  I engaged Powers Roofing & Exteriors based on their positive reputation to address several roofing needs, including the replacement of my chimney cap. Although I paid the full amount quoted in the initial estimate, the chimney cap was never replaced. During their initial service visit, I was informed that they could not source someone to perform the replacement and that they would instead scrape and paint the existing cap. I agreed to this resolution and settled the final invoice in good faith; however, the company has since failed to respond to any of my follow-up calls or emails. I am disappointed by this lack of communication and professionalism, and I would urge others to exercise caution, as my experience did not align with the company's online reviews.

  Poor customer service, very unresponsive, incomplete estimate provided after a month, delayed my project, reported to my insurance who recommended them. Didn’t hire.

  Bought a house in January 2025 roof/gutter contract was signed under previous home owner. Roof was completed towards end of January/ February. Two downspouts were not connected back to storm laterals after completion causing water in my basement, had to come back to fix. Gutters were visibly improperly sloped, came back and fixed that. Had to have them come out several times for clean up with shingles, metal pieces, nails, screws found all around my house. Less than 6 months into having our roof it leaked. Originally claimed it wasn’t a leaking roof and it wasn’t until I sent a video of me in my attic showing the leak and having a family member also reach out that they came and fixed it. A neighbor recently just stopped over and told us that he had seen our gutters overflow with water, here to find out another location the gutters are improperly sloped. If you are a someone getting a roof to sell or a buyer who knows they are having powers do that roof pay close attention to their transferable warranty. The person who signs the contract must pay a fee to be able to have the warranty transferred, but if you did not sign the contract you can not pay to have the warranty transferred in your name.

To provide some clarity for anyone reading, the roofing work referenced was completed under contract with the previous homeowner prior to your purchase. Because of that, there was no direct agreement or transferable warranty in place under your name. That said, when you reached out with concerns, our team still made multiple trips to the property to address items and even completed repairs to the roof as a courtesy - despite not having a contractual obligation to do so. Regarding the fascia concerns, those items were not part of the original scope of work. We did our best to communicate that clearly while still offering guidance on next steps. We understand that homeownership, especially shortly after purchasing, can come with unexpected challenges, and we never want anyone to feel unsupported. Our goal is always to be fair, transparent, and helpful, even in situations where we are not directly contracted.   If I could leave a 0 I would. I don't know what this company is like because they never showed up or gave me a curtesy call explaining why they aren't here. I called Sunday morning and the person that answered said they'd put us down as an emergency, we had water coming into our pantry. They never showed up, and as of 5pm today, Monday, I still haven't received a call. I won't do service with them at all, as I've found someone to look at the problem and will fix it for us. My money will be spent elsewhere

Our phones have been busy and we’re still catching up with emails/calls from the weekend. I’m sorry we weren’t able to get back to you in a timely manner.

  Hi Melissa. This is not true and you've been advised by our attorneys regarding this situation. We had multiple correspondences with you since the work was completed in November. I really wish we could handle this outside of public forum as we have been trying to work with you. First you say we didn't want to respond to you but then you say we harass you. Neither is true. We were never advised about water in the basement but that would not be due to the roof as you never had downspouts on your home and there was rotted fascia boards. We advised you of this and you declined the repairs. You've withheld theinsurance payment you've received your the roof since November and you've told us several times you've mailedinthe payment but that was never true. We've done nothing wrong and we really wish you would stop defaming us in public forum.

While I know we did have a vehicle that was waiting on a ladder rack to be installed, there is no excuse for us to have shown up unprepared and with poor communication.   Powers has a great asset in Craig, my sales person. Craig is never pushy and is a great people person. He always talked about business but he also always showed interest in what I do in my spare time since I am retired. He is an all around wonderful guy and you guys are blessed to have him.   We had Powers come out and give us an estimate for out roof. Nick Fitzgerald came out quickly and within a few hours I had an estimate. Nick was knowledgeable and friendly. We had a few more questions and he came back with another super nice gentleman who went over a bathroom vent with us, and the rest of our questions. We will definitely be using them and couldn’t be more happy with their customer service and the fair price.
