  I was very upset when I got home from work and seen my flower bed destroyed. I would like the owner to know that his roofing crew should be more respectful of property that does not belong to them. Trampling on a customers flower bed they enjoy so much on a daily basis is completely unacceptable. I never even noticed the roofing - my heart hit the ground the minute I saw my beautiful flowers were gone. I cannot give a good recommendation for this company because of the inconsiderate people they have working for them. The crew should have scaffolding covering bushes and flower beds before they start roof tear offs. I feel bad for the hummingbirds when they cannot find the flowers. I was offered a Lowes gift card -----thanks but NO THANKS.....

  Hi Sandy, Roofing can be very messy at times. Shingles versus gravity is the main culprit....especially when we're tearing off an entire roof. Nonetheless, I wish my guys had not destroyed any of your flowers. We roof hundreds of houses a year and our main goal is to prep and prepare the surroundings with tarps and other coverings to protect plants, bushes, flowers, HVAC, etc. I'm glad you and I were able to connect after I read this review and I'm glad you ended up accepting our gift card to replace those flowers. To the public: After working things out with Sandy, she did mention that she was too hasty with leaving such a poor review. She has verbally committed to removing this review. Unfortunately after several attempts and several phone conversations, she does not know how to remove the review. She does not know her google sign in. She is now a happy customer with us after we fixed our honest mistake. Thank you all for reading this reply.

  I had roof installed in October 2018 after couple mouth roof start leaking, they did not replace new flushing or seal well which caused leaks to come from roof which ruined my drywall and carpet. I called for warranty repair and left massage, yet NO ONE answered the phone. VERY UNSATISFIED

You stated your roof was installed in 2018 and here we are in 2020 this week. This would not be the first time someone left a poor review on google by mistake.   Brendan came out to give me a quote on 3 skylights, it took 2 weeks and 3 phone calls to try to reach him to follow up on project for him to send me a email saying they were not set up to perform job and they apologized for it.

My project manager promptly let you know that we would not be able to quote or service your request. Google reviews are designed to keep companies accountable when goods or services are exchanged for money. At the end of each performed service, google allows the public to rate their experience. NOT to leave a one star review hurting a local company because we chose not to do business with you. We noticed that you've personally left quite a few google reviews on other companies. All of them are 1 star reviews. My hope is that you at least entered into a contractual agreement with these companies you attempt to hurt online.   Starting with leadership this is a company driven by integrity. These guys will flat out show up on time, and respect your house as if it was theirs. I cannot recommend using Southern Star enough.

  The experience working with Southern Star was great from my initial conversation to the end of the project. Everyone was pleasant to speak with and very responsive. The work was completed within the time promised, and Jonny even came back to take additional pictures of the completed roof for my insurance company.

  I worked with Brandon at Southern Star Roofing to install a new roof on my home. I received quotes from many other companies and they had the most competitive price and service. Brandon was very reactive to my questions and great to communicate with. After deciding to go with Southern Brandon was able to get me scheduled within just a few weeks, much shorter than I expected. The team that came out to do our roof was great, the removal of my old roof was really fast and they made sure to protect all the areas around our house. The total roof replacement was done in 2 days, way faster than I thought possible but the team worked like a well oiled machine. After completion they cleaned up all debris and put back everything they had to move back where it was. Overall this was a great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new Roof!
