  Didn't clean up after the job

Every job site is inspected before completion, and we have dedicated staff on every crew whose responsibility is to ensure the property is thoroughly cleaned up.   Witnessed some very unprofessional behaviour from AOK staff yesterday, screaming in the street, swearing and threatening neighbours of their customer because AOK had blocked the street and multiple private driveways. I wouldn't want to do business with a company that holds themselves to such a low standard of professionalism.

  I Was happy with them at first. Got them to do some windows and since it was raining they rushed it and left big chunks of cement and debris all over one of the bedrooms and did damage to the floor from moving the bed around. They didn't even cover the bed so there was cement dust all over it. Let's not forget the chunk they took out of the wall. When I brought this to there attention after they left they said it wasnt them.. So what are they implying? That my tenant took cement out of the wall to install the windows?? Professionalism isn't what aok is about. I'm extremely disappointed.

  We called a couple of years ago to have them quote (not repair) on a patch that had blown off in the wind. Without knocking on the door to consult us on cost, the owner was up on the roof with shingles fixing the damage (i.e. we didn't know he was there until we heard someone on the roof). After calling him down, he mentioned it was an easy fix so he decided to go up and get it done. There was no miscommunication (we mentioned only wanting a quote multiple times), he just ignored us and pushed the repair. They might do quality work, but this was bad business. I have also heard of others having unfortunate dealings with the owner. From this experience + the comments of friends, it seems he is a short sighted, unnecessarily aggressive 'business at all costs' type who puts himself first over others. It ain't hard: conduct business honestly

  It’s been seven years, and I still chuckle thinking about those two little tabs that had flipped up. 😄 The reason I went up and fixed them wasn’t to pressure you into anything. I was looking at the weather forecast and knew there was around 50 mm of rain on the way. I was more concerned about preventing water from getting into your home than I was about losing time I could have spent answering calls from people whose roofs were actively leaking and needed immediate help. My intention was never to force a repair. In fact, I was going to let you decide what, if anything, you thought it was worth afterward. Looking back, I understand you wanted a quote first, and I respect that. My priority that day was simply stopping what I believed could become a much bigger problem over two lifted shingles. Hopefully that quick repair is still holding strong 7 years later.

  AOK was dispatched by property manager, Jeff Vieira got in contact with me and I met him at my home, he was able to diagnose the issue and started the work right away, his workmanship was top level, he made sure the issue was resolved, he took away all the damaged material, he showed respect for my home and he advised he would send the property manager a full report including photos he took along the way. It’s very difficult these days to find someone that shows the same respect you have for your home. Thank you for the time and excellent workmanship a home owner deserves. You need a new Roof. Look no further. AOK Roofing. Service, dedication, and they do a solid job. Thanks Jeff!

  I would highly recommend AOK Roofing. They came out same day I called and made recommendations. Work was completed in a few days. Dwight and Tony were great. Very friendly and informative. Explained everything they did and took photos.

When you hear suspicious noises during a monsoon-style rainstorm, nobody wants to hear the words “new roof” unless they actually need one! 😳 We’ve always believed the best roof repair is the one that solves the problem — not the one that empties your wallet.   I shopped around a lot before going with AOK Roofing. Other companies quoted me about the same price for TPO, while AOK's quote was for torch-down, which is the more expensive system. Jeff was patient and accommodating about both my roof needs and the price, and he answered every question I had before I signed anything. They got the job scheduled fast. On day two of the install, Mark walked me through the process and everything I needed to know about the new torch-down roof. Best of all, the crew worked late to finish the job because rain was forecast for the next day, and they left the property clean when they were done. Fair price, good communication, and a roof I don't have to worry about. Highly recommend.
