  Wow. Hard to believe this review. Some people hate the fact that honest, hard working, decent men are still capable of this type of outstanding physical performance on the job. Even after improving the quality and look of their neighbour's roof, which in turn adds value to the homes nearby. All done in an efficient, polite, respectful manner utilizing our years of experience to minimize the disruption of everyone’s day. Btw, thanks for moving your car to allow the roofing job to be done safely, avoiding any falling shingles from damaging the paint. At least the old shingles wont blow off onto your property now. I’ll have a discussion with my grounds keeper.

  It seems to say that Mike (the owner) has an issue calling customers back he made my wife with 2 new born wait 5 hours when he told us he would be here for 12 o'clock noon but he couldn't take 30 seconds out of his day to give us a call …

  Mike ( Me, the owner ) told the customer one of our workers could do this repair after our scheduled roof replacement job was done, perhaps sometime after lunch. Our our worker did not get to this "repair" job, which was not one of our warrantied roof responsibilities but something we do to help homeowners keep their homes from falling apart, until later in the afternoon. I immediately got a call from the irate customer complaining that we showed up late. I asked if we should leave and was met with more complaining, so we left. Southwinds Roofing will ONLY work for friendly, appreciative people, unlike this customer, and would like to warn all other contractors to avoid doing business with this jerk.

  ????? I have heard NO messages. You are/were on our list and we are doing 5-7 jobs a week, without taking any bad weather days off ( no crews in London do as many jobs as ours). It is now Oct 5, which is near the end of september last time I checked. If you were to call me and ask when we are coming you wouldn`t have to leave a negative review, which seems to be the new IN thing. Again, I have had zero messages from you in my inbox or answering machine. Are you sure you have the correct roofing company?

  Mike, please be upfront with people on the phone regarding the fact that you don't have time to do repair work for new (i.e. non-existing) customers. It's a week after the big storm and I still have some shingle damage after one of your crew apparently came over. I could have spent this time dealing with someone more forthright.

  Southwinds would like to warn all contractors to avoid doing any business with this person. We did emergency repairs in a timely manner for FREE, and yet this ungrateful jerk left a goofy review

  Good morning everyone : We've had a bad experience with Southwinds Roofing and I would like to share our experience with everyone interested in their service. We had a leaking roof, called Southwinds based on the reviews on Google. We spoke with Mike, probably the owner, who was very polite and sounded confident, assuring us that someone will come over the weekend to see where the problem was. We were waiting by the phone the whole weekend, called them when Saturday evening, but no luck. We stood by the phone the whole Sunday as well counting on his word that he or someone else will show up- he knew the emergency. The roof was actively leaking. On Monday morning, he did answer at the phone, he sounded lost and confused, he asked me what was the address and he finally remember. This time, Mike was not that polite anymore, he replied that there were busy (but what about calling us and let us know ?), suggesting us to wait this time until Wed. when they might be available. Only to, shortly after, to tell me that their cannot take the job because they were way too busy. This is all I wanted to know at my very first call, not to make me wait all these days. Southwinds reliable roofing company ? You judge for yourself. Did they act professionally knowing that we have water in the house ? Not so much. Very disappointed on the way you are doing business, Mike from Southwinds Roofing. Shame on you !

  Southwinds provides continuous quality service to all previous and current customers. Our employees are working sun up to sundown trying to meet the demands of our clients. We would like to be able to solve all roofing issues for all potential clients but our workload does not allow for this

  We highly recommend Southwinds Roofing! Mike the owner was an amazing communicator. He responded to every question within minutes. His team took photos of every stage of their work and shared them with us. The crew was diligent and careful with every detail. If you need a new roof give them a call - you’ll be glad you did!

  Great company, out of 5 roofing companies I messaged this was the only one(Mike) to return my inquiry. Jeremy came by the next day and dug into my crawl space to find the leak. They told me around $1000 to fix the issue, I said no problem. When they fixed the issue it was $500. I wouldn't have know the difference if they said it was going to be $1200,I just would have paid it because it was around the original quote, you don't find good guys like that anymore. Save time, go straight to Southwinds and don't look back. I will refer them to anyone that will listen!!

  A huge shout-out to Mike and his team @ Southwinds Roofing! While experiencing water leakage and flooding due to a major ice dam, Mike and his crew responded promptly and professionally resolving the problem this past Friday during the unseasonably fridgid temperatures. We have used this company in the past when restoring our roof and highly recommend their experienced, caring, services. Thank you Mike and team.

  Southwinds’ Ken and Corey repaired my old roof in fall 2024. Got me through the winter. I hired Southwind to replace my old shingles and sheeting in fall 2025. Fantastic job! Tested almost immediately with 100kmh wind storm. 10/10. Efficient and professional.

  They did an amazing job at fixing a leak in our roof. They came the same day (which was a holiday) to diagnose the issue, and then within a couple days had returned to do the repair. Fair prices and amazing communication. Will be using them for all roofing issues that arise!

  Southwinds installed a new flat metal roof for us and removed 2 skylights we no longer wanted. The team was quick and easy to work with, the product is beautiful and they were wonderful to work with. I would definitely recommend. We will definitely be using them again when the rest of our roof needs replacing.
