  Do not them they subbed out the work to another roofer, laid shingle on existing ones and use sheets of roof shingles in areas not what we agreed on do not use these guys

  They Buy your information from an out of country spam call box. They call me daily asking if I am a homeowner. Please Spartan, source your data more ethically

  Hi TallMan, Joel here (I'm not very tall), owner of Spartan. I’m sorry for the frustration, and I take this seriously. I do want to respectfully clarify one important point: Spartan does not buy random spam call lists or use an out-of-country spam call center. Our calls come from people who contact us directly or submit a home-improvement form through channels like Facebook, Instagram, Google, or partner lead forms. We also track those submissions for compliance. That said, mistakes can happen. Sometimes a person mistypes their phone number, or someone submits a number that is not actually theirs. We have no way to know that until the person tells us, but once someone asks to be removed, our policy is to remove and hard-block that number immediately. I wish I had your name or phone number here so I could personally identify the record and audit exactly what happened. Please ASAP message me at 916-580-6329 directly with the number being called, and I will personally check the lead source, call history, and removal status, and ensure it is removed. If you asked my team to stop calling and we failed to remove you, I will take this review on the chin and update this response publicly to say we missed our own standard. That would not be acceptable to me. But if the number was submitted to us by mistake and we were never given a chance to remove it, I hope you can understand why the claim that we are sourcing unethical spam data would not be accurate, and a little bit of a bummer for us.   Spartan Roofing replaced my roof without issue, but the solar system installed at the same time has never worked. More than 2.5 months later, it is still not operational. Despite this, the loan funded after “final inspection,” so I’ve been making payments on a system that has never produced power. When escalated to ownership, the response has been finger-pointing at the equipment vendor, vague updates, and no firm timeline or accountability. In addition, the job site cleanup was poor. Nails, debris, and bar code stickers from the gutter guards were left around my property, and I’ll likely be finding them for years. Delays happen but owning the problem and the aftermath matters. I hope Spartan Roofing will step up, take ownership, and resolve this promptly. I am open to updating this review once the system is fully operational.

  Adding some context for readers, Solar is not allowed to be turned on/grid activated until the utility (PG&E, or SMUD) gives Permission To Operate (PTO) which can take anywhere from 1 to 45 business days to be issued. Loans (industry wide) fund upon proof of submitting that document, not upon the utility processing it - because that would leave supply house lien risk on the home for something that neither us, nor a homeowner, can control, just a paper processor at PG&E/SMUD. Upon activation both inverters were faulty. Total fluke. We immediately reached out to the manufacturer who sent us (1) replacement unit instead of 2. We installed the 1 unit within 3 days of receipt. They have still not sent us unit 2's replacement. Three separate team members at Spartan have been HOUNDING the manufacturer for a replacement unit. Escalating to the manager at the manufacturer, approximately 10 days ago, with additional follow up emails since then. While this alone doesn't help the customer, the additional manufacturer guarantees this solar system has regarding production will cover for the time delay, but we are still eager to get him online. Ownership has been involved with getting the manufacturer to send the new unit, as well as the project manager, and our operations manager.

  not happy at this point! We had the inspection, paid our downpayment, set a date for repairs to begin. and the appointment time in the morning was not kept. we set an appointment for the afternoon which was also not kept. no one from the Company has called to try and explain whats going on.

  workers had mounted in attic to the joist when doing so they drilled to far and put holes in our bedroom ceilings. They were very friendly took picture and agreed that they had made a mistake and would have someone come out and fix. it's been 5 months and they will not answer call or respond back, updated and now they're saying holes in ceiling were already there and that they will not fix.

  Starting off on a very bad note with Steve keep on giving me the round with excuses and NOT CALLING ME BACK THATS BAD BUSINESS and MAKES THE COMPANY LOOKS VERY BAD, # 1 he is waiting on my insurance company something I never gave him, # 2 waiting to pull the permit, # he waiting on the office project manager to call him back, so whats going to be # 4, communication is the best thing I don't like people lying in my face just BE A MAN OF YOUR WORD

  Called to get a estimate and the lady that answered had her dog barking in the background and couldnt hear me. That a way to do bad business.

  Apparently my phone number and an old address for a home I rented 6 years ago was sold to this company. Despite doing NO searches for any such services I have received over 7 phone calls and voicemails from this company in less than 2 days. I called them this morning and asked to be removed from their call list. I have 3 voicemails from three different people since then. I have updated this review after contact from the business owner. He offered an apology and assured me that I will not be contacted in the future.

  Kash was great! He came out to my house for my solar system and was very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions. Great customer service from start to finish. Highly recommend Kash!

  My Dad is a man of very few words but this is what he expressed. Spartan didn’t tell Him what he needed, he was told what he didn’t need done to his roof, and my Dad needed it to make sense. The below pictures don’t do it justice to what the home now looks. Come winter, there won’t be any worry to the heat in the home or the gutters. The turnaround of construction was quick, convenient and absolutely professional. Special thanks to the entire Spartan team and Mitch, for walking through the entire project with ease. Mitch started early and the last person after the job was done. Great job to all and Thank you! Mic C.

  From my first meeting to assess my roof and provide an estimate to completion of the job, Spartan's crew was professional and courteous. The estimate was reasonable compared to others obtained. The crew provided quality workmanship and cleaned up at the end of each day. Very happy with my new roof.

  Dayne Dyer was an awesome agent either way whom to work, i.e. upper 1% of agents in my experience. He was extremely professional, incredibly well-informed and very honest. He went thoroughly through all the data necessary for him to calculate the efficacy of solar panels for energy savings towards my electric bill; he ultimately recommended that purchasing solar from him was not a good economic decision. I so appreciated his competence and candor that I asked him if he would like me to write a statement publicly recommending him to others for consultation regarding the usage of solar for their needs.   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely GREAT experience with Mike Saint Lawrence at Spartan Home Services. Mike is one of the top guys at the company, but when he heard I was having an issue with my solar system, he offered to stop by and help simply because he was going to be in the area. That alone says a lot about the kind of person he is. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and clearly understands solar systems inside and out. He was patient throughout the entire process, including spending time working with the manufacturer’s technical support, and he gave clear, straightforward direction every step of the way. What impressed me most was that after taking the time to come out, troubleshoot the system, and help get me pointed in the right direction, he didn’t even charge me for the visit. It’s rare to find this combination of knowledge, professionalism, patience, and genuine customer service. I would highly recommend Mike Saint Lawrence and Spartan Home Services to anyone needing help with their solar system. They’ve definitely earned my trust and my future business.

  Spartan Home Services replaced my roof and gutters, added solar panels, and added a home battery system to our house. They did a great job. It's a lot of work, and they communicated well throughout the whole project.
