  Sales team was relatable, but used some high-pressure sales tactics, install went fairly well, but I asked for all new plywood and they didn’t follow through with the contract. Eventually, I agreed to letting them just replace the visible areas that they hadn’t replaced so it would be uniform from the exterior and they sent out a few apprentices to redo the areas. That was a few months ago.. I got on a ladder to look at my gutters today and I noticed that they damaged quite a few pieces of siding right along the roof line, there are exposed edges of wood that will wick moisture up during the rainy season, and the gutter is bent in quite a few few places. They definitely had the best price, but I guess you get what you pay for. Oh yeah, and they scratched my cars paint and has someone come out to fix it, that person didn’t fix it, and SPR never replied when I told them I still had scratches.

  I strongly caution anyone considering Sound Performance Roofing & Solar. My experience has been extremely frustrating due to their lack of communication, failure to complete the job, and refusal to take responsibility for ongoing issues. After installation, I immediately noticed that my solar system’s production numbers did not align with Puget Sound Energy’s (PSE) net metering data. I contacted Sound Performance multiple times, beginning on May 4, 2025, to report the discrepancy. Despite repeated follow-ups, they have failed to provide any meaningful support or resolution. Weeks turned into months of unanswered texts, delayed responses, and vague promises that “someone would look into it.” As of now, my system still isn’t functioning correctly from a billing and metering standpoint, and the company has shown little accountability or urgency in fixing the problem. A reputable solar or roofing company should stand behind its work, ensure systems are properly integrated with the utility, and maintain open communication with customers. Sound Performance has not done any of these things. I am deeply disappointed and feel that my investment in solar has been mishandled due to their negligence and lack of follow-through. I would not recommend this company until they take ownership of their mistakes and properly support their customers.

  Sales person entered property despite no trespassing sign. Continued to ignore no solicitation sign and attempted in person solicitation. Please respect homeowners who don’t want to be disturbed by salespeople. I asked if he was soliciting. He said “no,” then proceeded to try to offer roofing services.

  I did not appreciate the excessive aggressive knocking at my house. Regardless if the service is good or not. No one, no one likes it when your reps to come door to door and knock 10 second long bangs twice. Both times caused my house to rumble especially when my baby was sleeping in the next room. I was gonna answer the door the first time. But the knock had too much aggression. Did not bother. Whoever Lee is. Think about how to approach a door. First impressions are everything in business.

  The team from sound performance restoration came and knocked my roof out in two days even with replacing alot of plywood, they did a great job on my roof, added in little touches that I had not thought of like small flashing wings to channel water to my gutters more effectively, they found and repaired old issues that my roof had hidden so it shouldn't be a issue in the future. I am recommending them to my nebours that need new roofs on there houses.

  Following a neighbor's recommendation, we had a consultation with SPR. We were thoroughly impressed with the comprehensiveness and professionalism of the inspection of our current roof, as well as with the options presented to us for a replacement. Once we'd committed to the project, our liaisons stuck by us throughout the whole process, and we're very pleased with the quality of the work that was done. Financing options were flexible and we quickly found the arrangement that worked for us. We can confidently say that know where to turn for future home improvements.
