I can't speak to the quality of Resilient Roofing work, but they were automatically disqualified due to unethical behavior like buying an old license number and creating a fake background :(

I can't speak to their quality of work, but given the unethical behavior of purchasing an old license number and manufacturing a fake back story was auto-disqualifying.

The rude behavior of the employee. Where did we come from and who did we talk to?

I called Resilient roofing for a leaking we had and they sent someone to check it out and give an estimate to repair and get rid off the leak, then I got 2 estimates and I was told the second one was the better option and more expensive but they would guarantee the job and I wouldn’t have problem for few years at least and I would need a new roof in few years, to cut the story short the first rain we got started to leak same spot as before and I called them and they came up with another few thousands estimate to stop the leak in the same place that was leaking before, Please don’t trust them to do anything on your roof.

Hi Hossein, First, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to share your honest experience. This is not the experience that we aim for with our clients, and we take all customer feedback very seriously. As soon as I saw your review, I brought the team together to go over job history, the scope of work, and project photos to fully understand what happened. Our superintendent, Jose, conducted an inspection in March of this year to assess the source of the ongoing leak. He found that the leak is not coming from the area of the roof that we repaired. The section we worked on involved a coating repair over a flat roof segment. However, the current leak is coming from a section of older shingle roofing located above our repair area. This upper section of your roof was not a part of the scope of work of the project that we completed, and unfortunately it was originally installed in a way that doesn't suit the pitch of the roof. Shingles on low-slope surfaces, such as the facet of your roof that is currently leaking, tend to fail prematurely. This is because without a substantial slope, water tends to soak into and eventually through roof shingles, and the shingles remain wet for much longer, leading to faster deterioration over a shorter time. Our inspection found numerous water penetrations, including from torn shingles, pipes, and flashings on that low-sloped shingle section of the roof. We thoroughly examined our coating repair, and were not able to find any signs of failure or water penetration. After reviewing the inspection photos, I fully stand by our team's assessment that the leak is not related to the work that we completed. In fact, I would encourage you to seek out a third-party inspection to determine the cause of your leak, and I am confident that when you do, it will confirm our findings. That said, I understand how frustrating it is to have to deal with a leak, and that's why our team provided you with a quote to address the leaking facet of your roo

Stop calling all hours all day all week. Four calls a day ranging from 7am to 6pm for weeks straight is absolutely ridiculous.

We're sorry that you had a negative experience with us. We're in the business of roofing, not in spam-calling, and feedback like yours is important to help us improve. Please shoot us an email to info@resilientroofing.com with any more feedback that you have - we appreciate it immensely.

I called to get a quote on a quick roof repair for a leaking skylight. For what it is worth, I know that I need a new roof and am trying to defer to next year. They refused to make an appointment to get a quick repair without both of us home! Obviously planning for the hard sell. If you don’t want to do a small repair that is fine but don’t just use it as a chance for an upsell. I might have used them for the full project if not for these deceptive tactics. There are companies with better service.

Hi Robert, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your interaction with our team didn’t meet your expectations. That’s never the kind of experience we want anyone to have when reaching out for roofing help—especially when dealing with something urgent like a skylight leak. Please know that it’s never our intention to upsell or pressure anyone into services they don’t need. In fact, our roofing consultants follow a strict code of ethics that prioritizes honesty and transparency above all else. We understand your frustration with the appointment process, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. At Resilient Roofing, we appreciate and rely on honest feedback like yours to help us improve and continue striving to be San Diego’s #1 roofer. We truly hope you were able to get the skylight leak taken care of, but if you ever need support in the future—whether it’s a minor repair or a full roof replacement—we’d love the opportunity to earn your trust back.

Thank you Danielle for your review. Our notes show great communication but we understand after reading your other reviews that giving us two stars is better than you usually give, so we are satisfied with that. We wish you the very best.

Hi Rhianna, We're sorry for the frustration you’ve experienced. After your call in March 2023, we found that the leak came through the wall, not from our 2021 roofing work. We wish you the very best.

