  I was initially impressed with 1st choice. They got my roof installed fairly quickly in early spring, during some pretty awful weather. I noticed some issues shortly after, including scratched metal and broken siding that had to be removed and reinstalled during the roof replacement. I told the company and sales team about the damage in March and followed up frequently but not one ever came out to fix the damage. Nearly 3 months later and only after filing numerous complaints someone did finally come and fix the siding, but none of the scratches in the metal roof were addressed. I have emailed the company and never have received any follow up messages about my concers. After my experience I can not recommend this company.

At 1st Choice, our process is to contact our customers directly, arrange a convenient time to meet on-site, review any concerns together, and develop a clear plan to resolve them. It is evident that this process was not followed in your case, and we apologize for the breakdown in communication. Our General Manager will be investigating how this occurred internally and will be contacting you directly to review the outstanding concerns regarding your metal roof and determine the appropriate path to resolution.   Any contractor that feels the need to condemn other contractors for no reason other then to sell themselves is a shotty contractor and I would never recommend them!

  Hi George, it doesn't look like we've done a quote for you. Condemning other contractors is not part of our sales process and the reviews below can attest to our professionalism. We assume this is in response to the social media posting from a neighbourhood group that alerted us five men in an unmarked white truck were handing out flyers with the name "1st Choice Roofing", had no company shirts, no other sales materials and a gmail email address. Comments on the post warned others from working with this company because they did not fulfill their contracts and had poor quality work. Any person that tries to mimic our company through a slight variation on name and logo is definitely something we bring to the attention of our customers and homeowners in our area. We educate homeowners that professional companies have shirts, a website, company emails, paperwork explaining their warranties, insurance, as well as samples & colour chips with them.

  I contacted them and they emailed me and took all my information, then notified me that someone would get in touch with me to come out and quote the job. Never heard back from anyone.

  Highly recommend 1st Choice for windows, doors, siding, soffit, eavestrough, and downspouts. They also do roofing but it was not needed at this time. We will be sure to reach out to them when we're ready! We are thrilled with the new look of our home, and couldn't be happier. We miss the pleasure of seeing AJ and his father-in-law work on our windows, and Matt, Mike, and Jim work on the outside of our house. We wish you could see the detail put into making our house look fantastic. Its very important to mention the level of communication, and professionalism for the duration of this project. Each contractor showed up on time, and cleaned up after each day on the job. Highly impressed! We had so many passerby's complimenting the progress and in awe of the finished project. A special shout out to Stan our sales rep as well. He was awesome, and there for any questions, or concerns we had along the way. Please don't hesitate to give 1st Choice a call.

  I contacted Forest City Eavestrough after a recommendation from my neighbour. Tibor and the crew did an amazing job on my eavestrough’s. Excellent communication, and the job was done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend their service. My house looks amazing.

  John and David did a great job, clean and the house looks great. Fascia,, siding and eaves troughs. I would highly recommend Mike Harper and his company all day long. Will be using them again for doors and windows.

  Purchased a metal roof from 1st Choice and am extremely satisfied. The sales rep Stephen was great. My roof was installed in February and the crew were professional and courteous. Highly recommend 1st Choice.

  We had Stan out last week for a quote for a Metal Roof. Stan came well prepared with the quote and options. He did pre-work to simplify the conversation and gave us a very detailed quote(s) with multiple options. He was polite and not pushy and represented the company well. We also read online review(s) and posts, that left us comfortable in choosing this company for our project. Unfortunately, we decided to go with another vendor for this project, but Stan left us with such a good feeling that we wanted to provide a review and will reach out for future projects!

  I've had outstanding service and installation for all my commercial and residential units. The techs, Jay and their team, are very organized. Service jobs are prompt. Emergency jobs when heat goes off or other underlining issues, quick diagnoses and problem solved on spot. If you're looking for a great team and excellent service .... Builders Choice everytime! T.
