Innovative Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for Innovative Roofing.

This review was updated after the company sent a letter to my condominium association claiming my original review was false. I was told that only one resident complained. However, based on what I personally observed and discussed with other residents, that did not appear accurate. I am aware of multiple concerns, including nails left on the ground that required cleanup, damage to landscaping, and other issues. Some residents may choose not to post public reviews, but that does not mean their concerns did not exist.”. also owner said that picture one was when they were doing work so no barriers Also he said debris was when they were working .Thats the reason I posted 2 pictures -before with my stool and after the part that i didn’t save with stool My experience with Advanced Roofing was very disappointing. During their project, a black company truck was parked overnight behind my assigned space with no warning signs. At 4:45 a.m., while leaving for work, I backed out in the dark and hit the truck. My vehicle was damaged. They also damaged my landscaping. The only reason more plants weren’t destroyed was because I had placed a stool to protect them . In addition, an expensive flower pot disappeared from my property and was later found on the other side -My concern is both the property damage and the lack of care shown for residents’ property . I hope the company improves its procedures and takes greater responsibility in the future.

Hi Helena, thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We take feedback from every customer seriously, and we're sorry this project has been frustrating for you. We do want to respectfully clarify a few points for accuracy. Your community's association hired us to re-roof all buildings within your community, and roof tear-off is inherently a messy process while it's underway. We place drop cloths and protection around the work areas, but debris on the ground midday is a normal and an unavoidable part of active tear-off. It isn't safe or practical for crews to pick up material while it's still falling from the roof. What matters is the end result and our crews performed a full cleanup of all landscaping, walkways, and grounds at the end of every workday, with your building being of no exception. We would be happy to share photos showing the condition of these same areas after cleanup. Regarding your vehicle..... Our dump truck was parked, unoccupied, in the staging area specifically designated for us by your association's board when your car backed into it. Law enforcement responded to the scene, the incident is documented in the police report, and no citation was issued to our company. We understand any vehicle incident is upsetting, but the characterization that we hit your car is not accurate, and we want other residents and readers to have the facts. We remain glad to speak with you directly, and we'll continue coordinating closely with your board to complete the project safely and leave the community clean. Please feel free to contact our office.

Richard was an outstanding spokesperson to deal with for getting me a new roof. He understood exactly what I was asking for and made it super easy to get me started. If you’re looking for a new roof in the broward area, I highly suggest you ask to speak with Richard!

  Reply from the business

Hi Kalani, Richard sounds like a rockstar, and we love to see customers have great experiences, but we think this 5-star praise may be meant for another roofing team. We don’t currently have a Richard here, though based on your review, we’re considering hiring one immediately. Feel free to send this their way so he gets proper credit for taking great care of you. And if you ever need roof work here in South Florida, we’d be happy to help, even without a Richard (for now). 😄 — The Innovative Roofing Team

Ramiro is legit the best roofing contractor we've worked with, thorough inspection and honest recommendations about what we actually needed.

  Reply from the business

Hi Alana, We love hearing about great customer experiences and Ramiro sounds like the kind of guy who shows up early, works late, and somehow still remembers to smile. Only one small detail… we don’t actually have a Ramiro here at Innovative Roofing. Sounds like this 5-star shout-out may belong to another roofing company, and we definitely want him to get the credit he earned. If you ever need a roof inspected here in South Florida, we’ve got a solid team ready to help, even if none of them are named Ramiro (yet). 😄 — The Innovative Roofing Team
