They left a mess and the leak was not sealed. Lots of scraps from cutting material and multiple cigarette butts were left. I would have at least been OK had the leak actually been repaired. It was not. I now have further damage as the water has literally made it's way down to the bathroom floor. I do not like to leave negative reviews, but in the case how could I not? DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Going to try and make this clear & concise as possible. Initially reached out to them 01/2025 and roof repair was completed in 03/2025. Dealt with Cosmin who was the representative for this project. There was some rain around April/May and a leak was still present. They sent a guy out, looked like he just applied more sealant and called it good. There was no rain after so I had no way to tell if it was properly repaired. Some key points before moving on: 1) I was presented the option of financing the repair bill and I indicated I would be interested. When I was billed, they charged my checking account (which I only keep a maximum of $1k in) the full amount and wondered why the payment bounced. I clearly stated I wanted to finance but whatever; moved some money out of savings and knocked out the bill to avoid further mess. 2) I had a large tarp and multiple sandbags over my skylights prior to the repair which I spent roughly $150 on. I clearly stated to remove the tarp, sandbags, and just make a pile in the courtyard. Doesn't even need to be neat just make a pile. They did not follow my instructions and just threw all of it away. Fast forward to 11/2025 when heavier rain came in. A leak from my skylight appeared. I tried multiple times to call their office during business hours but no one picked up. Doesn't help that they have various phone numbers listed. I tried the phone number listed on Google one more time and it somehow led directly to Cosmin's phone. I brief him on the situation and he said he's currently driving, so send him pics/vids of the leak; perfectly understandable. I sent over the documentation via text 11/17 and did not get a reply until 12/05 basically saying that the leak is not from the roof, but from the skylight. That's all he said, making it seem like he doesn't want the company to deal with my situation anymore. I replied immediately stating I understand and would like to pursue options in completely replacing the skylight. It is now 01/

When me and Alex reviewed my roof together he gave me a rough estimate of 25k and I told him if I’m paying that much I’d like a total redo so I don’t have to worry about my roof for a while. I asked how much extra is that? He said probably 5k more. So when I received the quote for 30k I assumed it was with total replacement as that is what we had discussed and I had requested. I reached out to go ahead and do it. I must of thought I already read thoroughly through the contract and that’s on me. However after they started tearing down my roof and they start adding more fees to the tune of almost 7 k because it was rotten underneath. This is when I realized they weren’t doing a total replacement and so I was frustrated with the added expense. Especially since it’s still not a total replacement after 37k. There was one siding specifically that had been leaking and was swelled, warped and bowing out so I asked multiple times if it was being replaced. I was told yes multiple times. Then I noticed as they were wrapping up it still was still not replaced. They then told me they never intended to replace it which was concerning for me based on its condition and what I had been told… but they went ahead and did it for me after multiple requests. They never sent me pictures proving the rotten roof until after work was done. When I finally saw the pictures it just looked like tar used on the flat roof. They cracked both my tube lights putting them back in but they are old and need to be replaced so I did not complain or let them know. Though they dropped one in the process and probably noticed for themselves. The manager was not happy with the way they put on the primer. They DO NOT paint only prime! But it looked sloppy. I appreciated that he saw that and wanted it redone. I also noted that one of the roof boards in my garage was not nailed down and still jiggled after completion and it would need to be secured. They told me a date they would be coming to look at it but sho

Hi Danielle, Thank you for posting your feedback. One of the most challenging things for a roofer is to disappoint a customer with unforeseen issues or additional costs after the job has started. Unfortunately, the way your roof was previously installed concealed significant problems underneath, including hidden dry rot in the decking. As you may remember, there were two layers of rotting plywood, which contributed to the cost increase for replacing the decking across the entire house. We understand that spending an additional $7,000, especially after the initial expense, is no small matter, and we truly empathize with your frustration. We appreciate that you gave us the opportunity to repair the nail sticking through the plywood that you posted photos of. As you know, we genuinely care about doing a good job, which is why we professionally painted your entire eave after completing the dry rot repairs—at no extra cost—even though that wasn’t part of our original agreement. Regarding the permit, we leave the permit with the customer for every job and always send photos as proof of completion once the project is done but we can certainly provide the proof again. Our project manager has tried to reach out to ensure your complete satisfaction, but we weren’t able to get in touch with you. If you’d like to contact our office at 916-678-9786, we’d love the opportunity to make it right for you. Best regards, Roof Recovery Team

I have waited two months for these guys to begin their work. Is this reasonable? During this time my home has been experiencing terrible damage. Their contact has times and days to pay quickly or else, yet they start whenever they feel like it.

Never got an estimate but kept calling and asking what you think, I even told them it was the 3rd time, called without any quotes and got back saying it was his first time calling me? You can't even do the most basic communication and coordination within your company, but you keep harassing customers. also they automatically register emails and tex to send you advertisements. Disgusting company.

I had made several attempts to get in contact with someone to schedule a project after getting an estimate done by Cosmin. I've called and left voicemails and at one point, I was told by the receptionist several times that she would reach out and I would get a call back. We never did. They have poor communication with clients. If they start off like this, most likely their project communication is poor too. Just a heads up.

Where do I begin? the company came out to complete some roofing and dry rot repairs on a house we had just purchased. We shared with them the roofing and dry rot inspection, as well as confirmed they would be able to fix a hole in the house caused by Gutter issues. They came out promptly, and then had to come out again and again due to poorly completed work. They did respond fast initially, however a year later when we found a separate hole they tried to cover up, but not tell us about stopped communicating with us. Highly recommend to not use this company, as they have poor service and will not communicate other issues they find.

Michael and Mariano were excellent. They were very detailed and thorough during the repair of my roof. My mom loved that they cleaned up the mess on the ground when they were done. Jordon was a great liaison.

RR couldn’t do the repair for our roof due to a steep, staggered tile setup, however I stilll felt the need to leave a review because Alex that came out to give an estimate was amazing. Gave feedback on what he saw when he examined the roof and what he would recommend. He was honest and thorough so I wouldn’t hesitate to call RR for roofing needs

The whole experience from estimate to completion was smooth. Their communication was excellent and they were prompt, friendly, and very informative. The fact they provide pictures of what was to be done, during the work, and the completed project was a very nice touch. The crew (David and Axel) were on time, nice, and always cleaned up. They even cleaned out my gutters. I can’t say enough nice things about this company.

I had a great experience with Roof Recovery from start to finish. The entire process was smooth, professional, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. It’s clear this company takes pride in doing the job right. A special thank you to David and Axel, who completed the work at my home. They were professional, hardworking, and paid close attention to every detail. They also did an excellent job cleaning up afterward, leaving everything neat and tidy. It’s refreshing to work with a company that has employees who truly care about the quality of their work. I highly recommend Roof Recovery!
