Dear Brad, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and regret that we did not meet your expectations during the consultation. We take punctuality and professionalism very seriously, and we apologize for the delay and any miscommunication that occurred. It’s never our intention to inconvenience or mislead our clients, and we will review this situation internally to ensure it is addressed properly. Regarding the pricing of the project, we understand that every customer has a unique perspective and budget. Our estimates reflect high-quality, custom-designed structures using premium materials and licensed labor, tailored to meet local codes and long-term durability—not prefabricated kits. That said, we always welcome open discussion and feedback to find the right solution within a client’s budget range. We also sincerely regret if any aspect of our team member’s appearance or demeanor came off as unprofessional. That is not the image we aim to project. While we clearly missed the mark in your case, we appreciate your comments and the opportunity to learn from them. We wish you the best with your project and hope it turns out exactly as you envision.

After the main roof of our screened porch blew off from a recent windstorm, Ruslan and his team came out and replaced the polycarbonate roof with a thicker acrylic one. The old roof had begun to leak where it was screwed into the rafters, whereas the new panels are fitted into a metal frame-so no holes for possible leaks to develop. And after a recent rain, the porch was completely dry. If you want an honest, straightforward company to work with, Star Construction is an excellent choice.

We have had an excellent experience with the Star Construction WA installation team. They were on time, courteous and very professional. The new retractable screens fit our house perfectly and add to the appearance of our home and are constructed of high quality materials. We love our new retractable screens and the fact that the house now has an extra “new” enclosed area.

Ruslan and his team were incredible and I would definitely recommend working with them to help create your perfect customized outdoor oasis! I did a ton of research before choosing to go with them and couldn’t be happier with my decision. While there are many pergolas and awnings available online and through other companies, they worked unlike any others, making my awning to maximize my space and needs. They installed added posts (so I could later install a door) and filled in the top angled corners with the acrylic sheets so I could double my awning as a glorified Catio. I love the motorized shades that give added privacy, block the weather when needed (a must in Seattle), and allow me to raise just a little for air-flow or all the way when I want open air enjoyment of my new outdoor space. As you’ll see from pics, I did some modifications on my awning - installed the door, attached 1x1 steel sheet metal, and installed custom bar/counters all to their posts - I took care to minimize how many holes I drilled but it didn’t affect the integrity of their well- constructed and durable aluminum posts. Thank you Star!!

I had an excellent experience working with Ruslan and his team. They were exactly on schedule and even managed to address some problems that cropped up during the install. His follow ups post install were great and I would high recommend Star Constructions to anyone.

Hello Rohan, Thank you so much for taking time to write a review for us and to share your experience working with us. We really appreciate your feedback and we look forward to serving you in the future.

Star Construction WA just finished up these motorized solar shades on a covered Seattle balcony. Push a button and they drop down to kill the glare and block UV without shutting out the view or the breeze. Leave them up and you've got an open deck under that cedar ceiling. Drop them and it's a shady spot to actually sit in on a hot afternoon. The dark fabric looks sharp against the black railing too. Thinking about shades for your patio or deck? Give us a shout.Jun 16, 2026Call now
