they did a super great job and finished the job with a great clean up as well as a great looking Roof. strongly would give this company a call if you want the best deal, workmen ship and service after the job is done.

  A tree branch fell on part of my roof during a storm, and I needed emergency help. They came out the same day and secured the damaged area so no further water could get in. The permanent repair happened a couple of days later after materials were arranged. I liked that they didn’t rush the final fix just to close the job. One downside was a bit of debris left near the backyard, but they returned later to clean it up after I pointed it out.
