  I was quoted a price with certain repairs listed. All the repairs in the quote were not completed. As explained to me by the installer. I called the sales person about the issue. He informed me that the billing invoice would be adjusted to a lower price because of not using the materials and installation time. That was not accomplished, i received an email stating that the bill was now late and due. Without any consideration that I contacted the salesman and their office by phone prior to the threats. So I paid the less than satisfying payment, completely. I will not have the roof replacement we discussed for next year, nor will I ever recommend your business to anyone. I have been offended by a company who does treat the customer in an honorable way !!!

  I'm leaving this 1 star review for what I've observed happening at my neighbors' house and now because of a personal issue that happened today. Starting approximately 1 year ago, Guardian Roofing has been "caring" for my neighbors' roof. They own a beautiful, well kept property in South Tacoma but the first time I saw Guardian Roofing out there, they were PRESSURE WASHING the asphalt roofing tiles. I was concerned and spoke to the neighbor but they said that the company they hired were professionals and that they trusted that they knew how to clean a roof. I also did my own Google search and found that it is basically NEVER a good idea to pressure wash asphalt roofing tiles. It was especially concerning to me because I could clearly see them pressure washing against how the tiles lay, and I could even see the tiles lifting up in places. I'm sure this caused their water to get into the wood below the tiles. Since then, Guardian Roofing has been out a shocking amount of times for what I can only guess is their "maintenance plan" which included pressure washing the roof at least one other time. Now, Guardian Roofing has dropped off new roof supplies days ago, early enough in the morning to interrupt my young son's sleep with their annoyingly loud truck and has since left the supplies sitting obnoxiously on the roof, I'm assuming, waiting for a crew to have time to install it. Today, after another crew came and went, they had a team member go door to door, hanging door hangers on all of my other neighbors' properties, including ours, as if none of us had not already been disturbed enough by their presence. I wasn't going to leave this review because honestly, if my neighbor wants to waste their money on being swindled and not take advice from a simple Google search, who am I to argue with them and cause neighborhood drama, but after the door hanging incident I'm seriously done with this company. I would never, ever consider hiring Guardian Roofing to "care" for my roof,

  We have worked with guardian on multiple occasions to resolve a roof leak. Guardian has diagnosed and fixed two large dollar items on the roof only to have the leak continue in the same area. Most recently we have had extremely poor communication and documentation from guardian resulting in an estimate that did not reflect the necessary components of what was needed in a repair. Now we’ve waited two weeks, with multiple calls to guardian, without getting an estimate, email, or call back. Extremely poor customer service.

  After initial contact requesting a moss killer application only and specifically clarifying no cleaning or inspection. They asked to schedule an appointment for 9:00am on a Tuesday. When the service tech arrived he stated that they only offer a cleaning service and would not only apply Mossicide to the roof. So after taking time off, I now have to find another contractor and take another day off. This kind of bait and switch is a common scam.

  Very dissatisfied with their service. When Richard came out to give us an estimate on the job, he said the roof would be power washed and chemicals put on roof. The guy came to do the roof and all he did was dry blow off the roof. We are left with moss still on our roof and no chemical. Charged over $500.00. Will never recommend this company to anyone. Very disappointed in the company. Jim

  I paid a very premium price for a job that was just OK. The roof was completed first, they stepped the ceiling drywall, which cracked. They repaired the ceiling themselves (which now looks "DIY", so now need to get a painter to hide the sore spot). The chimney caps were supposed to be painted black. One of them wasn't. They saw through the roof to jump into the attic and the garage to access the roof vents (in the garage, it would have been much easier to ask me to open the garage door). The roof seem to have been correctly done. Unfortunately, the materials they used isn't installed in an insect-proof way, so I will have to get another person to do that part of the work. The insulation was done after the roof was finished, which meant reopening the roof and closing it back. They stapled cardboard on top of the access trapdoor to the attic, and I broke the trapdoor board when trying to reopen the access. They only replaced the insulation from the attic, there is a recess in the ceiling to go to the skylight, and they did not replace the insulation around it. The thermal camera shows that there are temperature anomalies in some areas, so the result is potentially worse that it previously was. On top of that, communication was fairly spotty. Again, I was expecting a premium service for the premium price I paid. And it wasn't.

  I hired Guardian Roofing to replace some old downspouts and they ended up enlarging the scuppers on the roof and doing a bit of troubleshooting regarding drainage and I appreciated their out-of-the-box thinking. Definitely 5 Stars for good service!

  There was some communication difficulties at the beginning. But the work was completed as prescribed as far as I can tell from the ground. Good clean up and documentation of work. Guardian was responsive to my questions. Happy at the end of the day.l would say 4 and 1/2 stars but I'll round up as that isn't an option.
