  My review is not of the work they do I’m sure that’s great, but of the communication. As soon as he noticed my roof would be a repair and not a replacement he ghosted me. I called and texted multiple times with no response throughout a whole week. Which put me behind that same week with missing ridge caps which let rain water get in since I waited for a reply. I waited because he was there when my adjuster went out to conduct the inspection and he said he would have the quotes over to Allstate etc. A simple reply stating that you can’t conduct the work because it’s not profitable is better than what you did in my opinion like other companies.

In fact, one of those 5 star reviews you see is from your neighbor just on the other side of Olde Farm Rd. We'd be happy to clear up any confusion for you, during my career I've taken care of many of your neighbors personally. The reps are instructed not to give out the personal information about past clients unless they've been given express permission to do so. If you would like a local reference, please call our office and we will be happy give you that information. Also, insurance coverage is a large part of what we do. The goal is to keep a roof over homeowners head without taking food off of their table. I apologize that this created a "red flag" for you, however it is a significant part of the roofing industry. We are happy to come out and take care of your Christmas lights for you as well.

  They did a good job of communicating with an insurance company like Allstate getting them to include it in the coverage. It took some time, but it did work out fine at the end. The installation process itself went smooth and they finished it up really good. I am totally satisfied with their service before, during and after the installation and would highly recommend them for their professionalism and service.

  I had the best experience with Southern Custom Construction. Joe Collett explained the process of roof replacement and kept me updated on any issues and problems they found. Found out the wood was damaged and would have to be redecked and they had it done in a day and half. Would recommend them for any roofing or construction needs. Would give them a 10 star.