Last November I was new to the rancho Bernardo area. I didn't know any contractors or subcontractors. I happen to see an ad for resilient roofing as a longtime company in the area with a good reputation. So I called them about my roofing problem... turns out my five thousand dollar problem morphed into a twenty eight thousand dollar project. But in the end, it was for the best! I went along with Lee's recommendations, because I figured they were the experts in the field (she knew her stuff & had proofs) and as it turned out, they are! I so trusted their longevity in their business and their reputation I didn't even get another bid Lee impressed me that much! The professionalism from the inspector who came out to my project (Lee) and did the physical work here to determine what extent my damage was, to Jose, who was the project coordinator to Arturo, who was the project manager to Juan, who was the head Craftsman and a really good guy! He had a great team that cleaned up every day, they were friendly & curteous & they were all nice to my dog. They made sure the gates were closed while working so he couldn't get out and get into trouble. When the project was finished & we needed final adjustments, Jose & Arturo was on it and did it quickly. Both very knowledgeable about my concerns. Even Sylvia in accounting was clear and precise with me about the Billings. When I didn't understand them all she was very patient. I appreciate the whole team! I would give this company a five star without hesitation! And they stand by their labor & products. The warranties are generous and fair! Thank you to your entire team for their professionalism knowledge and care during my project!

Got a new Eagle Tile roof put on my house in Poway through Resilient Roofing and overall it was a smooth process. The crew was professional, kept me informed throughout the job, and wrapped up on schedule. They cleaned up after themselves, answered my questions along the way, and the roof looks great with no leaks since. I'd recommend them.

Replacing our roof shingles: We called Resilient Roofing for an inspection, they were out within a day or two. I was informed of my roof needs, but still had questions. I called the office and spoke to Mike. Mike was out the same day to video tape our roof and walked us through our troubled areas. This was extremely helpful! Also Mike was very patient and attentive to all of my inquires and answered me promptly! Mike service was top notch. He made us feel valued and that our questions were valid. Enter Jose, I have worked with Jose before. He remembered me and our home. He made the experience very comfortable. He checked in daily, sent us emails on what to expect and photos of the days progress. Dickner was one of the crew members. He is a hard worker! The crew are skilled workers, very polite and they all worked diligently to get the job done in 4 days. The yard was cleaned up each day before they left. This project seemed to be on "auto". They know what they are doing and I am confident the work is top notch. Our roof looks the best it has ever looked. I highly recommend Resilient Roofing. They treat yo like family.

I asked Resilient Roofing to inspect my condo's roof, since the HOA could not provide me with records of how old it was or when it was expected to be next replaced. They came out within a couple of days of my request and inspected the roof. I was impressed by their knowledge, professionalism, and frankness, and would trust them to do any roofing needs I have in the future! Thank you!

My mom had your company put an entire new roof on our family home 5 years ago. After she passed away, and left her home to me, I wanted your company to do an inspection during the remodel. You called me back very quickly, and sent someone to inspect that same day. You were very through and explained you would cover the roof for ANY issues because of the 10 year warranty. Just a couple days later your crew was here to do a couple small sealant updates. I am so grateful my mom chose your company to do the roof, it is a relief to have a company who honors their contract and does exceptional work, along with great communication.

We recently hired Resilient Roofing to replace our roof tiles and flat roof membrane, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone in the company was incredibly professional, responsive, friendly, and very easy to work with. Whenever we had a question or concern, it was immediately addressed. Amanda, who first helped us with the quote, was extremely patient and took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. We never felt rushed to sign a contract. Jose, the production coordinator, was very organized and kept everything moving smoothly throughout the project. The superintendent, Jose, provided frequent updates, which we really appreciated and helped us feel informed every step of the way. Silvia in accounting was also wonderful to work with and made everything easy on the administrative side. At the top of the list were the carpenters working on the roof. Great quality work. This was honestly one of the best experiences we have ever had working with a contractor. The communication, professionalism, and customer service exceeded our expectations. We were very, very impressed and would highly recommend Resilient Roofing to anyone needing roofing work done.

Another roof replacement wrapped up here in Kearny Mesa, and honestly, this one turned out fantastic. When our crew arrived at this single-story home, the existing shingles had simply reached the end of their road after years of San Diego sun and weather. The homeowners knew it was time for a quality roofing upgrade, and we delivered exactly that. We installed a complete Owens Corning shingle system backed by our solid workmanship warranty for total peace of mind. The homeowners also chose to add four new SolaTubes during the installation, and they absolutely love how much natural light now fills their home. It's that kind of energy-efficient roofing upgrade that makes a house feel completely transformed. A new gutter system as well. Check out the before and after photos to see the incredible transformation. May 4, 2026
