  I live in the city and needed some work done on my roof. I called Husley Roofing and was told "we are not currently servicing that area". I find this odd, considering they are located only 5.7 miles from my house.

  This roof replacement has been a nightmare since May, 2025 and is still going on. My roof was old, but not leaking. My insurance agent suggested that I replace it due to its age and I did so preemptively. I met with one of their sales agents and we agreed on the contract. There are so many levels of poor service that occurred that I don't even know where to begin. First off, they subcontracted the job to a crew that could not communicate with me. I have replaced 5 other roofs and there was always a contact or supervisor that I could communicate with if I had questions or any concerns. Secondly, they unnecessarily removed my chimney support, which was original to my historic house, without consulting with me first. The previous roofer left this intact and I have no idea why it was removed. I still don't. They agreed to reinstall it but that has not been done. There were other details of the contract that were not fulfilled: flashing installed improperly and, most importantly, the underlayment was not installed to manufacturer's specifications (please see photos), which will void the warranty on the new shingles. They also charged me for plywood decking replacement, which I believe never happened. I was home for the entirety of the time that the roof was replaced and never did I hear any wood being ripped nor did I ever see a delivery of 10 sheets of plywood or see any plywood on my property. They did not provide any photos of new wood decking being installed and yet I was charged over $600 for this. As I have stated before, I did not have any active leaks in my home and I have a small footprint for a house. Besides the technical issues with the roof replacement, the folks who I spoke with about these issues never reached back out to fix any of these problems. We had a 48 minute conversation on June 4, but I never heard back from them. The only communication that I have received is request for payment.   We replaced everything that was contracted, added extra free flashing that was not included in bid, reach out multiple times with no response. We came back to remove shingles just to show the underlayment you claimed was not there. Also you disputed the first payment after giving us a check. Basically stole from a company that has gone above and beyond contract to cater to you. We reached out today about trying to get everything resolved and you respond with threats and a bad review. Further more we have a rep set up to meet you and you still go this route. Also we can not do any further repairs to chimney until it was tuck pointed by you, we were waiting for you to complete that and reach back out so we could finish the work. But like I said you took the original down payment that was agreed upon to even start work.

  Don’t recommend this company! They parked in front of my driveway and blocked me from leaving my house and my roof wasn’t even being worked on. Highly unprofessional and I called the number on the truck and got told off.

  Contacted Hulsey roofing end of July to schedule a roof inspection. My information was taken, and I was informed that the staff member in charge of scheduling would call me back to confirm a date. There was no follow up, so I called back a few days later. Only when I called back did the office inform me it was scheduled for Sept 4. Two days after the scheduled inspection, I called Hulsey once again because there was no report, email, or updates. The office said an inspection took place, but they were waiting on the inspection notes from the inspector. They said they would call me back in a few days with the report and photos. There was never a call back, email, or update. Three weeks later, I call back (again) to request the report and invoice only to find out that the inspector left the business. While the office staff were apologetic and tried to reschedule the inspection, they blamed the issue on short staffing of roofers when the heart of the issue is the lack of communication and follow up from office staff. Had I not called, I don’t know when they would have informed me that the initial inspection fell through. Really disappointed considering the number of positive reviews.

  Hulsey roofing was referred to us after a fire incident (insurance). the staff is easy to speak with unfortunately, the flat roof they installed had too many dips in it and is spongy. I asked about getting the roof redone but they didn’t want to go through the hassle of placing flat boards down. So they gave us an extra 5 year warranty. Months later the roof is leaking. I’ve sent the company videos and photos through email. Now, I’ll just wait. It took me a day to get in touch with someone at the office.

  Thank you for taking the time to leave us valued feedback. We proudly stand by our work and met with the city inspector to ensure this roof passed all safety standards and surpassed municipal code. Even plywood was supplied at not additional cost to ensure the roof set properly. Unfortunately, until the fire-damaged wall is repaired where it meets the roof, water may continue to enter. The temporary tarp we placed over the hole in your wall was just that - only temporary. We wish you the best of luck in continuing to repair your home.

  Would not recommend had an appointment set up for an estimate to get repairs on my fascia. Called an hour after my appointment time to find out if they were coming was told they could not get a hold of the inspector Jeff. Received a call about 10 minutes later and was told that nobody is coming due to all the storm damage from the storm last week. Well what about your appointments you already had, it's stupid that someone that wants to pay cash gets bumped for insurance jobs due to them being able to make more money what a joke. I guess appointments don't mean anything anymore.

  I did not personally use this company but have a lot to say about a terrible experience with them and one of their contractors working on the house next door to mine. They were unloading roofing tiles at my neighbors home and an employee “threw” a pack of roofing tiles into one of my storm windows. After many calls and texts with someone who worked for the delivery company he said he would be fixing my window. Almost a month has gone by and and it has finally been fixed. But this person here has spent almost 3 hours putting a new storm window in that he initially told me would only take 20 minutes. Also proceeded to ask to come inside my home to use my facilities, I wouldn’t hesitate if this was a company I hired and new was honest, but to emphasize, I did not hire anyone from this company to do work on my home. I have never had such a strange experience in my life and I hope this roofing company finds better contractors.

  Sir, a tarp is a temporary fix. The tarp has been installed for months. We could have already done the roofing repairs but you hired someone else. We would be happy to install another tarp for you but you will need to pay for that service. I'm sorry the raccon chewed up your tarp. The offer still stands. Have a great day!

  We had hail damage on our Roof and State Farm said we did not have any hail damage. Hulsey Roofing was instrumental in getting us approved after 2 appeals when other roofing companies would not even try. I have no doubt if it were not for our salesman Jeff, we would never have been approved. Hulsey then did an Awesome job replacing our Roof, quickly with no issues and at a very competitive price. We liked them so much we had them come back the next year and replace all our gutters with gutter guards. Then my 80 year old parents needed their hail damaged roof replaced and we suggested Hulsey Roofing to them. They had them replace their roof and today they replaced their siding on their whole house. My parents nitpicked the job they did and came up with a few small things that they wanted changed. Hulsey's workers came back out, listened and explained why they did what they did and worked with them to make my parents very happy. They were very understanding, patient and kind to my Mom & Dad thru the whole process. We all would highly recomend Husey Roofing!

  Hulsey Roofing Company installed new siding, soffit, fascia and gutters. Arnes supervised and did an excellent job that it exceeded our expectation. We were pleased when Mark provided us with a very competitive bid. We have no concerns about recommending Hulsey to anyone.

  Had storm damage to my roof and siding from March 2025 storm, Mark from Hulsey came out and accessed the damage and wrote up a report. The Hulsey team, Mark, Michelle, Jeff, Alexis, Sarah, Amy, Melissa, those are the people I remember corresponding to in their perspective departments, took care of me. They delt with the insurance company in getting me what was needed, to ordering the material, scheduling the work, and making sure I was satisfied with the work. Everyone was nice and helpful, they were prompt with getting back to me with answers to my questions. I recommend this company for your future needs.
