  One of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had with a business. I needed to get a quote for a roof repair on a house I am in the middle of purchasing. Mark was extremely inappropriate from the start. He was asking questions that didn't pertain to assessing our roof. Asking about the deal and how long we were planning on living in the house. It felt like he was just trying to see how much he could get out of us. He showed up to the property and got onto the roof even though no one was there yet. He tore underlying off the roof to show me and brought it inside the house. He kept asking me "what do you want" repeatedly even though I had arranged for him to come see the roof and give me a quote for a repair. I sent him an initial report of the issues with the roof so he had that information prior to even arriving at the home. And still even after he got on the roof and inspected himself, I still haven't even received a quote from him. He is erratic and comes off as someone who is on under the influence. I regret even allowing him on the property.

  I was not being sarcastic at all. You asked for a ballpark roof price. We would need more information other than your response of, " its an average roof" We need to know what type of roof? Tile, Shingles, Wood Shake, Metal, Torchdown, TPO and many of the other types of roofing. Each type of roof has a different cost ascoiated to it. Other items needed to price a roof are 1 story or 2 story, how may layers, is it flat or pitched, how many square feet is the roof, is there access to the roof, how many skylights, how many facets and many other items to factor a price. I understand your frustration with me asking these questions to formulate a ballpark price for roofing but to reiterate this in no way shape or form was being snarky or sarcastic at all. When you go to a Dr you cant just say I don't feel good... or he will not know where to begin to help you. We need more information in order to prescribe the correct solution to your roofing needs.

  Promised us quote for months after coming out, discussing what we were looking for, timing, and....just...never responded with a quote. Followed up several times, just wasted our time. Ended up using another contractor---finestcityroofing.com---to put on an insulated roof within a month and we're thrilled.

  I am sorry you feel this way. We as a Roofing contractor replaced the roof and the wood connected to the roof. We squeezed you in before the storm hit. The rotten wood is part of the underside and siding. My guys are roofers and not carpenters. The skills they have are for roofing. The tools they own are for roofing. When it comes to carpentry work that is detailed, we recommend a carpenter to do the carpentry work. I hope this is more clear for you. I am very glad to hear that the roof we put on is working great and not leaking.

  I had Roofing Specialists recently replace my 30+ year old roof. Robert from sales provided me with a line item estimate so I knew exactly what I was getting and the price was reasonable. The team arrived on-time and did an excellent job of installing and cleaning-up. They worked late into the day on demo day which helped them complete the job in 3 days! My new roof is beautiful and safe! I highly recommend!

  Mike and his team provided excellent service and were professional from start to finish. They coordinated all aspects of the project, including the removal and reinstallation of both the AC unit and solar panels, which took a significant burden off my shoulders. Their commitment to quality and workmanship was evident throughout the entire process, and they never cut corners. In today's market, it can be difficult to find contractors you can trust, but Roofing Specialists of San Diego is definitely one of them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality roofing contractor.

  Mark and his crew did an excellent job on our roof. He kept us informed on a daily basis with photos on their progress. His crew cleaned up daily to perfection. I would no hesitate to use Roofing Specialist for any repairs or new roofing. Great job Mark

  On a 5 star scale, I wish I could give 7 stars to Mark Dice and Roofing Specialists of San Diego (RSSD). I got three bids for a new garage roof. Of the three, Mark and RSSD stood out for attention to detail, willingness to deliver features that I wanted, and a great price. Mark was always upbeat and straight forward. He answered his phone. He replied to emails. He scheduled the job when I wanted it done. The crew showed up a little early, and worked a little late, to get the job done in one day, and they cleaned up afterwards. All that was worth 5 stars. But what happened next was worth 7 stars. I took a close look the next day. I saw two things that didn't look quite right. I talked to Mark, sent him pictures, he agreed my concerns were valid. That same day, Mark and RSSD agreed to make the two things right. That was huge. That was worth 7 stars. A crew showed up the next morning to make the finishing touches. In the moment of truth, Mark and RSSD stood behind their work. They earned my trust.   Roofing Specialists of San Diego provided excellent service. Eric was able to schedule a next day appointment to inspect my roof. I learned so much about my roof during the inspection. Eric was very thorough in explaining aspects of my roofing situation, and the report was provided within 24 hours. I recommend their services.

  Robert was very knowledgeable about our issue and how to trouble shoot it. He gave us a reasonable quote and set up the appointment. The company stayed in touch frequently via email about your appointment. Emerson was timely and efficient at fixing our roof issue. Highly recommend!

  From start to finish, Roofing Specialists did a great job on tearing off 2 layers of roofing and replacing it with a nice new cool roof with vents. Mark D. (our rep) was great to work with and very patient answering all my questions. The proposal was very clear with everything itemized and contained a lot of useful information about the parts and process. The guys who worked on it showed on time and did their best to protect the areas around the house and garage before working. When issues came up, they spoke to us immediately and we were able to resolve them. Our neighbors, who were watching them work, told us they were impressed. The roof looks great and after the job they cleaned up the yard (which was not easy because there were high winds the night after they started that blew debris everywhere). Mark warned us there would be a lot of dust and debris falling into the attic and garage and recommended getting tarps (which we did), so we expected the worse. But the workers cleaned up really well and got the debris out. They also went around with a magnet to get nails. I appreciated the photos of the work in progress.

  Eric and Mark were great leading up to the project. The crew did excellent and fast work, cleaning up the entire site each day. In particular, I was very happy with the attention to detail, starting with the line-by-line quote that was provided. The crew covered all aspects, including replacing wood and painting! They provided loads of photos of every stage of the project. Definitely check out this company when considering a roof project.
