  This company came out to assess some damage on my roof - I figured it would need a replacement but the way Adam presented it implied I was stupid (he told me that it can't be repaired because Utah is a "matching state" - implying that the state would care if some of my shingles were a different shade of gray) and also borderlined on insurance fraud (I planned on paying cash but he was heavily pushing to provide a "date" on when wind damage occurred and wanted to work with my insurance to pay a portion, and wouldn't leave it alone). I ended up paying cash with someone else to avoid an insurance premium hike since the payout on a 20 year old roof isn't worth it. Overall his quote was similar to the other companies I talked to, but the high pressure sales tactics really put me off and I felt like I couldn't trust them- If you want to get your insurance to pay Adam is probably your guy, if you want someone you can trust maybe look elsewhere.

  They came and did my parents roof. They promised that it would be done in 3 days and it took 2 weeks to get done. We had 2 rain storms during that 2 weeks and they didn’t show any hustle to get it done before the rain. Then the roofers left before they had finished the job and another roofer had to come back to finish. I will be referring anyone that asks me for a recommendation to find someone else. Very disappointed!

  Hi Jacob, I want to sincerely apologize again for the issues that occurred during your parents roof installation. We understand how frustrating the experience was, and it’s never our intention for a project to go anything less than smoothly. As soon as I became aware of the situation, I personally stepped in to make things right. The original crew was removed from future work, and we immediately brought in a new team to complete the remaining section of the roof. I came onsite myself, met with your Dad, and ensured that everything—including the gutter work—was finished correctly. Our goal was to fully address the mistakes, take responsibility, and make sure you felt heard throughout the process. During my visit, your Dad and I spoke, shook hands, and discussed the steps we took to correct the issues. He mentioned he understood the situation, especially given his experience as a contractor. Because of that conversation, I was surprised to see a 1-star review posted several weeks later that did not include any of the corrective actions we took. We also attempted to follow up multiple times after the review was posted but did not receive a response. We truly value your parents as a customers and are committed to doing the right thing anytime something goes wrong.   I got my roof done with Shelley last summer. I picked out the roofing color and the drip edge to match the rest of the house. I worked with two salesman back-and-forth, which was confusing and was told by one salesman I could have a certain color of drip edge, and the other that I could. I noticed after they started installing about 10 feet of the drip edge. It was the wrong color. A dark brown, and it was supposed to be a light tan. I immediately called my salesman and told him about it. He assured me they would take care of it. The next day they put the rest of the wrong drip edge color on, but Shelley told me they would make it right. Six months later of back-and-forth, they will not replace the drip edge and only offer to paint it the same color it should’ve been.. I worry it won’t look good and the paint will flake, but they will not put what I ordered on. Everyone is really nice there, but the communication is not very good. I spent a lot of money on this roof and feel like I should’ve got exactly what I ordered. It’s their mistake and they should fix it not make me settle to save them an extra dollar. If you have other options, I would shop around.

  It's been really frustrating working with Shelley Construction. The initial work was fine, they scheduled the work to replace our roof and came out as scheduled. That is when the issues started popping up. They left materials sitting in the front of our house for weeks with no communication. If I hadn't reached out asking about getting our gutters in as well (which was covered in the quote/insurance), I don't think it would have happened. Then it was silent from them for 4-5 months. Then I get an invoice that was $3,000 more than what it should have been. Trying to communicate with them has been painful.

  Super impressed with Skyler and Shelley Construction! We had previously received a few really high pressure sales people and high quotes from other companies. Skyler was great to work with and we felt so comfortable going with them. They kept everything so clean around the house and didn't leave any remnants of them being there, besides the great new roof. They checked up afterwards to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Definitely recommend!

  They did a great job on my grandma's roof leak! She was quoted a lot higher from several other companies, but Shelley construction came in and did a terrific job. Would recommend to anybody look for top service at great rates!

  Shelley Construction is very responsive and great to work with. We had a unique situation with leaking and they worked diligently to figure out the source of the problem and get it repaired. All employees, I have been in contact with are very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend!

  My insurance adjuster was an absolute nightmare to work with. Shelly Construction, unlike others that tried, never gave up. They kept me in the loop as they kept trying. After what seemed like forever, we finally got approval to replace my shingles. I couldn’t have been happier! Shelly was very professional. They helped us pick a good shingle that will last long. They found a certified solar company to remove and reinstall my panels. They were persistent and confident. They never gave up. Thank you Shelly Construction! I highly recommend you for any other work beyond roofing. They have my confidence and trust. If you come across them for some service, move forward knowing it will be a good decision. Only paid the deductible and a little more for an upgrade of my own choosing.

  Adam really knew what he was talking anout with his construction management background. As a retired Engineer I found his knowledge sound and when it came to addons he was convincing and I made the upgrades for all the right reasons. Overall cost was very, very good. The construction crew did a good job and got the job dne in 2 days.

  We are incredibly happy with Ryan McFayden and the work he did to help us get our new roof. From the first day until the last there was great, consistent and clear communication and up until the last inspection he followed up with us throughout the entire process and came by to make sure we always understood everything happening and was always willing to explain and help. The roofers who came to fix the actual roof were great as well! They made sure to sweep the yard for debris and nails and super professional as well. From start to finish this whole experience was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and we can’t recommend them enough if you need help with your roof. Absolute professionals, kind, caring, understanding and hardworking!
