San Diego County Roofing and Solar replaced our old tar and gravel roof with a new triple layer torch down roof. From the original estimate of work through the entire process they were absolutely great. Their crew of roofers worked tirelessly from 8-5 every day, they were efficient, courteous and took pride in their worksmanship. All problems that arose were quickly resolved and they kept us informed throughout the entire progress. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. They were a fine group of folks to work with and we are very pleased with our new roof.

Excellent job on a very complicated roof with different slopes and flat areas. They knew how to do the tie ins and large vent stacks using TPO on all of the flat areas. It looks GREAT!

A seamless experience with San Diego County Roofing. Troy, Edgar, Dylon and their working crew made our experience pleasant. I highly recommend this company if you want a smooth “sailing”. The price we paid is comparable with other roofing company.

SDCR did an outstanding job on my roof and I highly recommend them. Their crew arrived on time, kept the site clean every day, respected my property, and delivered top-notch workmanship at a very reasonable price. A special thank you to Dylon, the project manager, who was especially impressive. His communication was excellent throughout the entire project, and he stayed directly involved in a hands-on way that gave me a lot of confidence the job was being done right. They also handled the solar dismount and reinstall flawlessly, and their service after the sale has been just as strong—especially in supporting coordination related to my new solar installation. I was kept informed every step of the way, which is rare and greatly appreciated. Overall: excellent workmanship, excellent communication, fair pricing, and a genuinely professional team. I would absolutely use SDCR again.

I had water intrusion in my garage roof. They did an inspection and I had the quote in a few days. They were able to complete the job the following day, which was great. The repaired area looks great!

I’m really glad I found this company! Dylon and Edgar were great to work with and their team did an excellent job and got the work done in a day. We only needed some roof repair and an attic fan, but they took really good care of us. I will definitely use this team again if we need help with our roof in the future.

We've had a very good experience working with San Diego County Roofing & Solar on a few projects at our rental property, including our most recent re-roof of a couple of flat roof units. We appreciate that everyone we've worked with (lead roofer Edgar, estimator Dylon and crew) have all been professional and hardworking, and always get the job done on time and within the expected budget. Highly recommended.

🛠️ Clay tile is a classic that adds elegance and status to any home. But the installation process is a true feat of engineering that requires perfect precision and high professionalism! Unlike standard lightweight asphalt shingles, clay is much heavier. It requires a reinforced framing, special waterproofing underlayment, and the proper laying of each individual element. Curious about how this complex process actually works? We have described the entire professional installation procedure for a clay tile roof step-by-step. From prepping the roof deck to the final fastening—read all the technical details in our blog!2 hours agoLearn more
