They were hired to do the roof at my Condo association. They were told by my HOA rep not to block the accessible parking spot or ramp so I have access to my home, also they are disabled spots and shouldn't be used for construction anyway. …

This condo association had several roofs replaced. This individual and all other residents were informed that the handicapped parking spots were going to be inaccessible for one day during each roof installation. This was unavoidable due to the layout of the parking and design of the buildings. The story of the truck blocking the ramp is simply false. The truck was not blocking the spot, it was parked close while unloading equipment. Noone spoke to them about their parking. If David had simply driven past the truck, turned around and come back he would have been able to park. Instead he sat honking for less than a minute, while refusing to roll down his windows to communicate. My installer was over 100 feet away and the time it took him to walk to his truck and move it was all the time David had to wait. David was most certainly informed by the HOA that his vehicle was to be parked across the parking lot and out of the way. He uses an electric wheelchair, we kept a clean and open path for him to access the parking area, and the total burden placed upon him would be to drive his wheelchair an additional 25 feet. David considered this to be excessive and his vehicle was parked in the middle of our work area for the duration of the install of the roof of the building he resides in. Notably it did not move for the duration of that install. He refused to answer phone calls and knocks at his door, forcing my crew to spend a few additional hours hand carrying materials that would have been loaded directly into the dumpster had his vehicle been moved. There were no delays in the project, it was finished more than a week earlier than projected.

Charge $250 just to do an estimate

You must be mistaking us for someone else. All of our estimates are free and always have been.

Communication was horrible. This job was a rush job and it appears that the company and the sub-contractors that were hired didn't care. There were several things that weren't done and/or replaced that I had to contact the project manager about to include two windows that were apparently left off of the estimate to be wrapped that St. Louis Roofing & Interiors inspector has marked as damaged and to be included in repairs. The sub-contractors didn't respect my property and my neighbor property I had to tell them to pick up nails and clean up after they removed the siding, gutters, etc. Sub-contractors didn't do a good clean up job so I had to go back behind them and clean up. Pictures and well written instructions were not shared with the sub-contractors of what is to be replaced and where the items that were removed should go back since this wasn't done the sub-contractors had to come back out to my house several times. Materials that were left over were left in my driveway without communication to me if I will be reimbursed for materials that weren't used or if I can get rid of it as to my discretion. As of today, Wednesday, July 24, 2024 I haven't heard anything from the company in regard to this so I had to rent a storage unit and pay someone to move the left over materials out of my driveway and into the storage for me along with I had to break down a large box and put in my recycle bin to be picked up with my trash. Now I have to pay someone to remove the pallet out of my driveway so I can start back parking inside of my garage. This has been one of the most unpleasant experiences that I had with getting work done to my house and I wouldn't recommend this company. This customer had several complaints that we tried to address. The siding was paid by an insurance claim. She stated that the siding looking “slapped on”, but when we went to meet her she could not point to any particular detail that was an issue except the dripedge on her roof. Another roofer had recently replaced her roof but failed to install new dripedge, and next to her brand new siding it looked very rough. We replaced it for her for free, and she never did understand or believe that it wasn’t our responsibility or part of our siding contract. Once this occurred she became unreasonable and demanded we do several things that were outside of our contract and not covered by her insurance claim. We replaced two window wraps that were not covered by her insurance at no cost. This was unacceptable to her. She took our extra materials from the job claiming she owned them, as she posted above, when our contract clearly states that our normal protocol is to order extra material in the event it’s needed to avoid slowdowns. When that portion of the contract was pointed out to her we had to go collect them from the storage unit she moved them to. I believe I upset her when I informed her that roofer hadn’t properly done the job, and after that point she decided to stay upset, regardless of free work.

Communication is terrible. After getting an estimate and trying to proceed with ta new roof, they just stopped responding. No answers to my text, phone, or email in the past two weeks.

corey was the estimator, awful experience, extremely bad communication, broke scheduled times to come out to inspect roofs, reminded several times over 6 weeks to get quote, finally got him out, never did receive a quote. …

The gentleman that contacted us gave us no instructions other than to evaluate the condition of the roofs and estimate those that needed to be replaced. This was done as requested. Our estimator did miss an appointment due to a problem on another job. He attempted to call and inform the customer that he would miss it, but his call was not answered and not returned until two days later. We have no knowledge of what Frederich Roofing told him so we cannot speak to that claim.

Called around to several places to get several quotes for a new roof. They called, emailed and texted to follow up several times. I emailed and texted back that I was going with a different company and no longer needing their services. Three months later, I'm still getting calls and text messages asking if I have questions on the quote on a monthly basis. I've tried responding to request not to be contacted. If you want to get hounded by them calling way too often after they give you a quote, call these guys.

Hired St. Louis Roofing & Exteriors to put on a new roof for us. The new roof install was fine but in the process of putting on the new roof they damaged our gutter covers and incorrectly reinstalled them resulting in water pouring over the …

We have email correspondence between you and the salesman from 2 years ago where we informed you that your gutter guards were in bad shape and we suggested replacing them. You stated in writing that you wanted to keep them so we did just that. Over 2 years after the job was completed you contacted us about your gutter guards being damaged and we again referred you to the emails mentioned here. If this was our mistake, we would absolutely take responsibility for it, but the fact is they were damaged before work was ever done.

St Louis Roofing did an excellent job - the area they restored was done in an amateur method. Tar covered bricks and aged materials were removed and replaced in a professional way and it looks so much better! Definitely would call them again!

So, so easy to communicate with everyone at St. Louis Roofing & Exteriors. They were very thorough and did a wonderful job. The turnaround from the time I accepted the quote to the time the work was completed was so fast and they did an amazing job with the gutters they put on the house. Grateful for their services!
