  I haven’t hired this service and after this morning I never will. If I’m ever asked by my customers for a roofing referral I will never recommend cornerstone roofing after one of their trucks tried running me and my daughter off the road. 10 years of driving as a contractor and I’ve never experienced this level of reckless aggression on the road. Truly unprofessional

We take the safety of our drivers and the safety of those around us on the road very seriously as our drivers commute to the jobsites where we install roofs. Each of our drivers go through extensive safety training and safety procedures in order to become an authorized, insured driver with our company. We are a small, family owned and operated business that has been doing business in King and Snohomish counties for over 30 years. Over those 30 years, it is extremely important to us that our drivers get to/ from our jobsites and home to their families safely every day, and to make the experience for anyone around them on the road a safe and secure one. Your comment is not indicative of the experience that our customers regularly speak to regarding our drivers. With that, while your comments are not regarding our roofing installation workmanship, they are equally important to us as we would not want anyone on the road to experience anything different from that.   My experience with Cornerstone Roofing was an absolute disaster, and not only would I never recommend them, I would actively try to persuade friends and family to never hire this company for any roofing work. My experience has been awful and I wish this company had never done any roofing on our house. I would give them zero stars if I could. In my view, they were evasive and not willing to stand by their work. Beware.

  Cornerstone Roofing replaced the shingles for the prior owner in 2019. Mr. Peterson was not our client at the time, but has since purchased the house from Cornerstone's client. In May of 2021, Mr. Peterson contacted us about water coming in through the ceiling. We investigated and determined this to be a condensation issue where insulation had at some point been pushed in between the rafter bays at the cathedral ceiling portion of the roof thereby not allowing air to flow properly and causing the condensation. This issue was not brought up by our client when the roof was replaced, so we did not pull up the roof decking to inspect the insulation as that was not part of our scope of work. We also noted in our inspection that a significant remodel had been done by others on the house which involved tearing up and subsequently tying into a large portion of the roof we installed in 2019. We do not know who did the new work, nor did Mr. Peterson let us know, but we suggested he approach that contractor to address the insulation issue in case their work included any insulation work in the affected area. We do not know if Mr. Peterson ever contacted them. Our contract clearly states that our warranty is void if someone other than us performs roofing work on the house during our warranty period. Further, the material manufacturer's warranty is void if they are not notified of any remodel work on the roof after our work is complete. We do this because of situations just like this where someone else has changed our work, and the homeowner is now experiencing problems. A survey of our many reviews on this platform will show that Cornerstone has a very good reputation of standing by our work. However in this case we were asked to do repairs to Mr. Peterson's roof at our cost for work we did not do. We strongly recommended to Mr. Peterson, and continue to do so, that he talk to the contractor that did the remodel work and have them correct their deficiency under their workm

  It is the worst experience we ever had for any kind of home remodeling. We replaced the new roof. The work around skylight caused the interior damage with visible water and nail damage. The company hired an 83-year handy man to fix the drywall and do the pain job. He has climb up 24 ft to reach the skylight. It is my understanding that he is not bond or insured. We were so concern about his safety. The work is not up to the standard and they are so visible. We were not satisfied with the drywall and paint. Since it is late, we don't want him to fix another places. The project manager came and blamed that we "forced handyman" to fix the area that were not damaged by roof installation. It is so unprofessional and the attitude is inappropriate. The work assignment is agreed between the project manager and handyman. We have no idea of how had we "forced" handyman. We will have to hire other company to clean up the mess.

  Cornerstone Roofing is committed to completing our projects and taking responsibility for any interior damage caused by our roofing work. Unfortunately in this case, the client asked several times for us to perform repairs on their home for free that had nothing to do with our roofing work. When we would explain that the issues were not caused by our work, they would become increasingly upset. In the end, we did repair an area of drywall where a screw penetrated, but did not repair the areas of interior wear and tear that were not caused by our work. We have continued to reach out to the client in an effort to explain and recommend qualified home repair firms to them, but they now refuse to take our calls.

  I had a very very bad experience with Cornerstone Roofing. My roof was done by them with so many mistakes. Brand new roof leaked in under 3 years. When I had a roofing inspector come and inspect my roof, he saw a lot of mistakes and poor workmanship. First I ordered the very best shingles and what I received was the middle grade shingles. Second all my flashing was not nailed down correctly. come to find out they used the wrong nails. on one part of my roof there is three ply of material and then on the other side there is about seven ply of material but the funny thing is there is no fire and ice paper that was laid down, even though I ordered that as well. So, they all run into the area where the flashing is coming up and towards the area where it still leaks. With so many mistakes and the short cuts they tried to take, I would avoid using them at all cost. I hope this helps someone else out there. I wouldn't want any of you to go through what I went through....

  This company is true the most DISHONEST company I have ever dealt with. They replaced a roof with poor quality work, short cut the job. Come to find out, the work was so poorly done it leaked shortly after the roof was completed and the work was subcontracted work. BEWARE of this company Corner Stone! My suggestion to anyone who has gotten their roof done by this company should get a Roof inspection by a third party. You will sleep better at night if you get a your roof inspected. Dont wait for a leak a few years later, Your money will be well spent on an inspector now. Sign- consumer against dishonest companies.

  I was highly impressed with the Cornerstone Roofing team from start to finish! I reached out to about 7 different local roofing companies – including Cornerstone – for bids on a full roof replacement project. Big shout-out to Mike Little, our Cornerstone estimator, who provided us with all the details we needed to review multiple quotes and make an informed decision on next steps. I never felt any pressure to choose Cornerstone (unlike with some other roofing companies), but we ultimately went with them because their pricing, scope of work, customer service, and responsiveness over email/phone calls were all exceptional and stood above their competition. They replaced our whole roof, installed some new sheathing, updated a skylight, improved our venting system, and did a magnetic sweep of the property before they left at project completion. The crew worked hard, interacted with us kindly, cleaned up after themselves, and finished the project in 2 days. They were prompt the whole way through! They also checked in with me on a couple occasions to make sure everything was progressing as desired and to give me a run-down of the updated price estimate before they installed new sheathing. Big shout-out to Vicente and his crew, along with Jim and Diego, for all the great work, for keeping the project on track, for communicating so professionally along the way, and for the helpful QC checks at the end of the week. The new roof looks great, and I'd 100% recommend Cornerstone to anyone else considering roof work. They'll be at the top of my list for any future roofing needs, too! UPDATE TO PRIOR REVIEW: I also wanted to give a special shout-out to Kristy for all her help with permit-related documentation for this roof update! She was exceptionally communicative and responsive over phone and email, and professionally and kindly answered all of my many questions along the way.   I arranged for six bids from reputable contractors. Cornerstone explained why I needed sheathing atop my 1949 shiplap, how a CertainTeed roof system works, why ridge vents aren't right for the tiny ridges on hipped roofs. The whole team was stellar in speedily tearing off and rebuilding my roof system in a day and a half. I could not be happier with the entire process.

  I’m so glad we found Cornerstone. They run a tight ship. Every person we dealt with (Michael Little, Jack, crew, inspector, Pete Sullivan, billing) was so professional, courteous, and coordinated. Very impressed with the operation—a dream to work with. I especially want to call out Michael’s patience with us and all our questions in the sales process. We felt he never pressured us and always advised based on what he would do if it were his own home. We felt like we could trust him. I would recommend Cornerstone to anyone for shingle roof replacement!!!

  We had our roof done almost 10 years ago and it’s has been great. They were very helpful with repairing a section after a tree fell last year and were right around the cost of other bids. All of the staff are friendly, courteous, and the workers are skilled craftsmen.
