  They came & looked at the roof on my house & garage about 2 weeks ago to give me an estimate on how much it would cost to put a new roof on both. I haven't heard from them since. Horrible communication. I will certainly not use them now & will not recommend them to anybody.

  I have spoke to you through email and you said that you received the estimate and thanked me for the estimate and my time. The estimate was processed and sent to you on the same day the 10th of March. This review is not truthful and dishonest. This is shameful that you still have not removed this. You gave a negative review on a free service that you received as a same day service.

  I had another guy come today to do the finishing touches on my big front window and he was amazing very polite and respectful and did a fantastic job your company has a fantastic crew. I'm very very happy with my windows they are beautiful Thank you .

  Had my roof replaced last week and these guys did an excellent job. Scheduling was quick and easy, the work was done start to finish in one day, and the cleanup was impeccable. Not to mention the roof looks great! Big thanks to Nick and Travis and the rest of their crew - highly recommended!

  I had a whole large roof replacement with major deck damage due to zero venting and bad workmanship when an addition was added years ago . Also major wood rot repairs and new siding on the whole front and side of house which never had house …

  "Let me do you a favor" ... a co-worker told my wife after we had many unsatisfactory meetings with other roofing companies in NE Ohio. He suggested SLE. What a blessing that was for us. Whereas others that we met with were vague and non-committal, Nick met with me and answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction. We did contract with SLE and the work they did was impeccable. Being a century home, the roof required extensive work. The men that came to work on the roof were respectful, courteous, and very professional. The yard and flower beds were kept immaculate. In the evenings after work, we would go out to check the yard and flower beds for debris and could never find so much as a nail. I had been roofing summers when younger and can truthfully account for the great quality workmanship SLE provided. FAST FORWARD...because of this past roofing experience, we did not hesitate to call SLE once again to provide services for a total tear down for new siding and windows. Because we knew the quality SLE provides, there was no need to interview other contractors. And, as advertised, the exterior work was beautifully completed. We are extremely pleased with the siding and windows. We rely on their expertise and suggestions and have not been disappointed. Again, now, without hesitation we have asked SLE and the interior component - Dream Team Interiors - to remodel the kitchen area. More to follow... 11/25/2025

  I bought my home in north mentor 4 years ago and it’s been a labor of love. I’ve hired half a dozen or more contractors for various projects inside and out. Silver Lining Exteriors is the most professional, punctual and skilled group that I’ve worked with bar none. I hired them to tear off and replace my siding, roof and gutters. As the project progressed so did the scope. They removed an awning off my front door, extended my roof line on the front and back of my house by 6” to accommodate a more robust gutter installation, replaced a bathroom window and covered a redundant garage window, reinforced rotten wood under my front door and helped me navigate various complexities with the electric company where my new siding meets the meter. The various extras were all reasonably priced and perfectly executed. They could have ignored or covered these things up but instead, they pointed them out and addressed them so I could affordably make my home a safer place to live. The work they did is beautiful. I could not be happier and cannot recommend them enough. I’m already in talks with SLE for my next interior project and various exterior jobs. All the employees they had on site did awesome work. I am using their electrician for a completely unrelated job right now. Their crews were friendly, prompt, clean and skilled. If you need large or small interior or exterior work done in the Lake County and surrounding areas, Silver Lining Exteriors is as solid a firm as you will find anywhere. Both Mickey and Nick are consummate professionals and just generally good dudes. 5 Stars 10/10 highly recommend. If you want to see an example of their work, look for the dark blue board and batten ranch home near the top of Magnolia Dr. Mentor, OH., off Lakeshore Blvd.

  Silver Lining Exteriors were a blessing to work with. They were not only fairly priced, professional, as well as the working members, took pictures of the beginning, working stage and completed stage. I will definitely refer them.

  I had a small roof leak in my garage due to tree damage. Mickey got me an estimate very quickly and had the work done promptly, professionally and efficiently. The price was reasonable as well! I will definitely use them again if needed.

  SLE did a great job repairing my garage from a large fallen tree limb. They were easy to communicate with and gave me a reasonable estimate. The repairs were done in a timely manner. I was very happy with the end result.

  We had a front porch and roof added to the house, the Silver Lining team was fast, friendly and clean. The job was completed timely and the team kept me up to date on the progress. Even with some mix ups on the gutter, the issue was resolved quickly.

  Where to begin...first off we were in need of an entire exterior remodel which included siding, doors, windows and gutters. We did our due diligence and met with several companies in the area for estimates and all sent very professional representatives. We even had estimates done with separate companies for each part of our project to see if that might benefit us in overall costs. Have to admit we were a bit burned out at the end with the number of estimates we had done and we said Silver Linings would be the last company we would talk to and then would make a decision. Mickey who is co-owner of Silver Linings came out to the house and we presented to him what we wanted (our vision). He was on board from the get go and said "We can do that!" He then showed us some work of what his team had done similar to what we had in mind, and then got down to business measuring the windows and doors. Never felt pressured or got a sales pitch during the entire time he was here! We heard back from him a few days later with a quote and that along with the good vibe we had from our meeting we knew they were the company for us! Flash forward to the project happening and we were just as impressed with his crew....very professional and they got to work right away. Showed up on time and put in a full day's work! Took about two and a half days for the main portion of the project to be completed. At one point we walked out into our yard to look at the progress and we were just awe struck at how they brought our vision to life right off the page of our drawing we presented at the first meeting (see pic)! One of the things that stood out the most to us was what Mickey said over and over throughout the project was "We want you to be 100% satisfied!" They nailed it! We are 100% satisfied!

  Excellent, timely siding replacement installation. It looks great. Workers were very competent and courteous. They completed my two story colonial in 2 days. Great job with clean up as well. Highly recommend Silver Lining Exteriors.

  Silver Lining Roofing just finished installing my roof and they were fantastic, the crew kept a clean job site, took care of my landscaping and kept me informed thruout the day.
