  I am shocked to see the high reviews for this company. They have been doing the roof at Lime Bay in Tamarac since December and all I can say is the process has been an absolute disaster. Lime Bay and their management company Phoenix says all fault lies directly on SCI. This project started in December and still isn't close to being finished. Gutters un-attached, water cascading over the side of buildings and the lovely addition of their porta-potty in the parking lot now for 10 months. Now for some reason they only do work on weekends. Really disappointing and be warned if considering using them for any large sized project, or any project at that.

  We’ve been waiting for the scuppers and downspouts for months now. They keep saying they will come to do the job and they never do. Meanwhile water keeps going down the walls every time it rains damaging everyone’s walls. Not ok!

  If you're a Property Manager or Board Member considering SCI for a large-scale roofing project, you may want to carefully evaluate your options before making a decision. During the sales process, we were promised a well-organized operation with detailed scheduling, dedicated crews, and an experienced family-owned company backed by military discipline. Unfortunately, our experience has been very different. Our challenges began with the permitting process, which we were assured would not be an issue. We then encountered logistical delays with tile deliveries. While we fully expected weather-related setbacks, the initial expectation was that the first roofs would be completed within approximately 14 days. As of today, 63 days have passed, and only 2 of our 55 roofs have been completed. At this pace, it is difficult to see how the original 8-month project timeline can realistically be achieved. We were also repeatedly told that additional crews would be deployed to accelerate the project, but those commitments have not materialized. Throughout the project, we've experienced repeated delays, changing timelines, and promises that have not been fulfilled. If you're managing a condominium association or another large roofing project, I would encourage you to do extensive research, ask detailed questions about staffing and scheduling, and compare multiple contractors before making your decision. Based on our experience, SCI has struggled to deliver on the expectations and commitments presented during the sales process.

  SCI told me they would change out vent and glued down loose tiles on the roof. They gave me the work order and they left out gluing the loose tiles down. When I told SCI that omitted that item they said no worries we will glue down the tiles while we are on the roof. They only did two tiles, but should have done 10. Do not recommend them as they do not do what they tell you and then rely on fine print. Short sighted perspective. They did change out the vent that was leaking. Pricey $$$. Ryan Boca Raton

  Do not use!! Company was sloppy! Further there was slight damage on my vehicle and when I called Sydnie, she said to send her estimate . I sent her an estimate, not much at all and General manager said he refused to pay. I called to speak with General manager and he refused to speak with me. Terrible business practice!!! To update my response from your response: First: The phone call a week prior was very pleasant, you assured me this would be taken care of. When I sent you the invoice, you then said management had to review this. Days later it was denied. I then asked to speak with the manager and he refused to take my call. I was hung up on . This is and was infuriating. BTW as far as us using them twice, I challenge anyone to come by our property and see our driveway and carport that was destroyed from the trucks.

Following multiple phone calls during which profanities were directed at our female staff, and numerous spam calls that disrupted business operations, we made the decision to discontinue further direct contact. We expect respectful and professional communication at all times, and we will not tolerate abusive behavior toward our team. We regret that this situation has escalated and hope you understand our position. Should you have any formal inquiries moving forward, we ask that they be submitted in writing.   If you need a great roofing company use this one! I had a wonderful experience working with them. Gabriella was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful and she always went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. Would 100% recommend SCI!

  Sean and the team at SCI Roofing of Florida were professional, honest, and easy to work with from start to finish. Sean was knowledgeable, kept us informed throughout the process, and made sure everything was completed with great attention to detail. It’s hard to find a company that truly cares about quality and customer satisfaction, but SCI Roofing of Florida definitely does. I would highly recommend Sean and his team to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality roofing services!!

  We can’t thank the SCI Roofing team enough! From the estimator to the repair crew, and especially Bruna for keeping my wife updated and at ease throughout the process, everyone was professional and genuinely cared. We had a hard time finding a trustworthy company willing to do roof repairs before hurricane season being that we just moved to South Florida and recently got a place—most companies kept pushing us toward a full replacement instead of helping with our smaller job. SCI came out the same day, and our repairs were completed within a week. The crew was fast, respectful, and did great work. It’s refreshing to find a family-owned company that treats every customer with the same level of care, no matter the size of the job. Thanks again—we’ll definitely be calling SCI when it’s time for our full roof replacement!
