Our old roof was near the end and we finally decided to deal with it before another winter. I reached out for one of the free inspections and the guy who came out actually talked me through what he saw instead of just handing me a scary number. He showed me photos of the worn spots and explained why a full replacement made more sense than patching. That took a lot of pressure off the decision. We ended up using the financing option which spread it out to something manageable. Scheduling was quick once we signed off. The install itself moved fast, the tear off happened in the morning and by the second afternoon it was mostly wrapped. They also took care of the fascia that had gotten soft on one side, which we talked through before they touched it. The yard was clear when they left, no stray nails that I found. It has rained a few times since and everything stays dry, no drips near the chimney where we used to get them.

got a few quotes for a roof replacement and these were the ones who actually explained things instead of rushing me. the free inspection was legit, no pressure. someone recommended them since they do a lot of work around Oak Park. crew showed early, tore off the old shingles and had it buttoned up inside 2 days. gutters got swapped too and they line up nice. place looks way better from the street and no leaks after the last storm

so last spring we had a bad hailstorm come through and it messed up a decent chunk of our shingles. could see dents and cracks from the ground. a couple weeks later there was a small leak near one of the upstairs windows after a heavy rain. reached out to SL Roofing for an inspection and they confirmed the storm damage was worse than what we could see just looking at it. they helped us figure out the insurance side of things too which was nice because I had no idea what to even file. once everything was approved they got the full replacement scheduled pretty quick. new shingles went on in about two days and that leak area got extra attention. haven't had a single issue since even through some rough weather this past winter. the price after insurance was really manageable

Started looking around for a roofer back in March after noticing some shingles curling up. Got a few quotes but SL roofing was the most straightforward about what needed to happen. They did a free inspection and laid it all out. Scheduling was quick, crew showed up on the day they said and wrapped up in 2 days. Roof looks solid now

We had shingles blowing off after every big storm and it was getting worse each time. SL Roofing did a full replacement and the roof has held up through two storms since with zero issues.

Really solid experience with this company. The estimate was detailed and they didn’t try to upsell a bunch of stuff we didn’t need. Work started on time and the crew kept things moving all day. Driving through Oak Park, I notice a lot of older roofs so it felt good getting our ours done right.

Had a leak showing up on the ceiling every time it rained hard. They came out, found where the shingles had lifted, got it all patched up the same week. No more water marks so far.
