After reviewing your project, it appears the issue is with the existing roof flashing—not the gutter installation we were hired to complete nearly 4 years ago. Tile roofs, especially older ones without starter flashing, can cause water to curl back behind gutters during heavy rain. We did send a technician to add flashing in that area as a courtesy attempt to help, but it sounds like a larger flashing correction may be needed. While flashing repair wasn’t part of our contracted scope, we always aim to educate homeowners and assist where we can.   One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company. I’m not going to go into detail but I’m sure he will come on here and defend his actions, but here’s the gist of it. Communication: As a business owner, when you are having a consistent issue with a job, the onus is on you to deal with it. Not once did you come to inspect the problems that we were addressing in person despite being located less than 30 minutes away. Additionally not responding to numerous emails outlining our valid concerns but choosing to immediately respond to a negative google review, displays the priorities of the company. Lastly, when your workers replace siding on the wrong portion of the house that was not included in the contract, try to not to defend your self as “doing us a favor”. If you were truly doing us a favor, you would have 1) communicated there was additional damage that was not identified on the initial inspection, and that you planned on fixing it. 2) responded to our communication in a timely manner asking why they were replacing the siding on the house. Craftsmanship. The pictures I have included in the photos section speak for themselves. The chimney cap is not Sealed, as was specified in the contract, and the “custom steeple cap” is honestly an embarrassment. Overall if I could give this company a negative review I would. I forgot to mention one thing. If you as a customer are waiting to make final payment on a project until a response to your concerns are addressed, you can rest assured that he will avoid all communications outside of a google review, but then threaten a lien on your house the day after you place it on the market.

  Update: The owner has still not come out to inspect the work done by his crew, and he has made no additional attempts to resolve our concerns. We hired Do It Right for work on our home. The company charged substantially more than what was originally agreed to, even after we asked in writing for updated estimates for the additional work they said was needed. We had discussed in writing prior to the work the possibility of there being rot under the siding on the chimney, and the owner stated the additional costs would likely be less than $1,000 if that were the case, as the most expensive part was the siding, which we chose to fully replace upfront. When damage we asked upfront about was found, we were on site and the company did not provide us with any updates on cost, so we assumed the cost of our original conversation in writing (see pictures). The work was completed and after, we were told the price would be $5,000-5,500 additional (5x amount discussed in email for this exact circumstance). It is unacceptable they didn’t even have a conversation upfront with us before making such substantial changes in price. We expressed dissatisfaction with that price, and after disagreement, they agreed to discount the labor price, but they now said the total price just for the “extra” work before discount was over $7,000. This was arbitrarily increased after the additional work was complete only a couple of hours after we were given the 5-5.5k additional price in writing. The siding that was installed differed from what we had discussed over email. The owner even sent us a link with the siding and said "this is what I was thinking" that we agreed upon in writing. We repeatedly had to contact them to send workers back to finish items listed in the contract that were left incomplete after the job was marked as finished. They also removed and replaced siding on the wrong portion of the house with textured siding instead of the smooth siding currently on our house and have

Do It Right Roofing, LLC values professional integrity, and we must correct the record on several key points: Unforeseen Safety Issues & Approval: During demolition, we discovered extensive, hidden structural rot in the chimney that was not visible during the initial estimate. This was a critical safety issue requiring a full rebuild. The client was informed onsite and verbally approved this necessary change-order work to proceed. Substantial Good-Faith Discount: Per our signed contract, change orders are billed at time-and-materials. This rebuild required 42 labor hours ($5,250). However, as an act of good faith to help with this unexpected cost, we discounted the labor to just $2,500—less than half the contractual rate. Adherence to Signed Contract: The siding installed was exactly what was listed in the signed and approved contract. Any general product photos discussed prior to signing do not supersede the final, executed agreement that governs specific materials. Project Completion & Quality: The entire project, including all approved change-orders and the custom-fabricated steeple cap, was fully completed on October 16, 2025, with photographic confirmation provided. Additional Free Work: To further assist the homeowner, our team performed several repairs and painting tasks completely free of charge to ensure the exterior was ready for sale. We have acted ethically, followed the signed contract, and provided significant discounts and free services in good faith. We stand firmly behind the quality of our work.

  The service was exceptional! I spoke with Marly, Kelly, Garret and Renzo. Very friendly when you speak with them! Garret explained the process of getting our roof taken care of. When they finished I was shown pictures of the work that was done. Highly recommend Do it Right Roofing!

  The office staff, the site manager and Sergio who came to my home and cleaned my roof did a better job than I've had done before. Sergio cleaned the debris from the roof. de-mossed it and did an excellent job of cleaning up around my house. Am a very satisfied customer.
