They damaged our permant lighting and refuse to take responsibility for it.

I strongly do not recommend Crest Roofing. My experience with their billing practices was frustrating, misleading, and raised serious concerns about their integrity. I also want to be clear that I made every effort to resolve these issues directly with their billing department before posting this review. I even tried reaching out to Chris himself, but was directed back to the billing team. I paid their invoice in full and attempted to address the discrepancies internally, but the outcome was not handled fairly. I was given a separate quote for gutters, which I initially planned to pay out of pocket. After the work was completed, my insurance approved the gutters. My insurance adjuster clearly stated that the contractor should not charge more than the original quoted amount... but Crest Roofing ignored that and charged more anyway. On top of that, they billed the gutters twice: Once to my insurance and again directly to me. This wasn’t a minor oversight. It took multiple rounds of back-and-forth to get the duplicate charge removed, which should never have happened in the first place. Even more concerning, the invoice amounts appeared to be adjusted to match and fully exhaust the insurance payout, with numbers changing across documents. When I requested a detailed, line-item breakdown of the final invoice, they refused to provide one. As for the work itself, it remains to be seen. They completed the removal and install in one day, in the middle of winter, and continued working during a sudden snowstorm in the afternoon/evening even after I expressed concern for both the integrity of the work and their safety. Would I have left a positive review if they had simply honored their original gutter quote? Yes. Instead, they chose to keep the $672.98 difference and lost my trust entirely. I have reported this situation to my insurance company, and they have indicated this contractor will be flagged for closer scrutiny on any future claims they submit. I will also be

I apologize that you felt you were treated unfairly. There are some important things to note with this install. During the install we ran into some unfavorable weather conditions. Crest Roofing does not install during bad weather. We were able to complete a good roof installation where we brought the roof up to current building code and upgraded the shingle to a Performance 50 Year Warranty shingle. At no charge to Christine we upgraded her to an Architectural shingle from a 3-Tab shingle.
